Aww maud that must be so frustrating, i haven't even told oh yet because I want to be able to reassure him that the scans booked, wish the doc would hurry up xx

Violet88 · 09/11/2015 10:29

Lovely what did they say about the anti D? I'm also rhesus negative and had bleeding last week, didn't know anything about this? Hope you are ok and its just a false alarm x

Lovelybeano · 09/11/2015 10:35

They don't give anti d until after 12 weeks violet whether you have bleeding or not :)

nehagarg · 09/11/2015 10:40

Hey Carrie .. I saw it as blank too .. Checked revision history and it looks like someone tried to make a change yesterday but accidentally deleted the whole thing. I have restored the version before that. Should be okay now ...

Good luck with your scans lovely and maud ... Fingers crossed its nothing. I have had a brown discharge a couple of times too and it was nothing.

I don't have a scan, unfortunately Sad. But thanks for good wishes Smile
Trying to stay positive and get on with working from home today. Just waved DH off for the week, he works away, so I'll be dealing with whatever comes by myself.

mrsmugoo · 09/11/2015 10:48

Morning all, I'm feeling SO much better today!! Oh my god things were hairy for a while, I was really worried if they had carried on like that I would have ended up in hospital but yesterday was better, I slept much better and today I actually don't feel nauseous! I've even, shock horror, got an appetite and just eaten lovely poached eggs on potato waffles and I feel human!

I really hope this is me out of the woods now.

mrsmugoo · 09/11/2015 10:50

Nehagarg - headaches around the start of the second trimester are common. I had them from about 15 to 18 weeks last time and it was awful. Pregnancy is just one thing after another!!

dollydaydream84 · 09/11/2015 11:09

Hello could I join you all please? I am 7+1 edd 26/06/16 with DC2. I am worrying slightly as nausea has subsided slightly in the last couple of days (didn't last time) though tiredness still very much there. Such a worry! Might pay for an early scan at 8 weeks to try and reassure me. Hope all are well.

nehagarg · 09/11/2015 11:17

You said it, mrsmugoo ... So far I dont get the whole, "I love being pregnant" vibe. Maybe in a few weeks? There is an interesting thread on the pregnancy forum about when people started loving their babies. I read that and thought - phew!

Really hope I dont get too many headaches. I am one of those people who cannot sit and relax. Not being able to read or watch TV or do anything else while I have a headache, really drives me mental.

Welcome Dolly ... Pregnancy symptoms are usually all over the place and never same from one pregnancy to another but if a scan will reassure you, definitely go for it Smile .. Congratulations.

Hi to all you lovely ladies!

Ive been reading all of your posts..Im not exactly sure how far along I am but I think I'm 7 weeks...We have midwife appointment next Tues and hopefully scan soon after that.....

I did post last week in the pregnancy section about eating loads & nausea..OMG!!
As of yet I don't have the tiredness that many of you talk about it..yes Im more tired than normal but the nausea is just AWFUL.
The only thing that helps it is eating. Ive had it with a week now. I did manage my soon class this morn just about!!

so far today I have had
2 weetabix (3am this morn..yes I know!!)
Bfast 2 toast scrambled egg
snack a jacks
scone
Ive a lovely cheese sandwich for lunch!

This is our first baby and we are delighted but finding it hard with all this sickness and eating. I'm usually such a gym bunny and I love to eat healthy.
We have friends over this wend and we aren't really ready to share our news yet so it will be very hard to hide sickness and not drinking.Everyone knows I love a drink or two!
They are staying with us from Fri until Sun eve. Love them to bits but I hope you ladies know what I mean it will be a long weekend.
Jeans are also starting to get tight ahhhh!

Sorry If I sound moany. Im really happy..HONESTLY.
Have a lovely non sick tired Monday!!
xx

Dollydaydream

I don't think everyone gets symptoms so them going away may just mean you are one of the lucky ones.
Saying that I do understand your worry as I was worried when I had no symptoms!Does the worry ever end??!
Perhaps having an early scan will ease your mind.
Maybe one of the other mammies/mammies to be here may be able to advise you.
I wish you well!

mrsmugoo · 09/11/2015 11:45

I had no symptoms my entire 1st trimester last time and yet this time have had severe sickness. Who knows how this crazy body works but reproduction really is quite magical!

mrsmugoo · 09/11/2015 11:47

Catlover just keep eating and embrace it! I've had 2 weeks of not even being able eat and I was fading away with no energy from that so if you can eat just crack on!

