Still not sure whether I should travel tomorrow or not. Spotting seems to have stopped (since about 3pm), although I did have one long stringy black clot-like thing. Haven't had enough spotting/bleeding to even fill one panty-liner in total, doesn't stop me fearing the worst though.

How far have you got to go Maud? Is it for work? If you don't feel up to it, don't go xx hugs it is absolutely horrible xx

WineCheeseSleep · 09/11/2015 20:13

Sorry to hear I have so many fellow sickness sufferers on this thread. I'm really struggling with it, it's much worse than my first pregnancy and I'm feeling pretty miserable to be honest. I'm only 7+3 so worried how much of it I have ahead of me, especially considering work. Ugh, I'm feeling so sorry for myself!

MollieRos · 09/11/2015 20:21

Welcome to the new people Smile

Catlover I'm also eating constantly (which is perhaps why I now have a big belly and can't fit into y jeans any more, even though I'm only 10 weeks!), I'm mostly craving fresh/juicy things so lots of fruit. Also salty things too though, which isn't so good! I basically eat all day!

Torfhinn I was just coming on here to say the same! I'm 10+2 and today has been the first day in ages I'm not exhausted by mid afternoon. i'm still feeling nauseous, but it's so much easier to deal with now I don't feel so shattered. Fingers crossed it continues.

Positive thoughts to people with spotting/discharge/other worries.

MaudGonneMad · 09/11/2015 20:22

It's about a 4 hour journey by train. For work, yes, but also something which benefits my career, so I would have liked to go.

Just had some bright red blood, so I am now preparing for the worst. Phoned the EPU again, and have a scan at 9.15 tomorrow morning. DH is away until Thursday which makes everything feel worse.

Oh Maud that's so stressful! Grim that you're on your own dealing with it too!
Thinking lots of good thoughts for you- it's still likely to be be totally fine, but thank goodness you've got the early scan tomorrow. Can a friend go with you? It's hard to take in all the info on your own, especially when it's all so emotionally charged.

Louise34567 · 09/11/2015 21:12

Maud hope all is alright.

Mollie I know what you mean re: eating way more than normal. I am currently craving cheese and tomato sandwiches... and have been craving these so much recently. Meal? Forget it. Sandwich? Oh yes yes yes. They don't really agree with my skin but I can't help it ... when the craving's there, the craving's there!

Osirus · 09/11/2015 22:13

I've been suffering with sickness (although not actually throwing up - yet!) and it's set off by some very odd things - a few days ago it was teabags! I could drink it but I couldn't make it without heaving. My symptoms seem to come in 48 hour cycles but the sickness is here until early evening. I had so many ginger biscuits this morning!

WineCheeseSleep · 09/11/2015 22:24

Fingers crossed for you Maud, it's good you got such a quick scan.

MaudGonneMad · 09/11/2015 22:32

I know, I was lucky - there'd been a cancellation just before I phoned up and I happened to get speaking to the nice woman who looked after me the last time. She remembered me with my strong Irish accent.

Thanks to everyone for your good wishes Flowers Will be pretty gutting to have 2 miscarriages in a row, if that is the case. Thought the odds were firmly against that.

JellyBaby26 · 10/11/2015 06:57

Thinking of you Maud Flowers

Fingers and legs crossed everything is ok.

obsessedlex · 10/11/2015 07:31

Sending you positive thoughts maude and big hugs X

Mrspopper · 10/11/2015 07:39

I haven't posted in a while. Been a bit shit here. DD has had to have some genetic tests and I've been advised to have amnio with this baby. I'm also so sick. Between sickness and stress my boss has suggested I go to dr and get signed off work for a bit. Guess it's a good idea. Ugh.

Lovelybeano · 10/11/2015 07:42

Oh has just taken the kids to breakfast club, they haven't been before, I feel awful putting them in there but I've got a raging temperature and feeling pretty rubbish. I had more spotting last night and I've got back ache this morning Sad I'm just going to rest today. Luckily I have the day off but may have to cancel clients tomorrow depending on how I feel xx absolutely gutted xx

carrie1008 · 10/11/2015 08:37

Be thinking of you today Maud Flowers

mrsmugoo · 10/11/2015 08:40

Fingers crossed for you Maud Thanks

Actually feeling pretty good today! I've just eaten breakfast and done the nursery run and now off to work. Actually looking forward to going to work to get out of the house and I'm going to go out for lunch so I can have my first proper meal in over a week!

nehagarg · 10/11/2015 08:42

Thinking of you Maud. Everything firmly crossed that its nothing.

bikingintherain · 10/11/2015 09:22

Good luck maud hope everything is fine and they can work out what's going on.

Sorry things are so difficult mrspopper, it sounds like your boss is being supportive at least. Hope things start to look up a bit soon.

And big hugs to you too beano, the backache could just be part of the virus you have. Paracetamol and rest, even if you have to cancel appointments tomorrow just try and look after yourself.

mrsmugoo I'm also feeling a little better the last day or so, DH hasn't got appointments over lunch so am going to try to persuade him to take me and DS out for lunch. (I suppose less taking out, more persuading him that spending money on such frivolous things as lunch out is a good idea!)

Torfhinn · 10/11/2015 09:47

I'm sorry you have so much worry Maud, fx for your scan

Sorry you are having such a rough time Mrspopper, I hope some rest helps

Beano, fever and backache could be urine/kidney infection - have you had your wee tested?

On a lighter note, DS just made me put his shoes on while he was in a downward dog yoga position. Tricky Hmm

TattedPixie · 10/11/2015 10:43

Morning ladies. My nausea hit me for 6 this morning, as soon as. I woke up, it smacked me in the face. Still laid in bed, it's eased off but got pain in my back and hip. Luckily I've got doctors today so I can tell him.
Hope everyone is feeling better today, hugs to everyone feeling crappy

cautiousoptimist1 · 10/11/2015 10:55

Thinking of you today Maud, hope all is well xx

Lovelybeano · 10/11/2015 11:01

Hope your scans gone ok Maud Flowers

MaudGonneMad · 10/11/2015 11:17

Thanks everyone.

There was no heartbeat. It seems the baby died shortly after the last scan - the little thing had even shrunk a bit.

Just devestated.
