Oh Maud that's just awful, such sad news. Huge un-mumsnetty virtual hugs, and I so hope you're getting real hugs from someone too, whilst your OH is away.
I know that if any of my friends rang to say that had just happened, I'd find a way to be there- I'm certain yours would too. It's hard to ask for support sometimes, but so important.

DH is coming home tomorrow evening. I've phoned my mum, and she is going to ring round to my sisters.

My two closest friends in this city are both away for a few days unfortunately. But I've been to the shops for supplies, think I'm just going to hide up in bed for the day.

So sad to hear that Maud my eyes are welling up for you!
I don't know what to do now, I'm spotting for the second time.

Can someone tell me that cramping is normal with pregnancy. Had really bad cramps all day, still getting pains in my hips and feel as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Roll on 4.20 and my doctor appointment

SliceofLemon - Have you been to the doctors? I went every time I had spotting with my last pregnancy (4 times including red) and they sent me for a scan for reassurance. Never found out what caused it but everything was fine. Hugs, it is horrid horrid x

TattedPixie - It can be yes, ligaments moving around a lot. If it feels severe, mention it to the GP :)

New tablets are OK, utterly spent though just slept for 4 hrs - have told work I won't be in this week (self certification) I've only been sick once since I started them, seems that i can't eat in between tablets just immediately afterwards so no snacks for me

Tattedpixie I had pain in my hips last time and I was told it was most likely because your body is flooded with the hormone relaxin that allows everything to stretch and accommodate and that can sometimes mean you have joint pain.

I'm so sorry maud life is so cruel.

I haven't been on for a while as I've not been feeling well had an abscess on my gum and been super busy with my aunties wedding.

I had my booking in appointment last Thursday, midwife is lovely and I had my reassurance scan today I was going to post the pic but it doesn't feel right
