Glad things are going well for you Harley

WineCheeseSleep · 10/11/2015 17:30

So sorry Maud. I hope you can get some company before your OH comes home Flowers

Rose2806 · 10/11/2015 17:38

So sorry to hear your news Maud, really hope someone is there with you very soon xxx

Sliceoflemon if it continues I would probably go back to the doctors or epu, hope you are ok. All this worry sucks!

I had just a few drops of blood tinged watery discharge yesterday, but it's been normal since. Has anyone else experienced that? Getting the odd cramp or mild pain/stretching feeling but nothing major and saw a heart beat a week ago, so am going to wait for now and see what happens. I'm 8 weeks today.

Am supposed to be going to a conference 4 hours away tomorrow and staying for 2 nights, was really wanting to go but with all the nausea and tiredness not sure if I will be up for it :-(

MollieRos · 10/11/2015 17:52

Maud I'm so sorry to hear your news. I hope you're cosy and comfy at home this evening. Good that your mum and sisters can support you while your DH is away. Flowers

Lovelybeano · 10/11/2015 17:53

I wonder whether spotting is common at around the 8 week mark, It seems a lot of us are experiencing the same xx
Glad all is going for you harley

BiffleRoo · 10/11/2015 17:53

maud I'm so sorry to hear about your awful news. Hope someone is with you now Thanks

MaudGonneMad · 10/11/2015 18:13

Thanks everyone for kind words and sympathy. It does mean a lot Flowers

My family are all in a different country, unfortunately. But I'm not doing too badly - have had no heavy bleeding at all and the pain is tapering off. Just feel a bit wiped out but I think that's probably down to emotions. Just can't believe that I've miscarried twice in a row, within the space of three months. That is very hard to take. Sad

DH will be home tomorrow and we will take it from there re management etc.

I'll probably leave this thread now, but just to reiterate my best wishes for healthy outcomes for one and all.

Louise34567 · 10/11/2015 18:22

So so sorry Maud .

Lovelybeano · 10/11/2015 18:24

HarleyQuinn90 · 10/11/2015 18:28

With regards to everyone spotting, I spotted with all 3 of my dcs, haven't yet with this one but I'm waiting for it, with my first it was more than once in the earlyish stages but I didn't find out I was expecting until 18 weeksBlush so please do not worry too much xx

HarleyQuinn90 · 10/11/2015 18:32

Forgot to add, at the scan today she said I have a few cysts on my left ovary, she said its nothing to worry about and that they might disappear but to mention it at my 12 week scan, has anyone had experience of this?

SliceofLemon · 10/11/2015 18:42

Thanks for your help dolly and rose. I haven't contacted anyone about the latest spotting as I only had a scan 10 days ago and the midwife did say it may continue/reappear. I'm going with the if it continues then I'll ring the midwife. It's definitely less today than yesterday. But yes it is a bit of a worry. Still got awful nausea and twingey pains. Do we think this is an indication things are still on track?

I was also thinking 8 weeks seems to be popular for spotting!

Snowflake16 · 10/11/2015 18:43

So sorry to hear your news maud take care of yourself Flowers

GrubbyWindows · 10/11/2015 18:46

Re spotting at 8 weeks- some people get it then because that is when a period would have fallen. I always get upset stomachs on my period and just twigged that that's prob why I have one today- I'm 9 weeks, but have long cycles...
Oh the delights. Just off to a work do, can't really be arsed.

laughingGnomette · 10/11/2015 18:46

Take care maud xx

Harley - I'm not very knowledgeable but at a scan I had in July they spotted a cyst on my right ovary and in my more recent scan last month they said it had gone and I now had one on my left ovary! They didn't seem too worried about them though.... I'm not sure if I should be! Hmm sorry I can't be more helpful!

laughingGnomette · 10/11/2015 18:48

Ah yes! Good point Grubby

Lovelybeano · 10/11/2015 18:56

Glad it's calming for you sliceoflemon , maybe ring the midwife just to keep them informed ? They may not offer a scan but it'll be kept on record for you xx
I've had no more spotting today but feel rubbish, I still can't decide whether to work tomorrow or not, I may try and swap my clients to Friday and Saturday so I can have tomorrow & Thursday off but I know I'll just worry all day xx

GrubbyWindows · 10/11/2015 19:06

Ugh beano I know what you mean re worrying if you are not working, there's no winning, is there!
If you are feeling totally rubbish some time off might be worth it though- did you manage to rest today? If you did then you could prob use more rest! Could you loll in front of lovely movies to keep your mind off things?

Betty79 · 10/11/2015 19:14

Harley I had a private scan on Saturday and she showed us there was a cyst, although she didn't say it was on my ovaries she said it should just go away on its own and to mention it at 12 weeks scan if I want to but it may well have gone away by then. She did ask if I've been getting pain as she said it can cause some, I've had some cramping on and off and twinges.

I've felt surprising half human today although I feel a bit nauseous now, seems to be worse it evenings tho. Haven't felt exhausted today tho, I'm really hoping this is a start of symptoms easing!

MadrigalElectromotive · 10/11/2015 19:38

Maud if you are still reading I wanted to send you my good wishes. I hope that you will have someone with you soon, and keeping everything crossed for a sticky one for you soon.

I am much improved on the hyperemesis front although still struggling with nausea and lack of appetite. Hate taking the antiemetics, but can't keep going into hospital so don't have much choice really.

Hope everyone else is ok.

dollydaydream84 · 10/11/2015 20:16

HarleyQuinn90 hope your abscess is better.I had one last pregnancy, PAIN!! I did have a cyst when not pregnant, had no pain and it vanished, they just noticed it when scanning for something else. Worth mentioning as they will prob check it on the scan for you, hopefully it just goes. I don't know if it is different when pregnant but basically as long as it isn't causing pain I think it is fine.

All the best maud xxx Flowers

SliceofLemon the nausea does sound like a good sign as much as it is a nuisance! I just couldn't rest with the spotting so went back each time. 8 weeks is common I think, I often wonder if its to do with the fact it should be when your 2nd missed period is due? Who knows!

Madrigal glad you are feeling a bit better x

I am soooooo tired this time, didn't feel like this last time but had iron/folic acid last time and just on folic acid this time - perhaps I need some iron? Also feeling irrationally irritable and hoping this goes away soon. Sickness is back but still slightly improved on last week (don't speak too soon!)

HarleyQuinn90 · 10/11/2015 20:22

Thanks for the replies, I haven't had pain although if I move fast I get a sort of shooting twinge (wouldn't call it a pain) which disappears as quickly as it came, not sure if that's to do with cyst or just pregnancy lol.
I think I'll just put it to the back of my mind until 10 December xx

dollydaydream84 · 10/11/2015 20:27

HarleyQuinn shooting pain sounds like ligament pain, they get worse turning over in bed at night as time goes one! The joys :) I am a total worrier about everything but if they said I had a cyst, I wouldn't worry having experienced one in the past. My scan date is one day after yours :) Almost down to 4 week countdown!

Lovelybeano · 10/11/2015 20:42

Thanks grubby I think I'm going to play it by ear and see how I feel in the morning , the only drawback to being self employed is that if I don't work, I don't get paid, unfortunately whether I'm poorly or not, the bills still need to be paid Smile fingers crosse tomorrow is a better day x x
