I had booking today too. Mw was lovely, really bubbly and chatty. She took my weight (BMI 27) AND we got all the paperwork filled out within 45mins. I won't see her again til 16 wks! I believe I will see the hospital team when I have my scan on 7th December.

Feels a bit more real now which sounds daft considering the massive boobs, severe nausea/sickness and constant exhaustion! Oh bed I can't wait to see you at 8:30 Grin

JoMalones · 12/11/2015 17:55

Lovely pic bravo!

I've been for reflexology today. With DD I had hyperemysis so I'm lucky this time it's only bad nausea and sicky type burps but I hate it!

17caterpillars1mouse · 12/11/2015 18:20

I ate a hole jar of pickled onions today. Is this the start of pregnancy cravings?

Also had a cry to DH about how long and unfair no scan until 12 weeks is as I just want to know baby bear is ok. Only 12 days to go but it just still seems so long.

mrsmugoo · 12/11/2015 18:22

I've found myself sniffing dishwasher tablets more than once - they smell so lemony! I've bought lemonade ice lollies in my shopping because I just craved lemonyness so much!

WineCheeseSleep · 12/11/2015 18:29

Congrats to those who have had good scans today, it's a great feeling seeing your baby!

I've been absolutely exhausted today but nausea hasn't been too bad. I feel a bit bad that we've had such a cbeebies heavy day but I was so tired!

MollieRos · 12/11/2015 18:33

beano lovely scan picture, glad it went well Smile And great news Guess as well that you had a good scan, though sorry you're feeling so rough!

mrsmugoo oh, the lemonyness- all I want is things that are juicy and sharp! I had spent a couple of weeks eating under-ripe plums, nibbling slices of lemon and drinking lemon in hot water, then this week I've discovered that actually what I want is oranges! So now I eat a couple of oranges cut into slices every evening... so good! Lemonade ice lollies though, that's a very good idea.

2 weeks exactly till my 12 week scan, I'm so impatient!

Juicy and sharp mmmm! But then when I actually eat any lovely citrusy things I feel all acid-refluxy and disappointed... Fruit smoothies with coconut milk seem do be working for me at the mo.
But mostly CARBS are the answer for me.
17 I applaud your pickle eating prowess!

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 12/11/2015 18:42

BabySocks · 12/11/2015 19:36

( I am also totally mad for ice lollies at the moment and often eat 2 in one sitting)

MollieRos · 12/11/2015 20:27

Really sorry to hear your news Mrsunsure Flowers

TattedPixie · 12/11/2015 20:42

Miracles, I'm almost 8 weeks. It happened again while I was at work, got so frustrated that I just sat in the cubicle and sobbed for a minute. Finally home and in bed, just had a naughty take away so I feel half human now

TattedPixie · 12/11/2015 20:53

Take care Mrsunsure, hopefully you have people around you at this tough time
Massive hugs from me Flowers

winterland · 12/11/2015 21:09

Can I join? Baby no. 4 due 14th June roughly. First since a mc so I'm very nervous. Excited for number 4. That's it though!

emma85x · 12/11/2015 21:11

I had my booking appointment today. Lovely midwife. I told her that I didn't really have many symptoms and she said that's completely normal but then followed on by asking how many pregnancy tests I'd done! (3!) Can't book 12 week scan and blood tests for another week, when I'll be 10 weeks as going to a different hospital due to thyroid issues. After such sad news on here this week I think the reassurance scan is a must. Can't cope with all this worrying, especially with very few symptoms (just tiredness, hunger and constipation) Sorry for the rant. This thread has really made me think Confused

emma85x · 12/11/2015 21:12

*cope

TattedPixie · 12/11/2015 21:20

Emma, how did you set up a reassurance scan? I'm in the same boat as you, not many symptoms (nausea, tired, constantly hungry, pain). It's my first pregnancy so want to know my lil bean is ok

Lovelybeano · 12/11/2015 21:22

emma I didn't have any symptoms with dd, a bit more tired and emotional than usual but that was it, appetite didn't change, I went off chocolate but that was later on when the heartburn kicked in, my pregnancy with ds I was ill most nights up till about 22 weeks and couldn't stand smells, this time around it's the tiredness that's got me the most and the scare with the bleed at the beginning of the week. What I'm trying to show is every pregnancy is very different, don't worry yourself, if it wasn't for my bleed I would've happily waited until my 12 week scan like I did with my other 2. Consider yourself as one of the luckier ones and relax :) xxxxx
