I'm also feeling a bit better, what a relief! Was feeling awful for a week and a half but today and yesterday it's been like the morning sickness in my last pregnancy - not constant and fairly manageable if I eat the right food at the right time. I'm going to enjoy it while I can in case it comes back!

MindfulBear I've also blamed my being "ill" on DS bringing lurgies home from nursery...it's "that time of year" don't you know!

Sickness has thankfully fucked off but heartburn has stayed for the after party. Bone aching tiredness actually feels worse. Or maybe just now I'm not constantly spewing I'm noticing it more? Was practically falling asleep at my desk by 3pm today and am waiting for the click to tick 8pm as an acceptable bedtime!

Had a nightmare of going to the 12 week scan and they told me there was no baby and never had been. I know this won't happen, but 12 week scan can't come quick enough to reassure me everything is ok. Baby bear tries with the constant morning sickness letting me know he she is there though lol

I'm 10 + 2 and scan is exactly on 12 weeks so less than two weeks to go

Well I've had a few days of feeling human again but yesterday the nausea and sickness hit me like a ton of bricks and then it seemed to bring with it a horrendous migraine. I've been sick throughout the night and feel vile again this morning.
We have our own business and I really need to get to the office today but every time I move the nausea hits me again.
Moan over blueurgh!

How had I forgotten about the horridly vivid dreams I get while pg? In that half awake fog immediately following an awful dream about DH cheating I went mental at him (it was 4am) luckily he remembered about my nasty dreams whilst pg, gave me a hug and told me to stop being a twat!!

Lol biffle that's exactly what my dh would say!!!

Sorry to hear the evil nausea has made a reappearance Lex. We have our own business too which had been a godsend because as office manager I can just swan in and out as I please which has been handy throughout ms!

I really need to be at work to do some invoicing otherwise we won't be getting any money in and there's nobody else that does it!!

I used to be the only one to send out invoices but then we took on someone in my last maternity leave who's amazing on sage and now she does them all! In fact after this maternity leave I'll have pretty much managed myself out of the business and seriously considering getting a full time job back in marketing like I used to do - I would earn a lot more!!

Sadly we are not quite big enough to warrant someone else at the moment and actually I'll have to continue to juggle it once bubba arrives. I need to set myself up so that I can work from home too. I think it will be about easier once we reveal my pregnancy to our business partner but we're going to wait until 12 weeks for that.

In fact the 'reveal' is something we are not relishing as mr obsessed has an alcoholic ex who is a very tricky cow and a 15 yr old sort of step son (his ex's boy, mr obsessed has been like dad for 13yrs as birth father not interested) and they are having a horrendous time with his birth father suddenly now wanting part of 15 yr olds life which is causing 15yr old to go completely off the rails. All in all our happy news is probably going to rock a few boats and mr obsessed is dreading the backlash X

Awww no, sorry to hear you've got all that on your plate :(

We've told my DH's business partner already, I had to really with the sickness. But also he's my DS's godfather and so as close as family really.

Oh god, the alco ex sounds a nightmare lex. Just do the reveal when you are ready.
I'm going to tell my boss the day before the 12 week scan so he'll be prepared if the worst happens. I'm sure people have probably guessed as I have a bit of a bump but are too worried of asking incase I've just put on a few pounds :)

My little body invader is fine thank goodness, measuring a teeny 2cm, dating at 8 + a couple of days (didn't actually give me exact days but my dates are 8+4) . I have, however got a bleed in the womb, its nowhere near baby however I may bleed more, if so they want to see me again, a little bit worrying but she didn't seem overly concerned, explained it as an implantation bleed, but I thought that normally occurs a lot earlier ? Anyone had any experience with this ? Xx

Gorgeous scan beano. Glad everything is ok. I had my flu jab earlier today and feel rough as anything. Nausea keeps rearing it's ugly head, almost had my first bout of sickness but just ended up as a burp lol.

Congrats beano, that's a lovely image! Yes, with DS I had blood in the womb. Bled for one day at 14 weeks and that was it. No complications.

That keeps happening to me pixie so annoying isn't it. How far are you? I'm 7+1 it almost feels like if I'm sick then I'll feel better but no sick just burp and doesn't quite have the same effect.

I also succumbed and have had a reassurance scan in the past few days. I just couldn't face having my booking appt not knowing if it was all fine.

Anyway am pleased to report there is a 9 week blob with a heartbeat. Whoop. Had booking today too. Midwife was lovely, and had the usual bloods and paperwork-fest. Am being referred to the hospital because of thyroid issues and a tricky birth last time.

Meanwhile I feel rough as a badger, and could sleep for a whole week. No actual sickness, thank goodness, but I am keen for the blooming phase.
