Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 40th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I am also self-employed pee

fruitlovingmonkey · 18/11/2015 11:55

Hehe at snoring Shell, does your DH snore? Well done for being so organised. I put the clothes away a while ago fatty it is so weird to think I won't wear them again for ages. I miss my leather pants!
Aww Pretz sorry you are having such a hard time. I hope you get the support you need and we are always here for you too. I grew up with someone with an eating disorder so I know how complicated it can be but you are doing really well.Flowers for you.
Pee I'm self employed too. There is a natural break in my work about a month before my due date so I think I will stop at that point to make it easier to explain/ organise. I can't decide whether to give up work completely for a while or start up again about 4 or 5 months after the birth and see how it goes. I would need a babysitter though so it might not be worthwhile financially.
It's a beautiful day here so I took ddog for a long walk and now he is relaxing on the new sofa. After 4 months living without proper furniture the sofa has finally arrived! It's so comfy!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/11/2015 12:10

I am self employed too. I have a form from midwife in my notes and apparently need to phone Job Centre for a form of some sort to allow me to claim mat allowance. Not that it will be much, but hey! I work in the education sector so I am stopping at end of term because it would be a PITA to start the new term for a few weeks then piss off. So going on maternity at 30 weeks technically!

I am probably not going to go back. DH would prefer I didn't and so would I, but we'll see how far we can stretch his saary before deciding for sure.

oneyorkshirepud · 18/11/2015 17:39

Ooh that will be lovely Honey. Do you think you would find something else or be a SAHM?

Pee get used to the early starts, I have no idea what they are all about but they are frequent!

Jelly did you move out today? I am excited for you to move into your new house and start nesting!

Leather pants Fruit?! Switz swoo!!

Officially Finished work now, hurray! Things I am looking forward to:
Getting my house (mostly) finished
Not wearing a bra!
Swimming/aqua natal
Having a chance to look after DH a bit as he has been fab for the last 8 months
Sewing projects
All day cat cuddles

Baby pud is not allowed to arrive for at least two weeks! But should arrive quite quickly after that Grin

jellypi3 · 18/11/2015 17:59

Wooooooo hoooooooo pud great news but you are totally only like 12 weeks preggers

We are move out officially. We move in Friday and I CAN NOT WAIT!!! The move went as well as can be expected but I am so so tired. NCT tonight so I'll probably fall asleep lol

KateBeckett · 18/11/2015 18:26

I haven't had a reaction from the head yet! I chickened out and emailed her this afternoon, after I'd been back to the docs and gotten some different pills. (And a fit note which lasts until the end of next week- feeling mega guilty about that!!) I did try to call and speak to her this afternoon, but couldn't get hold of her so sent an email instead...

Ended up seeing a different GP, who was very no nonsense ('have you looked into those wristbands? It sounds like bollocks, but they do help some women' followed by a story of when she was pregnant and her husband bought her some!) but made a comment about how most of the women they see with ms are he ones who have to work... Dp thinks she meant those of us who work are under more strain with it, but I felt a bit small... Prob because I already feel guilty!!

Glad the move went ok today jelly fingers crossed Friday is even smoother!

pud Star yaaaaaay for your maternity leave! I'm sure mini pud will do exactly as they are told Grin

pee I got the early starts too. They suck! I get them less now, and instead have to get up to pee twice a night, and feel sick instead! The joys of pregnancy!!

Glad your sw was helpful pretz Flowers

lildottie · 18/11/2015 18:42

Hi all

I am seriously bad at staying up to date ATM.

pee I'm a self employed accountant so have loads of ppl wanting my attention all the time! Luckily I've just been joined by an ex colleague to expand my firm so planning to get offices and staff to ease pressure while I'm off

oneyorkshirepud · 18/11/2015 19:40

Wowza Lil, building an empire - that's awesome!!

Apparently getting up in the night to pee is good for baby as it gets your blood flowing. Silver linings and all that.

Kate, hooya! Stop feeling guilty! Your gp sounds hilarious! I also think your DP is right.

oneyorkshirepud · 18/11/2015 19:41

P.s. Getting uncomfortable braxton hicks (again). If I only get 6 hours of maternity leave I am not going to be happy!!!!

