nehagarg sorry to hear about your mum, it sounds like a lot for you to cope with. I hope you have some support for you too otherwise you'll be exhausted.

Brilliant news emma! Great to see a little wiggly baby in there Smile

potkettle then I think my belly is sadly just bloat still- it's soft and squishy. Hurry up bump!

Right, I'm going to have to go to bed- I'm shattered. 8:30pm is a respectable bedtime, right?! Grin

Potkettleblack2 · 17/11/2015 20:45

Mollie 8.30 is definitely ok!
In the morning I can feel the hard bit but not in the evening. By evenings bloat is masking anything else!

emma85x · 17/11/2015 20:51

nehagarg Good luck tomorrow! Enjoy!

Rose2806 · 17/11/2015 21:08

Emma that sounds wonderful, very happy for you!

Nehagarg hope your mum starts to recover soon xxx

Beano no worries, I enjoyed it lol! Aww that's sweet of him, there's a pizza advert on the tube right now that looks amazing, I could rip the paper off and eat it! (Might get a few odd looks for that!)

I'm off to bed now as well, nausea and retching is back again already after saying only a couple of hours ago I felt better today :-(

It's already quite far back now but if anyone who has any experience with cysts during pregnancy saw my earlier post would be great to know your thoughts, I will probably call the epu about it tomorrow but I've found they tend to just recommend you come in for almost anything and as much as I'd love to see the baby again don't want to over-do the scans (had 3 already due to ectopic scare)

SliceofLemon · 17/11/2015 21:25

rose I also had/have cyst, also approx 2cm. They weren't at all worried and didn't think it needed monitoring. I also get a little pain on the cyst side. Also getting lots of front of belly pain when cough, roll over.

EPU do seem keen to scan! They got me worried today as they want me to come in for scan due to more spotting, I was expecting them just to reassure me! Unfortunately I can't make the scan so just keeping FX.

Billi77 · 17/11/2015 22:01

Hello. Had MMC in June so first scan today at 8w2d was an emotional rollercoaster. Am
Pleased to say I saw a heartbeat and a small blob measuring 8 weeks and 1 day.

emma85x · 17/11/2015 22:26

Congratulations billi You must feel very relived and happy!

nehagarg · 17/11/2015 22:53

Thanks for the love everyone.

Grubby Mollie - Unfortunately, my brother lives in another country and dad is out of UK right now too. In fact this started the day he left. Its not the care I am concerned with. More about what will happen if she falls over or something.. I am debating whether to ask my boss for 10 days to work from home until dad returns.

Beano - its extremely painful. I never thought that walking on a broken bone will be allowed. But she has to if she is not to make it worse. The human body is fascinating.

Anyway - 12 week scan tomorrow for me and Snowflake. Have had no time to think about it which has a plus side - no time to freak myself out. Grin Thanks for the wishes everyone

I think it might be!

Lovelybeano · 18/11/2015 04:49

I've been up an hour with really bad nausea, it was bad yesterday too boohoo I thought it would start easing off now but it seems to be getting worse bleurgh, I keep thinking if I was sick it might make me feel better but I absolutely hate being sick, it's going to be a long ass day at work today! Oh well, 9+3 getting closer to the magic 12 week mark Smile

emma85x · 18/11/2015 07:27

nehagarg Good luck today! We'll be thinking of you. How exciting!

beano I hope you're sleeping now and you're feeling much better.

Here's a photo of my baby! He/she is waving to say hello to you all!

nehagarg · 18/11/2015 07:36

Wow! dont you love it when a baby looks like a baby in an early scan pic instead of a blob with a heartbeat! Loving the little arms and legs. Smile

Nehagard hope all goes well at your 12 week scan! Are u the first on this thread? Exciting stuff, means we are all getting closer to that time Smile

Betty79 · 18/11/2015 08:08

Emma fab scan pic, u can really see its little arms waving!

TattedPixie · 18/11/2015 08:26

Good morning ladies, I'm up, dressed and munching on toast before I leave for my booking appointment. Hope you all had a good night.
Emma, that is such a cute scan picture.
Right, I'll talk to you all once I get back from the hospital

mrslewis2015 · 18/11/2015 08:35

Gorgeous scan emma! Good luck today neharg and snowflake for your 12 weeks ones! So exciting!

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 18/11/2015 08:44

Thank you for all the love. Good luck neharg and snowflake. Lovely being the first for 12 week scans hope you both get lovely pictures. I think I'm going to be one of the last if not the last on here for my 12 week scan. Only 7+3 according to scan yesterday long way to go till 12 weeks.

dollydaydream84 · 18/11/2015 08:46

nehagarg - how awful for your poor Mum, hope you are both doing ok. Good luck for your scan tomorrow xx

Grubby - thanks for your concern :)

Emma - SO pleased your scan went well. Amazing what they can see when they are so tiny! I saw a heart beating and the entire size of the baby is just 1.8cm so the heart must be about 1mm. Still amazed! Cute pic!!

Billi - congrats! What date are you due? I'm now 8+4 as they moved me up a day yesterday. You must be so relieved.

Tatted - good luck for your appointment. I'm not sure re scan, think it varies. Our booking in and 12 week scan is the same day but I know from this thread alone lots have separate booking in and scans. Hope it goes well :)

Back in work today after being off/working at home for a few weeks, DC1 decided 4.45 was a perfect time to get up. I am more than exhausted and haven't even been to work yet!

mrsmugoo · 18/11/2015 09:03

Good luck for your scan today nehagarg - will you post a picture??**
*
Beano* my sickness was at its worst at 9 weeks but stopped basically overnight at 10 weeks so fingers crossed it will ease off for you soon too.

bikingintherain · 18/11/2015 09:16

It's getting exciting isn't it? I'm 11+1 today and yesterday received our first gift for the baby from a friend from Canada who is visiting. We're not publishing on fb or anything now but are happy to let the gossip machine work its magic. We've had the scan so feel comfortable about letting people know.

I am however still feeling sick, I keep hoping to wake up one day and feel better but it's not happened yet!

Lovelybeano · 18/11/2015 09:41

Thanks emma your baby pic is beautiful!!
I do hope so mrsmugoo it is at its worst, I've done the school run with lots of deep breathing, I have to go to work now and put the smiley beautician face on while I feel like a rats arse lol
Good luck for the scans neharg and snowflake looking forward to seeing the pics :)

nehagarg · 18/11/2015 09:44

Yes Betty - Me and Snowflake are the first. I got pushed back 3 days during my early scan a few weeks ago, so my due date is end of May now.

Thanks for the wishes everyone. Will definitely post a picture mrsmugoo all going well. Smile

thanks dolly - dont think she is managing at all. Bit difficult when this happens and your right arm is already paralysed. I will go straight back to Oxford after my scan and talk to my boss about working feom home until the beginning of december. Hopefully, he'll agree. If not, i have holiday days left and I'll take them all.

Just got a call from the EPU for a scan today! Excited and nervous all in one, really thought I'd have to wait a while as my symptoms are so minor. Wish us luck xx

BiffleRoo · 18/11/2015 10:38

DD is off school today and bored so have sent her downstairs to bake some cheese muffins Smile
