There's definitely lots you can go on there, I love legoland we had merlin passes last year so went quite a few times xx

PrincessPunzie · 24/10/2015 09:42

I hope you feel better soon jelly - I assume you are the lady who added me on FB last night? But not 100% sure as I do get some random requests!

I feel rubbish today but it's a cold rather than anything pregnancy related. Have cancelled my spin class which I know is for the best, but my exercise-addicted brain still feels bad about it! If I wasn't pregnant I probably would have gone anyway and suffered the consequences. So at least I'm learning some common sense.

I remember a discussion about saliva a few pages back - eww, isn't it gross? I couldn't get to sleep last night due to a sore throat, but every time I lay still for a bit I discovered I'd gobbed all over my pillow as if I'd been out cold for hours! Lovely.

MagicDucky · 24/10/2015 09:48

Urgh, I'm having the worst day. OH is at work and I'm so tired!

My 1yo has spat food at me, hit me, poured milk all over herself, the table and the floor and tried to stand on my stomach. It's not even 10 o'clock yet!!

I need a nap!

nehagarg · 24/10/2015 10:00

Good luck today mrsmugoo. Thinking of you.

Magicducky That sounds tiring. This one is my first so interesting to see all aspects of what is to come.

Quick question everyone. Anyone else had a low bp spell while pregnant? I almost fainted this morning when I got out of bed (no faster than usual). Was sweating and felt dizzy and nauseous. Checked BP and it was much lower than usual.

I was lying on my back all night but I am only 8+5. I thought you need to stop doing that after 12? I am okay now but it was scary to have my vision go dark like that! Tried Google but it only talks about generally lower BP while pregnant, not sudden drops.

Fiddledeedeee · 24/10/2015 10:09

Hi all, I haven't posted for ages. I had a scan on Wednesday at what should have been 6+4 and saw a heartbeat but doc said was definitely measuring less than 6 weeks. Just like lex I got bfp on1st October and trying to be positive but since mmc in August I just wish everything had been totally perfect! Also feeling completely rubbish with nausea and tiredness. Can't wait for this trimester to be over. Am not even really thinking about being pregnant much as I half expect to not be soon and then I feel guilty for worrying too much. So pleased to hear other people's good news though.

obsessedlex · 24/10/2015 10:10

I keep having dizzy spells that I assume are me bp?! I asked the midwife yesterday and she said just take everything a bit slower she checked my bp and it was normal. She said just keep hydrated and blood sugar constant and just take it a bit easy, just be aware as you get up etc not to rush off as you might be a bit dizzy.

My DD is with her dad this weekend and Mr Obsessed is at anglesey race track, camping! Hahahaha hhhaaaaa the fool it's horrendous torrential rain apparently!
I am 'mucking out' DD's room and throwing lots of 'plastic crap' away without her claiming that she must keep the broken plastic telephone from a CBeebies mag years ago....... And the....... And the .....
Those with kids will know how much rubbish can be accumulated those pg with numero uno - well you have this joy to come!!

Belleboo23 · 24/10/2015 10:14

Nehagarg....might be worth ringing out of hours doctor for advice I think I would if it was me.
Definitely just felt nauseous while doing my teeth, made me heave. Its easing off now

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 24/10/2015 10:21

That doesn't sound good Nehagarg. I am worried about the low BP in pregnancy starting because I already suffer from low BP. I'm only 4+3 at the moment so not been to bad as yet. But thinking of buying a monitor so I know how low it's going to go.

nehagarg · 24/10/2015 10:21

Thabks obsessedlex and belboo. I'll try both your advice. I feel fine now but want to make sure it doesnt happen again. It was luck that I had something to grab on to.

fiddledeedee Lovely that you saw a heartbeat. Its normal to have your dates up and down as you may have ovulated later than you thought you did. So you might be 6+4 by LMP dates but if you ovulated a week later, then baby would measure smaller. I wouldnt worry. You did see a heartbeat. Smile

nehagarg · 24/10/2015 10:23

Miracles - A monitor would definitely help. I freaked out until I checked BP and realised thats what it was.

iamdivergent · 24/10/2015 11:10

I've been really dizzy over last few days, and feeling a bit off this morning. Back to work Monday after a week off, it's going to be tiring I think!

GuessHowMuchILoveGin · 24/10/2015 11:14

I've had light-headed spells too. Think it's pretty normal.

I am suffering with all the drool. I thought I was the only pregnant person to get this random symptom so it's reassuring to know I'm not some sort of mutant.

HarleyQuinn90 · 24/10/2015 11:19

Hello everyone and congratulations! Can I join too? I found out on 21/10 that I am expecting baby number 4 Grin this will be my partners first baby and we are both so excited!! My other children are 8, 7 and almost 6 so it's been a while since I did the pregnancy/baby thing feel new to it again! My EDD is 21/06/2016 Smile I've booked my booking in appointment (5/11/2015) and filled out a form to be referred for my 12 week scan, it still feels so surreal! Right I'm going to read through the rest of these posts, got too impatient and wanted to introduce myself Grin

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 24/10/2015 11:29

Hello harly Smile

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 24/10/2015 11:30

Harley my spelling is getting worse lol

iamdivergent · 24/10/2015 11:36

Welcome harley

I'm a drooling monster, my pillow was a tad wet this morning Halloween Blush

bikingintherain · 24/10/2015 11:39

Hi all, I've just caught up with the thread, I haven't posted here for a couple of days and look how fast it goes.

Congratulations to the newbies and big sympathies for those suffering with the dreaded ms and hypermesis. (sp?!)

I've been on meds for the morning sickness, it's definitely taken the edge off it and some days I feel more normal, although one side effect is drowsiness so I have been sleeping even more than! But it also isn't a complete fix, I still have awful nausea at times, but I'm grateful that the meds to give me some rest bite from it sometimes.

I haven't been having excess saliva so much but I do get a hideous taste in my mouth. urrgghh.

I'll be sticking on this thread rather than fb, but all the best for those that move over.

graycier · 24/10/2015 12:31

Hello everyone.
New here and got my bfp yesterday. This is early days, so due late June.
Just got to get used to using these forums.
( I'm too used to Facebook ha ha )

mrsmugoo · 24/10/2015 13:32

Morning all - everything fine at the scan, saw a heartbeat and my dates are spot on.

cautiousoptimist1 · 24/10/2015 13:35

Great news mrsmugoo!

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 24/10/2015 13:36

Greycier I got my BFP yesterday also Smile. Exciting isn't it. Is this your first baby?

HarleyQuinn90 · 24/10/2015 14:03

Mrsmugoo very happy for you!

I've tried ringing to book an early reassurance scan today but had to leave a message should get a call back, I'm such a worrier and even though I had 3 healthy pregnancys this is 6 years later and I'm too impatient! It will cost me 50 pound which I think is quite reasonable.

graycier · 24/10/2015 14:23

miraclesdohappen82
Yes very exciting. This will be my 2nd. I already have a 22month old. How about you? x

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 24/10/2015 14:40

Graycier this is my first, first child and first time being pregnant. Smile

graycier · 24/10/2015 14:49