CountryGal4 · 18/11/2015 20:14

Pud I've finally caved and eaten Christmas pudding... It's your fault

oneyorkshirepud · 18/11/2015 20:27

Ha ha!!

5hell · 18/11/2015 21:17

mmmmm christmas pudding!..i have succumbed to mince pies, but not put yet...mmm raisins! Grin

really not organised at all in truth, but at least i've started now AND I'm watching 3 mat coats on eBay!

oh pud don't even joke! hope you have a lovely couple of weeks of r&r

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 18/11/2015 21:41

I didn't know about Maternity Allowance thanks honey! I worked straight through with DD my assistant was coming round to work with me when she was like 6 days old. I couldn't fathom that now and it's my own company!

KateBeckett · 18/11/2015 21:54

She was pretty awesome pud !

Had a lovely email back from my head. I am very pleasantly surprised Smile

oneyorkshirepud · 18/11/2015 22:33

Ooh Sky what do you do? (If you can say!) Such entrepreneurial Viroids!

Yey for your HT being lovely Kate!

Good news, BHs have calmed down (again) so I'm not having a baby tonight Grin At least at this rate i might not notice when I am in the latent phase of labour!

Peenut · 18/11/2015 22:49

That's good Kate! Hope the new pills work better for you!

Do they do leather maternity pants Fruit? They so should! Might be a bit sweaty I suppose.

Sorry to hear you had a weep Pretzel, sounds like you are battling through though, with the aid of giant birthing knickers! Flowers

Go all the self employed laydeez! Great! I can pick your brains about this minefield of wanting to wind down a bit whilst still wanting a job to go back to! (Or that's my dilemma anyway)

Woah Sky! You must have been delirious working on day 6 post birth! Confused

Christmas pudding?! I hope it was set ablaze beforehand with brandy? (Fine as alcohol will be burned off! )

Fingers crossed you get some chill out time before baby Pud!

Happy house move Jelly!

pretzelpieces · 18/11/2015 22:50

Yay for baby staying put pud!

Glad GP was helpful and HT nice as well kate.

Got another high blood sugar reading tonight. Third in two days so will have to ring MWs tomorrow morning (they said ring if I get three high results in a week). I hope I'm not boring you all to tears with my GD updates! Nearly cried at nct after I got my high result, but hid in the kitchen until I'd pulled myself together (we were on tea break and everyone else was eating biscuits Envy).

pretzelpieces · 18/11/2015 22:54

Whoops, I cross posted with you pee. H&M have some nice leather look maternity treggings, fruit. I couldn't quite pull them off myself (physically or style wise) Grin

pretzelpieces · 18/11/2015 23:15

These ones but omg while I was there I spotted THESE - wow spangly or what. I can't decide if I love them or hate them but they are certainly something.

honeysucklejasmine · 18/11/2015 23:19

Pud ideally SAHM but I'd like to keep up some A level tutoring now and then. Takes so much effort to learn it to teach it so I want to keep using it!

5hell · 19/11/2015 06:06

pretz they r so spangly!!!! Nice they have made something a bit different for the mat range, but I don't think they'd wash well ;)
Hopefully you just need a little tweak on timings or drinks or something to sort the high readings...gx for u xx

jellypi3 · 19/11/2015 07:14

Morning all. First day commuting from my new town, a day return cost me 50 quid and the train was rammed (luckily people this far out from London are nice and gave me a seat). Joy!

Still, 30 weeks today! Where is the time going!

CarrotPuff · 19/11/2015 08:09

Enjoy your mat leave pud!

pretzel chin up love, not long to go now Thanks

Yay for kickass GP kate and nice HT.

My baby is 2 today. How did that happen??

Also woke up with v sore hips. And I'm tired, so so tired...

lildottie · 19/11/2015 08:32

Morning viroids.

£50 for a day return jelly?!!!? I'm glad you at least got a seat!

Honey I'm jealous. I want to be sahm though I'd soon get the need to work! gutted I won't get the 12m off I'd have got if I'd been working where I was when we started ttc. Alot has changed in 3years!

Can't believe it's 8weeks since they put this bean in me! I'm 10+1 today! Had booking this week and bloods booked for next week. Am so glad I got a new mat bra!

jellypi3 · 19/11/2015 08:34
