Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 40th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Grin Fruit!

Don't look at the stats sheet Thurs, nobody mention the stats sheet!

Is it time to go back to bed yet?!

fruitlovingmonkey · 24/11/2015 08:37

Glad you are ok now Keep I think weird pains are normal in the beginning as your womble starts to stretch. Doesn't help the worry though.
I ate baked Camembert last night and it did weird things to my stomach. Sad I'vd also been getting night nausea the past few evenings. Fun fun.

Peenut · 24/11/2015 09:23

Did anyone get a madly snotty nose in early pregnancy? I'm well bunged up!

Don't worry Keep I had a mad AF feeling tummy pain a couple of weeks ago, it stopped me in my tracks. DH was telling me to stop panicking but I did rush to the loo to check all was OK. I think like everyone said it's the womble stretching and pushing other things around while it does so. Even if you do get a bit of bleeding don't panic, that's been happening to me off and on since I found out I was upduffed and a scan at the weekend revealed all was as it should be.

Jelly, poor you with the swamp foof situation, I'm finding swap levels rather disturbing myself. Will avoid the scented panty liners then, wise words ladies, wise words.

God, high snot levels, high foof moisture levels and arse babies! We are sooooo glamorous! WinkStarStarStar

Molly, think you are doing extraordinarily well. Stay strong and you are right to take stuff slowly. Cake Chocolate

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/11/2015 10:02

Pee I get really mucusy and sinusy every evening it feels like. It's eased off a bit now in the second tri. Just another thing to add to the glamour list.

I just hurt my thumb unwrapping my massive ikea delivery and nearly passed out with the pain. I'm not joking I had to sit down and put my head between my legs. WTF?!
I'm glad I've had a baby before, because after that little performance I'd be doubting my ability!

molly thank you, that gives me some hope. Hope your DP is willing to try to work things out, even if it only gives you closure on the situation it seems like it would be good.

thurs definitely don't look at the stats! pud Grin

Scan today! Didn't sleep well partly cause of that and partly cause someone at the party I went to last night said "Oh I think Facebook's unfriended us" and I had to admit "actually, that was me". Awks as fuck. Blush

MollyBloomYes · 24/11/2015 10:05

Womble pains very common. Didn't stop me from being on constant pant watch first twelve weeks though, understand anxiety!

Anyone got any ideas how I might lift DS out of cot if he needs me in middle of night after c section? Daytime should be ok but not sure what to do at night. Silly thing to be worrying about amongst everything but wondering if I should start getting him used to bed guard now. He's only 18 months, seems very little to be in proper bed?

At doctors. Still can't eat or sleep very well though am trying so just want to check what I can be doing and that baby's ok. Lots of cramps today as well which doesn't help worry!

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/11/2015 10:21

molly I know of plenty of 18mo who were in proper or toddler beds, due to all manner of circumstances. My DS id 2.6 and still in his cot, but I ally struggle to get him in now, and we're going to have move him into a bed sooner rather than later I think.

Could you co-sleep with baby and have DS in a bed? That would be minimal lifting.

Mermaid36 · 24/11/2015 10:51

pee - I am also snotty....it's not very glam, this pg thing, is it!

MollyBloomYes · 24/11/2015 11:45

Not worried about baby Thursday was lifting DS very quickly after his c section and he was nearly 10lb! I'll consider co sleeping but DS hated it so we'll see! But reassuring about bed, perhaps I'll enlist some help to adapt his cot bed this weekend.

Have got anti nausea meds to help with appetite and have to go for blood test for thyroid and liver function as while we were talking he noticed a swelling in neck. This guy is like an affable English Dr House! He was great, talked everything through, H has an appointment with him next week (ironically made when he thought he was getting depressed again) which he'd like to see both of us at to act as a third party and help unpick. Whether he'll agree to that I don't know but as he's called the shots on everything else I rather feel he could agree to this one!

MollyBloomYes · 24/11/2015 11:46

Oh and YES to the snot! Only in my case I don't think it's snot I think it's just really swollen nasal passages! The glamour and pregnancy glow!

honeysucklejasmine · 24/11/2015 12:01

Molly Dsis had a swollen thyroid gland in her second pregnancy. She had part of it removed afterwards but doesn't need any medication or anything.

KateBeckett · 24/11/2015 12:39

Fingers crossed H agrees molly sounds like it could be helpful.

Yes to the snotty nose!! I've been hideously snotty for weeks Hmm

Just calming down after hysterical pregnant crying fit... First of all, I'm inly 8 weeks and none of my ducking clothes are comfy any more. Everything is tight around the waist, which I now can't stand Sad
Second (and much worse) - dp has a beautiful pot umbrella stand, which was inherited from family. A few weeks ago we had friends round with heir toddler, so j moved it into the bedroom away from the carnage. Never got round to moving it back. Today, dp has tripped over some clothes I left I the bedroom floor and smashed it to pieces. I feel fucking terrible. Sad Sad Sad not sure it can be fixed. He is being really nice about it, but I know he is gutted. Can't stop crying about it... I'm so pathetic!!

