Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 40th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

WOW Tri, that is an absolute bargain!

Pretz glad your hospital day is over. Hope you get used to the finger stabbed.

Embrace the stomach beard ladies I can plait mine

So baby pud has been in the 'correct' position for as long as I have been able to feel him/her. Now we have reached 35 weeks when this stuff becomes important... and baby decides to be transverse! Naughty baby! Will have a look at spinning babies later but right now I just need to lie down. That will help, right??

4 days to go at work!

CarrotPuff · 16/11/2015 18:21

I'm glad my list is coming in handy.

With DS we've told our families at 8 weeks. Then I had a mc, so this time we waited till after the "12" week scan.

It depends on people and your relationship with them. There are no rules about it, just do what you feel comfortable with. Also if someone is not great at keeping secrets, they are even more likely to blurt out such news like pregnancy!

Naughty babypud, hope it turns soon.

I never had a stomach beard... I've noticed though that the hair on my legs is growing much slower this time!

CarrotPuff · 16/11/2015 18:23

Pretzel you're not a bad mum. I hope you enjoyed your doughnut. I could eat one too right now.

jellypi3 · 16/11/2015 18:26

pret :( poor you. I would advise eating cake normally but I take it this is a no no? Hugs to you.

pud tell baby to move! Naughty js'er babies lol!

pee we basically told the people we would tell if it ended in MC. So I told my best mates, my grandparents and DP'S parents. Everyone else we told at 12 weeks.

Glad you are feeling better sky.

KateBeckett · 16/11/2015 20:29

Hello everyone! I have fallen off the thread Confused feeling utterly shitbags. Tablets from the docs are sort of working, but I'm still waking up in the night feeling really nauseous, and I woke dp this morning dry heaving! Then had another spell of dry heaving at school after the kids had gone, and then again in the car on the way home Sad feeling slightly sicky now too. And just so damn exhausted.
Gp said she could sign me off work if needed, but a) I don't want to tell them yet, and b) I feel like it's a cop out. I can function, so I should just crack on with it. I know how other people at my work have been spoken about when they've been off ill, and I just don't want the guilt...

5hell I have a tummy beard already!! Not V noticeable, but I've had it since puberty... It gets shaved off when do my legs Blush Blush

Pretzel you're not a bad mum, you're a pregnant woman! Hope you're feeling ok now x

We have told our mums. I'm considering telling my orders friend this week, as we are going to visit at the weekend, and I am struggling with ms. Not telling my dad and stepmum until after 12 weeks... He will say something that will piss me off so I'd rather put it off as long as possible!

Will try to catch up more tomorrow... [santa]

5hell · 16/11/2015 20:36

always happy to amuse :)

pee tbh i am quite hairy anyway (including round belly button, nice!) but stomach beard is definitely developing...after all dh never noticed before!

kate sorry you're struggling...have you found anything that helps the heaving? mints, biscuits, boiled sweets...anything?! does being hungry make it worse?

MollyBloomYes · 16/11/2015 20:44

Sorry to hear you're feeling illKate. Don't be scared of taking the gp's offer if need be, nobody needs to know why except your manager and you and the baby are most important right now. Sod what everyone else thinks, even when I had pneumonia it couldn't compare to the bone shattering exhaustion of early pregnancy!

pretzel Flowers

pud I think they generally do sort themselves put but good luck with the spinning if not!

Think DS has hand foot and mouth. Would explain why he's been an absolute git all weekend and today! Hope I don't get it, can't deal with being ill and pregnant and looking after a toddler! Definite white flag waving time Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/11/2015 21:02

molly i was sure DD had that or slapped cheek this weekend but we only had the fevers for 24 hours. Hope yours passes too!

honeysucklejasmine · 16/11/2015 21:32

Kate I find that sniffing strong mints will stave off heaving whilst driving. I have a big pot of gum in my car so if I feel a bit queasy I grab it, flip the lid and inhale deeply. And once the urge has passed I grab a piece of gum from the pot to chew until I get to a bathroom.

Please note present tense. Days since I was last sick: 0 Hmm

Peenut · 16/11/2015 21:52

Poor you Kate ... Sounds like you are having an awful time. Perhaps a few more days off will help though, you might get to a point where your body settles down a bit? If you were to tell management they can't tell anyone else and sod the gossipers.

