Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Ugh I hope opticians here will give me an eye test - the only pair of glasses I have are about 10 years old but they are totally the wrong prescription so are no good for even watching TV let alone driving. I need to get new glasses for baby arriving as I'm sure that putting contact lenses in and taking out every 5 seconds when I'm up in the night isn't going to be practical and I'm sure I will end up falling asleep in contact lenses too and also will need to wear glasses for a bit when I realise I've had them in for 3 days! But I have no idea what my glasses subscription is, only my contact lens one and they are different aren't they?

5hell I got bigger boobs at first and then they seemed to settle down - I did have to buy bra extenders recently though as I can't be arsed to figure out new bra size and it seems to be working! I'm still in normal underwired bras, naughty me!

WouldRatherHaveCake · 19/08/2015 13:32

So I was really worried about telling my boss this morning about being pregnant, he was lovely! Turns out it was my manager who gave me a hard time. He's a grumpy old man who says things "jokingly " that are actually pretty inappropriate.

He put his head in his hands and asked what I was thinking, asked why he was the last to bloody know and said I was going to be very unpopular now as did I realise what I was putting on everyone else. He also called me selfish. Knob

I know he thinks he is being funny but I feel like the saying applies "many a true word said in jest"

5hell · 19/08/2015 13:43

gee he's hilarious would!!? what a twat.

jellypi3 · 19/08/2015 13:55

did you give him this face would Hmm (swiftly followed by the middle finger)

ga that sucks! I hope they do test mine, i am due one and the headaches are really getting me down!

jellypi3 · 19/08/2015 13:56

oh looks like my email address and password was one of those posted by those fucking hackers...joy

CountryGal4 · 19/08/2015 14:15

Pretty sure his ass should be fired for saying shit like that!

SecondCupOfTea · 19/08/2015 14:19

Thursday my booking appointment letter took about 10 days to come through via a GP referral.

So, booking done and what a lot of appointments that seemed to generate! We had the standard wibble with the midwife (who was lovely), then I had to go to another area and book for my 12 week scan (3rd September), then I had to go back to where I started to book for my 16 week review, then I had to go to have bloods done, and then I had to go upstairs to book another appointment for the 'PREM' clinic (I have no idea what happens there).

It seems that I have to be seen by someone as years ago I had an abnormal smear that resulted in a biopsy (colposcopy) being done, and supposedly this can increase the risk of miscarriage (I guess because they take a snippet of your cervix).

Anyhow, they took my details and said they would call me with an appointment, which they have, but she couldn't tell me what the appointment entailed! I have no idea if it's a scan, or an internal examination, or a tea party.

And someone please enlighten me...why am I supposed to drink a warm drink before my scan?

WouldRatherHaveCake · 19/08/2015 14:37

I know..I'm not impressed. I reminded him that legally I didn't have to say anything yet, then he asked my due date and remarked I'd left it long enough already!

jelly how did you know that?

honeysucklejasmine · 19/08/2015 14:37

Would that is outrageous! Is there anyone you can complain too?

tea that sounds hectic but exciting!! :)

thanks for the boob advice viroids...think i will invest in an interim bra or two this weekend then keep an eye on them ;)
only started off at 32b/c so not much to keep under control really, but am already getting some 4-boob!

next problem....wedding on saturday, pretty sure most of my nice weddingy dresses will be snug (esp at the bosom) so may need to find a reasonably-priced loosish dress before saturday...any recommendations for this awkward phase?

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 19/08/2015 14:54

jelly do you know where this list is of email addresses or usernames they accessed? Please? I'm so useless with this sort of stuff. I think I probably didn't check the URL thingie so think I am on there. I just had to think up a new password just to log in! :(

honeysucklejasmine · 19/08/2015 14:55

The list, edited without passwords etc, is now posted on most active.

5hell I was a bit bigger in the 1st and 2nd trimester but more uncomfortable rather than necessarily massive. I mostly increased my size in the last few weeks before birth and then a bit more after birth. Went from a 36C to a 38E/40DD. Before getting pregnant again I went back down after stopping breastfeeding to a 36B. Yip, they shrunk.

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 19/08/2015 14:58

Jesus would what an asshole!
Oh many thanks jelly - is it the "am I on the list?" one?

Warning "me post" :(
Viroids I've been feeling so awful (hence my absence from the Fred). This fecking nausea isn't lifting it's 24/7. All.The.Time. Sometimes eating helps, sometimes it doesn't and I haven't been able to figure out at all what to do to make it better. Completely different than with DC so am totally jealous of my pregnant self of two years ago. And on top of that I've had the most miserable cold coming and going in waves. A day or two of feeling okay and getting rid of all the snot built up, then two or three days of sore throat, headache, runny nose, stuffy nose. Two weeks of that now. In additional to the nausea of the last three weeks. And getting up four or five times a night with DC. I am so tired I've considered jumping out the window but would probably just break my legs so it really isn't worth it
It's just been plain miserable.
Sorry. You don't have to commiserate or anything. Just had to put it out there in the real MN world as DH is probably exhausted from my complaining to him and no one else. We haven't told anyone else yet about the pregnancy as we're waiting for the 12 week scan, so it's him getting all the moaning. Poor guy.

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 19/08/2015 15:15

jelly yes, that is why I wanted to find out if I'm on the list. Doesn't look like. phew

CarrotPuff · 19/08/2015 15:45

I was on the list but fortunately I had a separate psw for this forum. I normally use one of a few for everything. And yes, I got an email.

Tea I've never heard of warm drinks before scan, and I had 4. You're supposed to drink water or juice, not milk and nothing caffeinated AFAIR, don't think they ever mentioned anything about temperature!

Auf sorry you're feeling so rubbish, I'm afraid I can't offer any advice. Can your DP get up with DC? Do you work? Take a couple days off work just to rest? I had a horrid cold in December when pg and it lasted over two weeks! Not very helpful, but you need much more rest when ill when pg. You have my sympathies Flowers

ThursdayLastWeek · 19/08/2015 16:07

Hello,
Do you like my new NN?

I got paranoid and de-regged and started again with a new email. Can you guess who I am???

honeysucklejasmine · 19/08/2015 16:47

Not a clue!