Midwife appointment went well yesterday, I was very brave when she took blood! Apparently I will get a letter in the next 3/4 weeks about my scan so I doubt it will happen before Xmas, which is annoying as we want to tell our families over the holidays. It would be nice to know that everything is okay, and be able to show them a scan picture!

keep I've had loads of womble pains, had a mad panic for a week or so as they were all one sided, but it seems to have settled down mostly now.

honeysucklejasmine · 24/11/2015 13:23

Kate I'm not really seeing how its your fault really. Sure you put the clothes there but he didn't look where he was going. Take it in the chin as one of those things and stay calm.

KateBeckett · 24/11/2015 16:42

Thanks honey he didn't even blame me, I was having a crazy pregnant lady moment I think!!

Peenut · 24/11/2015 17:22

Sometimes you've just got to let it all out Kate, and an umbrella stand takes the brunt of your emotions! Maybe with some intensive super glue action it'll all be OK?

You might get your scan through before Christmas, apparently they are actually open over Christmas break aside from bank holidays so midwife tells me. Got mine through for 4th Jan and I'm a week behind you.

I won't be surprised if none of my clothes fit me by next week. No exercise and excessive carb consumption happening at the mo!

Oh god, it's been what, half an hour since I last ate and I'm hungry/pukey again.

Mermaid36 · 24/11/2015 17:45

Right viriods, I'm attempting zumba tonight! It's the last class of the year (instructor is in panto) so I'm going to give it a go and shake my boots wobble around like a weeble

Mermaid36 · 24/11/2015 17:46

Boots?? Booty!

lildottie · 24/11/2015 18:31

Boot shaking is about all I'd manage molly

Kate I was told they prioritise scans based on dating so you may find you get date for bang on 12 weeks. Mine is at 12+1.

keep I've had some real take your breath away cramps early on. Try not to panic.

Not that I can talk about panicking. As those on fb group know I'm currently freaking out over a uti I didn't know I had until doctors phkned me to tell they had picked it up in my booking in sample!

Off to check the stats sheet and see who's the most scared!

pretzelpieces · 24/11/2015 19:01

molly gx that doc's appointment goes ahead and moves things forward a bit.

kate I burst into tears at the hospital today. Sick of being shunted all over the hospital, seeing different people, half of them don't introduce themselves. It's stressful. We can wail together.

mermaid enjoy zumba Smile

Scan showed baby is spot on size wise and fluid etc looking good, so that's a relief. Am being transferred to diabetes consultant though I'll still be under mh midwives as well. Had a big cry at them because they've been shunting me all over and I'm sick of having to be my own care coordinator when they barely treat me like a person instead of an incubator.

pretzelpieces · 24/11/2015 19:09

Sorry, that turned into an upset rant SadBlush am also starting metformin tonight.

jellypi3 · 24/11/2015 19:48

:( not exactly what you need right now pret is it. You have really suffered this pg :(

Got my chicco next to me today finally. Also moved a lot of the baby stuff into my house from the in laws. Can't wait to get the baby's room decorated!

Mermaid36 · 24/11/2015 19:59

pret - hugs - wail as much as you want!

I really enjoyed zumba, and whilst I wasn't quite up to previous standard, I actually feel better for having got back into exercising again. The lovely instructor kept an eye on me and gave me the nod when he thought I was overdoing it.
Not sure I'll manage kickboxing tomorrow, see how I feel in the morning.

Slightly rant-y at DH. I've got back and he hasn't started dinner. The oven isn't even on. Apparently he "forgot". He's going to have to wait until 9pm for his dinner now...

CountryGal4 · 24/11/2015 20:17

I have pregnancy rhinititus - no joke my nose is like a tap haha!!

KateBeckett · 24/11/2015 20:50

pretz you can share my tissues Flowers well done for starting the meds tonight, remember we're all here xx

lil 12 weeks bang on would be the day before Xmas eve!! But midwife said we'll get the letter in 3 to 4 weeks, which is when I'll be 12 weeks ha! Might stump up the money for a private scan... Looks expensive though.

honeysucklejasmine · 24/11/2015 21:45

Kate where are you based? I travelled to Midlands for early scan as travel + scan was cheaper up there than scan down here! I paid £40.

Brownies was absolutely mental tonight. Both my Rainbow guiders were late, AGAIN. Then whined that I hadnt bought the right brand and of popcorn (which totally didn't matter) then took forever getting it sorted... In the end I put on the Christmas CD and we had a sing song whilst we waited.

Brownies much better but a couple of them are proper hard work. Had to sit down as was seeing flashing lights and now I have a wicked headache so going to bed.

In other news... 27 weeks tomorrow, still only 1lb gained. Get in!
