Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 40th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I was sipping fiat cherry coke all day Sunday like it was the most expensive champagne you ever saw Grin

I'm 25+6 today Thursday. The only plus side is I only feel nauseous for about 30 seconds before vom, rather than a constant feeling

Hope the D&V clears up quickly. Flowers

jellypi3 · 17/11/2015 08:46

Morning! Sorry for those of you feeling sick still :( not fun.

We've had some house drama, our removal company were coming thursday night to get our bits are now coming tomorrow morning Shock so i'm off work packing as much as i can! fun times.

pud can you not work from home or take a few days break? i guess being in a school means you are quite limited?

anyone got ikea furniture for their children? we've got an ikea bed which i do like, and i'm looking at their cots and nursery furniture. Not sure about its longevity though?

Jcandy · 17/11/2015 08:51

kate take the time off! I had to and felt guilty about it. But no one thanked me for all the rest of the time I struggled in and it was easier to control the vomiting when I didn't have to drive anywhere/move. It's not a competition to see who can cope the best so just think about yourself and your baby and what you both need at the moment.

honey sorry that you're still being sick. I've felt nauseous every day but thankfully it's been a couple of weeks since I was actually sick. Have you noticed if certain foods make it worse?

honeysucklejasmine · 17/11/2015 09:17

JC No, not really. Yesterday I was sick in the morning before eating anything. And then sick again at night. I had toast with plum jam for breakfast, a ham, cucumber, tomato and egg sarnie for lunch. And about a tablespoon of chili con carne and rice for dinner. I drank 500ml of Coke zero and also ate a bag of walkers baked crisps. Other than water, that's it.

honeysucklejasmine · 17/11/2015 09:18

(Not really a very balanced diet though Blush )

Peenut · 17/11/2015 09:20

Kate From my currently limited experience I'd defo say tiredness makes the nausea worse. Had an early night and feeling much more normal today. The days where I have felt weird have been the days where I've had a late night or not slept well.

Rewind a bit Pud there is an exercise with knees on sofa and head on the floor for heavily preggo ladies? Head rush!

How far along are you Honey? Hope the MS buggers off for you soon.

honeysucklejasmine · 17/11/2015 09:40

25+6 Pee I hope so too! Dsis was still being sick at 9 months with her first so I am not too hopeful.

pretzelpieces · 17/11/2015 09:52

Sorry to those feeling ill and tired Flowers I hope today isn't too tough on you.

jelly that's outrageous! They just ring up and say they're coming a day and a half early? Eeeek. So I guess you're packing like a whirlwind. Will be good to get it all over and done with I suppose?!

I was late with my first blood test last night! I think I'll set a more insistent alarm on my phone for them today Blush otherwise I just ignore it. Thanks for all your support viroids. Hissy fit over, I will get on with it. It's 4 times a day so I just need to be organised about it.

honeysucklejasmine · 17/11/2015 10:06

Missed your post Jelly! Argh, what a nightmare! How come its changed? Surely moving date hasn't changed? Are they going to have to store it for a bit? Also, I have LOADS of ikea furniture and its never failed me. So don't see why the baby stuff would.

5hell · 17/11/2015 10:09

so many other freds are crazy sky ...on sunday i read one where the woman got slated because she was buying her DH his own "manly" changing bag for xmas and was asking for little ideas of things to go in it - including some fun things AS IT WAS FOR XMAS! So many people were all "i dont get it / why does he need his own bag / will he actually be alone with dc v often / i'm very Hmm at manly bag / why are you infantilising your dh / why are you rewarding him for changing a nappy" Confused Hmm Shock

those responses give MN a bad name in my opinion.
DH said she should add some lego for when baby is sleeping ha!

good luck with the finger prick routine pretz you'll be a pro in no time

FeatheredTail · 17/11/2015 10:21

I am addicted to AIBU due to the dramas and the ability of the contributors to get so - SO - worked up. They really do enjoy a fight!

jellypi3 · 17/11/2015 11:01

The removal company are going to store it in their storage unit honey, although i'm not giving them anything expensive to take. We are still completing Friday, so we will essentially be homeless Wednesday and Thursday lol!

