Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 40th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 39th grads fred is HERE.

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Errrrm sky...definitely bonfire night! In awe of your culinary skills!

Sorry you're feeling down pretzel i actually ended up not exactly enjoying my gtt but certainly relishing the two hour enforced break. Books, magazines and TV programmes on iplayer or similar if you've got a tablet.

Thursday I'm feeling exactly the same, mine's 18 months and very much embracing being hat age. And he's a bloody climber with no fear. Have definitely been known to wail to DH that I'm being a crap mum at the moment but we'll come out the other side and they won't remember Flowers

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/11/2015 21:16

I am so silly! I thought it was the 4th today. That explains a lot!

Discofairypants · 05/11/2015 21:20

sky I've done exactly the same, been comforting dd and getting aggravated that people are setting them off so early haha! We ended up stood at the window watching them which helped, was quite nice too.

Congrats on the great scan news ladies! feathered you are due the day after me!

ThursdayLastWeek · 05/11/2015 21:22

Wise words molly, and thank you all for your kind words Smile

I deffo believe in letting it all out to feel better (and letting DH do bed time so you can pretend you don't have a kid for 5 mins)

5hell · 05/11/2015 22:07

Ha ha ...you lot have made me chuckle Grin and I didn't even mention the radioactivity it sounds much more exciting than it is unfortunately, although I'll take the image of a sexy scientist sky! :)

lildottie · 05/11/2015 22:20

Evening all. Yay for good scans sky and feathered

My scan kept me sane for all of 2days. Today I've started freaking out again. Roll on 12week scan!

My mums evil cat was cuddling up to me last night which is unheard of, hence the question. Wasn't interested tonight though, lol.

5hell intruiged and slightly scared by your job!

honeysucklejasmine · 05/11/2015 22:39

Sky my MIL taught me how to make deviled eggs. I do like them, but my DH and BILs love them, so it was pretty annoying to spend ages peeling arsing eggs only to watch them all get snapped up as the boys walked past, before dinner was even ready. Grrr.

Feathered fantastic scan news! Congratulations!

I always think the jump from ~8 week scan picture to 12 weeks is incredible! It goes from a little blob to an actual human, amazing!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/11/2015 23:06

I used too much Franks Hot Sauce this time honey but I am pretty sure I am the only one who'll eat them and I love Franks Grin

Just waiting up for DP to come home admiring baby's first outfit... Will post in a sec. Lost the link!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/11/2015 23:08

Here it is Petit Bateau Russian Doll Babygro

honeysucklejasmine · 05/11/2015 23:51

Sky that is so beautiful but I am still do jealous that you know and I don't! I want a cute little Russian doll babygro! Or a cute little dinosaur one!

And I know, girls can wear dinosaur print. But just for one day, I'd like them in an outfit that is unmistakably for a boy or a girl.

Come on, 28 week scan. I don't even mind that my GTT is right before the scan.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/11/2015 23:55

honey I'm sorry! I didn't mean to rub it in! I am glad for you you get a scan at 28 weeks! It feels weird knowing and knowing there's so much more to go. At least when you find out you won't have to wait so long!

oneyorkshirepud · 06/11/2015 07:15

Morning Viroids, controversial post warning:

Last night I threw Peter (Andre, The Preggo Pillow) on the floor..... and had the best night's sleep that I have had in months! Can't believe it! I don't think this is the end of mine and Peter's time together, I think we just need a break. Absence makes that heart grow fonder etc...

honeysucklejasmine · 06/11/2015 07:33

Lol don't worry Sky, I don't begrudge you. I'm just miffed for me. If that makes sense?!

My bump is sore tonight. And my butt. Think baby is pushing right on down, making me feel like I need to do a massive crap when I don't. Ok, I know that sounds like I am having the urge to push... I am not. Don't worry. It's just all a bit tender. Come on baby, move! Tempted to go leam forward for an hour or so and encourage it to shift.

honeysucklejasmine · 06/11/2015 07:34

I wrote that last night but only just pressed post. Blush

CountryGal4 · 06/11/2015 07:42

Honey mine shifted like 4 days ago into that position. It's really uncomfortable and made me feel really heavy thankfully he moved again yesterday!

Jcandy · 06/11/2015 07:46

Soooo....... It's my last day of work today before mat leave!!
Maybe I'll actually get chance to talk to you lot soon instead of just working and sleeping the whole time!!!!

pretzelpieces · 06/11/2015 08:52

honey Flowers that sounds uncomfortable!

jc yay! I know it has been so tough at work so you should be really proud! Put yer feet up as soon as you can.

Well I am at the hospital. Cottoned on and only waited in the wrong waiting room for about ten minutes today. They are useless! I have had one lot of blood taken and drank the lucozade (that I had to provide myself). They took my 28 week bloods as well which is handy. I am sweating away with a rotten cold trying not to infect anyone. Would like to go somewhere cooler but the mh midwives said they'd pop along and see me so I don't want to wander off. Sorry for the essay!

pretzelpieces · 06/11/2015 10:28

Sorry for live posting my gtt, but I feel so weird and ill! Well I've got 20 more minutes to wait until my second blood test and no sign of the mh midwives so far...

jellypi3 · 06/11/2015 10:31

:( pret the GTT is horrible. Have you got a book to take your mind off it

5hell · 06/11/2015 10:31

good luck with the gtt pretz and hope the mh mws are nice and/or helpful

honeysucklejasmine · 06/11/2015 11:41

Yay JC! WELL DONE!

Pretzel sorry its a miserable morning for you. Hopefully it's over soon.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 06/11/2015 11:50

Good luck with the gtt pretz. You have my utmost sympathies. For me personally, the gtt was the worst experience of my entire pregnancy so far (we get three tests not two here, not sure how it works back in the uk). I wasn't even allowed water in between any of my tests - is it the same for you?

I think the feeling hot thing is partly down to the body going "what the fuck is happening" and maybe stress. Don't feel shy about telling someone you need to lie down if you start feeling any worse.

pretzelpieces · 06/11/2015 12:51

Thanks everyone! I didn't faint or anything so that's good. Was too tired to read or watch iplayer, ended up staring into space!

Mh midwives apparently completely forgot about me, I had to nag the person who took my second blood and then wait around after to see them. They're going to give me another scan at the start of December so that's nice, wasn't expecting to have another one.

Finally home, nearly got run over by some fuckwit in a van who suddenly decided to reverse! I'm so angry! Such a grumpy chops I'm sorry.

So glad the gtt is over. It was just two bloods taken gouda, a fasting one and then two hours after the gross lucozade. I'm to phone for results on Monday.

Staying on the sofa for the rest of the day with a blanket and my rapidly dwindling supply of balmy tissues. Humph!

Forgot to add, I was allowed sips of water gouda, can't believe you weren't, you poor thing. Flowers