Eventually the bump squashes your insides and eating becomes a challenge anyway!

MaudGonneMad · 09/11/2015 11:51

Does anyone know how much blood there is with a 1cm haematoma?

I was told I had one at my scan 10 days ago, just wondering if that might account for the brownish bleeding I've been having.

laughingGnomette · 09/11/2015 11:57

I've found my symptoms are coming and going in cycles every couple of days. I'm 9 weeks today.

I've been battling with headaches too. Paracetamol does nothing, the only thing that helps is caffeine which is a bit of a pregnancy no no but I've had to have a couple of strong coffees to get me through.

Catlover - hi! I'm not sure what you normally drink but could you buy non alcoholic versions or fail to add spirits to mixers for your drinks and make them yourself discreetly? It might be tricky at a dinner table though!!

Hugs to those having spotting. The fact that it is common in early pregnancy is not much of a comfort when it is happening to you xx

GrubbyWindows · 09/11/2015 13:02

laughing a couple of strong coffees is fine! The limit is 200-300mg of caffeine, which is two or three espressos.
In Italy they only tell you to cut down if you have 4+ a day, and they specifically tell you to have a coffee for headaches, even in pregnancy.
You also get a blood test to see if you can eat salami...

dollydaydream84 · 09/11/2015 13:14

Thanks for the welcome and reassuring messages. In answer - no the worry does not end :D A bit of the sickness is back this morning but food does seem to sort it out. Last time I basically lived on crackers and avacados and it turned out well :) The desire to eat does subside as you go through generally. An early scan would reassure me I think, but probably only for a day!

Maud - I don't know unfortunately but I had brownish bleeding last time and all was well xx hugs it is horrible though.

MaudGonneMad · 09/11/2015 13:15

Thanks Dolly and laughing Flowers

mrsmugoo · 09/11/2015 13:25

I miss coffee! I've gone right off it.

cautiousoptimist1 · 09/11/2015 13:35

Hi all,

Wow this thread moves so quickly. Welcome to all the new ladies.

Hugs to everyone still suffering, hope the second trimester looming is easier for you,

I've been really tired. I came home from work early on Thursday and went to bed for 2 hours, got up to make tea and then went back to bed for 10 hours. I felt loads better on Saturday morning and went for my flu jab but had my first sickness yesterday - and it came from nowhere, no pain or much warning! So I've now scared myself that this is the start of sickness and if it happens at work, I wouldn't make it to the loo! So I'm working from home today to see how it goes but so far so good, I guess it could have been a reaction to the flu jab?

Lovelybeano · 09/11/2015 13:36

Docs have just rang, bedrest and an early scan on Thursday Sad it's going to be a long week Xx

TattedPixie · 09/11/2015 15:02

Afternoon ladies. Hope you all aren't hugging toilet bowls because of sickness. My nausea has been hell these past 2 days. Only thing that seems to calm my stomach is skittles so I have stocked up. Got a doctor appointment tomorrow so will find out when I can see midwife and get a scan booked.
Excited and nervous at the same time

BiffleRoo · 09/11/2015 15:44

jelly I was the same with DS (not good when DH away all week) and same this time so I feel your pain. Not interested at all with my DDs ...

BiffleRoo · 09/11/2015 19:01

I've felt fantastic all day. Only low level nausea and not exhausted for once. I'm paying for it now though. Sooooo sick and just had to run to the loo at daughter's swim train ... Everyone heard me toss my dinner Blush

Torfhinn · 09/11/2015 19:20

10 weeks today! And I hesitate in saying it in case I jinx it... but I'm starting to feel better! I feel like I've come out of a long dark tunnel and it's wonderful. Still have the same list of symptoms but don't feel like I'm dying by 1pm every day. So there is hope ladies!
