Just thought I'd share my 'bloated' look, even my loose tops are starting to grab hold of it! I'm hoping to keep this underwraps until Xmas, fingers crossed the belly won't grow too much more before then eeekkk my tummy is usually ok, never been perfectly flat since having the kids, but flatish. Smothering myself in tummy butter twice a day now in preparation for the 'beached whale' look haha

Lovely scan pic jelly Smile

mrslewis2015 · 03/11/2015 21:43

Cute little bump you've got there beano! I've deffo got a little blump but that's what my IBS does, so I always look about 4-5 months gone by the end of the day, hard to know where IBS stops and bump starts, can't wait to really know the difference! Second you on the body butter, just made some with equal parts coconut oil, Shea and cocoa butter... Lush!

SliceofLemon · 03/11/2015 22:56

Try not to worry violet I've had exactly the same type of discharge and scan was all ok. If you've already had scan you know it's not ectopic so you may as well sit it out for a bit. If it doesn't clear up in a few days they would probably scan you if you wanted reassurance!

Scan at 7 weeks was external.

First day of feeling grim with nausea today, joy!

Lellana · 03/11/2015 23:51

Hello! I've just joined this group. I'm due on 16 June. I've only had an appt with my GP, no scan or midwife appt yet. I think I'm just 8wks. Feeling very nervous as this is baby no 1. Cannot eat anything other than carbs and choc. Can anyone recommend something semi healthy?

Lovelybeano · 04/11/2015 06:33

Thanks mrslewis , I've lost weight and gained a belly, I must carry a lot of fluid, it obviously can't be baby, they are still tiny tiny, even with my 1st I bought maternity bottoms from about 10-11 weeks. My oh keeps rubbing it saying 'this bump of yours is coming on nicely' lol I just hope other people don't notice or think I've just put on weight :) I never thought of doing my own butter, I bought some palmers, it smells lush xx

Lovelybeano · 04/11/2015 06:36

Hi lellana , I've been keeping fruit pots in the fridge, ryvitas & snack a jacks, stops me from grabbing the crisps which I seem to be wanting all the time xx

jbiscuits · 04/11/2015 07:08

Hi ladies, sorry I've been awol. We've been away on holiday followed by my mum coming to visit, so haven't had much chance to MN! DS seems to be having a lie in this morning though, so I'm taking the opportunity.

Lovely to see all the scan pics. I've got my booking in appointment today, so will hopefully have a scan date by the end of the morning Smile I'm 10w today, so hopefully it won't be too long to wait either!

iamdivergent · 04/11/2015 07:29

That's me just given up and put on jogging for a bit of stretch! I hate them normally but so much comfier! I can't decide if this is a little bump or just fat haha. 7 weeks today and bud is the size of a small raspberry.

I don't feel pg anymore. No nausea, no sickness. Left boob still agony but right one fine. Bleeding stopped but lots of pain/discomfort. What will be, will be. Can't change the outcome just have to wait and see what scan shows tomorrow.

nehagarg · 04/11/2015 08:08

Fingers crossed biffle. Take care of yourself. Hopefully you'll see a little bean jumping around in there. Hugs. Flowers

I use the same thing mrslewis. Its a brilliant recipe and smells divine. Though adding a few of drops of orange, tea treee or sage oil gives out an amazing smell too.

Just catching up with everyone!

Sorry to hear of your worry Biffle Thanks

I love the bump pictures ladies! I'm exactly the same, I didn't want to buy maternity stuff for another few weeks but...

Went to the doctors yesterday and I've been signed off work for a week! If I'm not being sick or heaving I'm falling asleep. She's signed me off with extreme fatigue as she thinks that's what's making my sickness worse Sad

TattedPixie · 04/11/2015 08:52

Good morning ladies and I hope you are all feeling ok. Hopefully not too much sickness and nausea for everyone. I've had bad nausea for the past 2 days, only thing that's making me feel vaguely human is gummi sweets and Apple juice.
I've turned into a bloat monster, I'm 7 weeks on Saturday and already struggling to fit into some of my trousers. Luckily I live in leggings when at home.

becky140290 · 04/11/2015 09:03

Hey everyone :) loving all the scan pictures! I had my scan date through yesterday 8th dec! Last time we had an early scan but not this time. Bit nervous though as last time I had HG and so far this time I've only had mild sicky feelings.

17caterpillars1mouse · 04/11/2015 10:46

I fell over today at work :( Landed on me knee and twisted my ankle, but everything seems okay baby wise. No bleeding or anything but just feel panicked.

Have my booking appointment this afternoon so will mention it. Just feeling a bit down and guilty

Rose2806 · 04/11/2015 11:09

I fell over just before I found out I was pregnant and my first thought was if there is anything in there it will be gone now, but everything was fine and from the research I did they are very well cushioned especially at this stage, so try not to worry :-) hope your ankle feels better soon!

Anyone using the wristbands- how are you finding them? I bought the sea bands from Amazon as they were the fastest to be delivered and they are quite tight (even though I have small wrists) but I assume that is the idea? They are leaving a big fat mark on the pressure point, not sure if they are helping yet or not. Are you guys wearing them all day?

I feel so exhausted despite getting an early night last night.:-( Don't know how much to give in to it vs how much to force myself to do stuff

17caterpillars1mouse · 04/11/2015 11:17

Thanks Rose

I have been using the wristbands for two weeks, they are quite tight and also leave a circle on the pressure point on me. They start to hurt if I wear them all day, so I tend to wear that for 5 hours at work, then take them off for a bit and then wear them again in the evening. They are helping a bit, but aren't a miracle cure

Aki23 · 04/11/2015 12:10

Found out Monday I was 7 weeks gone with FB shock very happy now though. Due end of June 2016 but still waiting to see the doctor - they can fit me in next week! Good thing Im not actually ill.

Goodness, didn't realise there were 3 posts and managed to post on all of them!

mrslewis2015 · 04/11/2015 12:16

neharg yeah it's lovely isn't it, tho I'm thinking of wetting it down with almond oil for every day and adding some beeswax so it stays more solid and I can use it in the shower!

rose I wear mine all day and sometimes at night, they hurt but they help enough to be ok with it!

MagicDucky · 04/11/2015 12:49

Has anyone been anaemic during pregnancy? My doctor wants to check me for it as I've been so tired. I'm not sure how dangerous it is for baby?

Annie0369 · 04/11/2015 12:57

Morning everyone! So I've just fallen pregnant with my first & I think I'm 6 weeks today. at the moment I have no beast tenderness, no sickness, but I'm tired lots & have really bad headache. I also have a bit of left side tightening & am hungry all the time.

I have no idea what's normal and what's not, I'm a bit in shock that I'm pregnant as we managed to do it on our first attempt.

Got my first doctors appointment tomorrow. It all feels very surreal!

Looking forward to getting to know you all, fingers crossed we all have healthy little babies in June xx

BiffleRoo · 04/11/2015 13:37

magicducky I had anaemia with both DDs and it is extremely common in pg. They will just prescribe iron/ferrous sulphate tablets and monitor your blood. It isn't a problem for baby so don't worry. Just be prepared for serious constipation on iron tablets Blush

Rose2806 · 04/11/2015 14:28

Just had my 7 week scan and seen the heart beat! reminding me I'm feeling ill for a good reasonSmile

Lovelybeano · 04/11/2015 14:48

Aww that's fab rose xx
