Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 40th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 39th grads fred is HERE.

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Sadly not Lil - not for another 49.5 hours sadly! Although I did get a dildocam two weeks ago and things looked fine then. Just hope they've continued.

Lovely lovely news for you, such a feeling seeing a flickering heartbeat!

KateBeckett · 03/11/2015 12:50

Yay that's fab lil !

So, I'm still getting weird non painful pains low down on one side... Considering going to the walk in clinic at my doctors this afternoon, but df doesn't think they'll be able to do anything to reassure me... Don't know whether to just go and see, or wait until my 8 week appointment and ask the midwife. Sad

FeatheredTail · 03/11/2015 12:56

Kate if you can, why not pop to your local Early Pregnancy Unit if you are worried? You'll be able to see a nurse, a doctor and possible get a scan too they think it's necessary. That said, it sounds like it could be pretty normal. When I went to the EPU a couple of weeks ago, they said as long as I didn't have period like pains, then it wasn't a concern.

FeatheredTail · 03/11/2015 12:56

Fruit I've developed something of a problem with cheese strings....

CountryGal4 · 03/11/2015 13:05

Think I have a migraine. Got a banging head for the last three days and today it's making me feel sick. It's all behind my eyes and in my neck blerghh

KateBeckett · 03/11/2015 13:07

Thanks feathered I just looked at the epu website and they have some information which has helped me chill a little bit... Might pop to the nearest one next week if I'm still worried. Flowers

fruitlovingmonkey · 03/11/2015 13:17

Mmm they are so delicious. I'm coming to London this weekend which means I get to eat all the lovely things I miss from back home. Cheese strings, crab meat and prawn cocktail crisps are high up on the list at the moment.
Kate how far along are you? Might be worth going if the pains persist and you are worried but remember that you shouldn't have a scan too early. They might not be able to find the heartbeat and that would just be even more worrying. My doctor reckons she can normally find it from around 7 weeks with dildocam but I guess it depends what equipment they have. If it's any consolation, I had weird pains in the beginning. It felt like tugging from inside my belly button.

CarrotPuff · 03/11/2015 13:40

Yay, amazing news lil, congrats!

Gx for good appt Molly.

Country time for drugs? Gx it passes soon.

Kate easier said than done, but if it's not painful it's probably nothing to worry about. There's lots of stretching going on at this stage.

Weighed myself this morning, and I'm a bit ahead of where I should be... Oops! Maybe I should take it easier on cake!

FeatheredTail · 03/11/2015 13:45

Carrot I just ate a second lunch. M&S greek salad. I'm going wild after 6 weeks eating white bread! I'm going to be BOOMING ahead of weight targets at this rate!

fruitlovingmonkey · 03/11/2015 14:17

Meh, the weight targets aren't important unless you were overweight to start with. Enjoy it!

FeatheredTail · 03/11/2015 14:19

Immediately runs out to Greggs

KateBeckett · 03/11/2015 14:20

fruit I'm only 5 weeks!
It's just weird, because it's always in the same place...

carrot how do you know where you should be weight wise? I feel like I've put on loads already!! Grin

oneyorkshirepud · 03/11/2015 16:43

Rdm that is one big baby!! So exciting that you will be snuggling your baby by Monday though, Eep!!

Kate I had what I thought were ov pains after bfp. Presume they were actually womble stretching pains...

Lemon/JC/Molly have you packed your hospital bags yet? I've taken my bag out of the loft and have bought lots of stuff, I just haven't, you know, packed it. Grin

Flowers for Country and anyone else feeling grim.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 03/11/2015 16:43

kate - you can find a few helpful sites with a bit of googling which outline roughly how much weight you should be gaining on a weekly basis, or whether you are gaining too much/not enough as recommended depending where you are in the pregnancy.

I can't remember the sites offhand, but do have a google. Also, don't worry about the stretching - it sounds totally normal. Uterus stretching, etc. If it isn't painful then it's nothing to worry about. Your body will go through a crap ton of changes, so it's worth only getting things checked out if there is a genuine issue to worry about (although obv different people have diff views on that!). Otherwise you will just drive yourself bonkers!

Good luck for your scan feathered! Which scan will this be for you now? Surely it can't be the first one?!?!

Carrot - I feel you on the weight gain. I think it's really easy to put on excessive weight when pregnant actually.

I've been doing (pregnancy suitable) weights and cardio 4 times a week, and haven't been indulging in any of my cake fantasies, but have still managed to put on 10kg so far, which is only a couple of pounds off the top recommended weight gain for 31 weeks. I'd probably be a good 3kg lighter if I hadn't been eating dark chocolate on a daily basis though!

Jcandy · 03/11/2015 17:33

pud I've bought a couple of hospital bag things but haven't properly sat down with the list and checked I've got everything yet. It's my first job for mat leave!

jellypi3 · 03/11/2015 17:46

Blimey I lemon has packed hers, that's be later than bats if not!!

I'm doing mine when I move :)

jellypi3 · 03/11/2015 17:49

Oh and I'm not even going to go there on weight gain. Needless to say I'll be dieting hard after this baby is here lol.

JustMeAndHim · 03/11/2015 18:22

Congrats Lil that's lovely news.

I had my 12 week scan today, all looking good and a very active little bean...being a little bit naughty actually Hmm maybe the sign of things to come!

ThursdayLastWeek · 03/11/2015 18:34

Yippee for happy scans Smile

jellypi3 · 03/11/2015 18:39

Yay congrats just :)

In other news, constipation that makes your eyes water. Bad bad times.

JustMeAndHim · 03/11/2015 19:06

I still discuss what I am taking with my GP but it helps to be armed with actual research. I also find it has reduced my anxiety a lot to have access to more detailed information on risks etc. I was really getting quite freaked out about the advice I was getting from the midwives! Glad you find it helpful.