Oh no Molly, hope illness levels subside in your house!

Thanks for all the advice on sharing news of being upduffed. I think this week's visit from my mum isn't the right time as we won't be on our own.

If I've made it a few weeks further along before she visits again in December I'll tell her then. It just feels so soon that I'm still adjusting to feeling normal one minute, weirdly pregnant the next.

Go the belly beards! I'm quite a hairy lady myself so maybe I'll cultivate one? Something to look forward to!

jellypi3 · 16/11/2015 21:58

I've taken to shaving my belly beard for fear of having to plait it...

I picked up my bounty packs and Emma diary packs today. They were pretty crap although bounty was the worst one! Got a free pen pretty much lol.

oneyorkshirepud · 16/11/2015 22:02

I like to stroke my stomach beard. He is called Brian

Kate, why not just get signed off for the rest of this week so you can recuperate? If the drugs aren't working for you it may be worth going back to the gp to try something else. Flowers

Didn't do any spinning as baby is having a good old wiggle so hopefully getting back to head down. Will do the daily exercises once I am on mat leave though. Looking forward to the 'knees on the sofa, head on the floor' one. Probably not recommended if you have ms!

CarrotPuff · 16/11/2015 22:40

Kate don't feel guilty for being off work. People will always find something to bitch about. And FWIW I've heard tiredness can make ms worse. I never had ms, just awful nausea, and it definitely was worse when I was tired.

Molly I hope it's nothing and passes soon.

pretzelpieces · 16/11/2015 22:55

molly eep! Hope you can avoid the lurgy.

kate sorry you're feeling so ill. Don't feel bad about needing time off work. First tri is tough!

honey you poor thing Flowers

pud Grin you haven't posted a bumpie in ages! Stomach beard visibility optional... Come on Brian don't be shy.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/11/2015 23:28

Have just been on the relationships board putting in my tuppence about the crazy OW bias on that board. They're a pleasant bunch Hmm never got around to saying why I had a bee in my bonnet with them... Got accused of being the OW back when I first joined and was looking for advice on the Step-Parenting boards... I'm glad I found you lot. Sometimes I think you're the only normal ones Flowers

honeysucklejasmine · 16/11/2015 23:37

Minutes since I was last sick: 5

Casualties also included my underwear, the floor and the bathroom sink. Also DH who I shoved out the way to throw up.

Fucking glamorous.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/11/2015 23:41

Oh honey poor you FlowersFlowersFlowers

honeysucklejasmine · 16/11/2015 23:43

DH wonders how there was so much vomit when I ate about a tablespoon of chilli for dinner. One of lifes mysteries.

Can you link the thread Sky? Saw it in active but can't find it now.

oneyorkshirepud · 17/11/2015 04:06

Have you been to the docs Honey? Your ms has been going on forever!

Will post a bumpie soon!

honeysucklejasmine · 17/11/2015 07:18

I am taking cyclizine Pud! Must increase the doseage.

oneyorkshirepud · 17/11/2015 07:23

Meeeeeh, work. Did not sleep well. Considering bringing final day forward to tomorrow as I'm just so tired. Meh.

fruitlovingmonkey · 17/11/2015 07:40

Oh Sky every time I venture away from the safety of the shaggers, I regret it. Non viroids get so worked up about the smallest things.
Kate take the time off. Sounds like you're busting your balls to hang in there and nobody will give you a medal for it. You and the baby are most important now so fuck the gossips. Soon enough you'll get a nice long break away from them and their bitching anyway. Grin
Molly hope you manage not to get it, we had some kids at nursery with it once and it was horrible.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/11/2015 08:05

I am actually embarrassed to now honey I can't believe I even engaged with such hysterical and hateful people. It is actually shocking the way that they speak about others. Confused

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/11/2015 08:12

Try the telly addicts board, that's always much more chilled out than anything else!

honey you poor poor thing. I can't remember how far along you are? Well you're nearly there now, and you're doing a stirling job of growing that baby Thanks

Bad news from the Thurs Household is that poor DH has D&V today (by the sounds of things) so it's going to be another long day

Boo to the D and V Thursday! My prescription for that is lucozade once the eruptions slow down... It is the only thing that makes me feel better... Flowers