Just bought most of the stuff for my hospital bag, still need to get PJ's, socks and a few small bits like drinking bottle, snacks etc. Spent £90 on it all Shock

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/11/2015 11:02

I really think that most of AIBU and Relationships threads are started by trolls and then the inevitable backlash is egged on by GFs who prey on people who are weak/feel victimized etc. Seriously, it is like some serious Right Wing shit on those boards some days... Going to make myself a Brew and take a deep breath...

pretzelpieces · 17/11/2015 12:20

jelly yeah same! Although none of it will be used up just in hospital eg nursing pads, lansinoh etc I got enough to last a little while. I also stupidly ordered the wrong size nappies which I've only just realised! Meant to get sizes 1 and 2 and got 0 and 1. I'll try to swap them in a boots store.

jellypi3 · 17/11/2015 12:28

Oh I only got size 1 nappies, maybe I should get some 2's as well. Also forgot lasinoh. Doh.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/11/2015 14:19

I commend your preparedness jelly! Aren't you like 21 weeks?! Amazing work!

honeysucklejasmine · 17/11/2015 14:58

I think Jelly is more like 30 weeks Sky! Shock

KateBeckett · 17/11/2015 15:52

Thanks everyone. I'm going to make a doctors appointment as soon as I can (might be next week tho Sad our appointment system sucks!!) and ask to be signed off for a while. Might ask about a change of medication or increase in dose too- tablets don't seem to be doing as much anymore. honey I'm on cyclizine too! It worked pretty well until yesterday, though I have still been waking in the middle of the night feeling really sick!

I fell over today! Coming out of work at lunchtime, I slipped and landed flat on my arse... Didn't hurt myself thanks to being well padded, but I'm a bit worried I've hurt squidge... I'm being stupid right?!
Also had a bit of a panic as a kid in my class got sent home with suspected chicken pox, and mum said he'd had the spots a few days, but seemed fine so they'd sent him in without saying anything Angry luckily it turns out it's not chicken pox, but it was a bit scary...

jelly sounds like your day has been a tad stressful as well! How come they have changed the day like that?! Seems crazy... Hope you get it sorted in time! Chocolate

pretzel have you gotten into the swing of it yet? Flowers

5hell · 17/11/2015 16:16

oh kate hope you get some relief asap.

no you wont have hurt your little bean - it's well cushionned in there :)

i think chicken pox contact is fine anyway as long as you've already had it...dont quote me, but i did look it up relatively recently as colleague's DS had it.

KateBeckett · 17/11/2015 16:24

Thanks 5hell , though I've just been reading the 'pregnant princess' thread and feeling shitty again!! Bleh.

honeysucklejasmine · 17/11/2015 17:07

Kate that is totally out of order of that parent! Risking the health of everyone in the class for all they know. I really do think it might be worth having a quiet word with your head teacher and HR person, if you have one. I used to get an email warning if any pupil had an infectious disease as I have a compromised immune system.

oneyorkshirepud · 17/11/2015 17:13

I just read the pregnant princess thread too Kate, load of old cobblers. I spoke to my boss today and have brought my mat leave forward by 2 days, so I finish tomorrow yippee!! Being upduffed is hard work and it is important to know your limitations. You need to look after yourself and baby.

Eep, good luck with the packing Jelly!!

pretzelpieces · 17/11/2015 17:31

pud well done and how exciting you're finishing tomorrow!!! glitter cannons

kate your bean should still be well nestled in your pelvis at this stage. Obviously any weird symptoms get checked out and mention the fall. I'm sort of getting the hang of the blood testing, thanks for asking. Did my two so far today first time whereas last night I ended up stabbing one finger three times trying to get enough blood out! then I bled everywhere

Last daisy birthing tonight hoooorrraaaayyyyyy. I'm making chilli for tea so I'll be the farty one in class again Grin

oneyorkshirepud · 17/11/2015 17:34

Ooh glitter cannons, nice! Grin

Yey for successful finger stabbing and last daisy class! Then you can relaaaaax!
