Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Sorry about the job Carrot Sad

Pud I don't do peanut butter but tarte tatin is my favourite.

I've had a nap, been woken by thunder and just eaten 3 morrisons lemon donuts as my sugar was really low.

We've been to find shelves for Purplebabys room but they are all floating ones which don't hold any weight and have crap reviews. I wanted to go old school and just get some nice wood with brackets but it's all untreated pine. Might have to buy some stain and do it myself. Couldn't get a long length of conte board as Wickes wouldn't cut it down and we don't have a jigsaw - by that point I was in a strop and stormed out to buy above mentioned donuts!

honeysucklejasmine · 23/08/2015 19:11

I find places like B&Q have quite a good range of shelves. Or Amazon?

purple pud DIY sympathies to you both.
There must be something gravely wrong with me. DP shouted at me about gas pipes because I couldn't answer the gas pipe question so i actually ran away from the house bawling my eyes out then refused to get in the car when he drove after me Shock I mean. What. The. Fuck! Shall I blame hormones?

oneyorkshirepud · 23/08/2015 19:15

There is something about B&Q that seems to lower blood sugar/make you feel rubbish, they need a cafe! DH and I v v rarely fall out but we had been in B&Q for AGES once and he was having a big stress about a project and ended up telling me to sit on the trolly and stop wandering off!! Ha ha felt like I was about 2! Smile

Glad you approve of the pie concept, I shall experiment and report back.

pretzelpieces · 23/08/2015 19:23

Hugs ga definitely blame the hormones and say the only fix is copious amounts of ice cream/cake of your choice. Wink

Agree with pud about b&q, I always go in excited and come out feeling like a wrung out flannel.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/08/2015 19:32

I loathe diy. I'm surprised my first marriage made it past setting up IKEA furniture.

Poor you honey Flowers

oneyorkshirepud · 23/08/2015 19:45

Oh no Ga? (But I would blame it on DP for shouting about gas pipes). Hope you are okay.

MollyBloomYes · 23/08/2015 19:52

Diy is nobody's friend. That pie however sounds like it could be a very good friend indeed. To my tummy.

We're now on week 3 of no boiler. So no dishwasher, taking washing up to my grans and one electric shower. Poor ds is having to have strip washes every night. He doesn't care, he's one but I am ITCHING to dunk him in a properly hot bubbly bath and get him squeaky clean! He's terrified of the shower so no go there!

CarrotPuff · 23/08/2015 19:54

Thanks viroids, sorry to put a downer on the Fred!

pud that cake sounds divine, I'll have a slice too, thank you!

I am so tired want to cry. Once DS is in bed I'm going to bed too.

gaggiagirl · 23/08/2015 19:59

carrot so sorry about the Job. Do you fancy a shared sob? I'm good at sobbing.

Yeah its DIY that's the twat here and fucking gas pipes. Bastards.

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/08/2015 20:00

Oh ga what a stressful time you're having!
And molly, that sounds a total pita.

Tonight I had halloumi, cous cous, sweet pot and runner beans for tea. It was 'ansom.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 23/08/2015 20:11

Did someone say pie?

gaggiagirl · 23/08/2015 20:31

Thursday that sounds yum!
Lidl have got serrano ham.legs in again for £30....tempted.

honeysucklejasmine · 23/08/2015 20:33

I only ate halloumi for the first time yesterday. It was nice. Quite salty though. DH said it tasted like cheese strings. He had a point!

Now watching "Time Crashers" on C4. Quite entertaining.

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/08/2015 20:37

Mm, the salt is why I like it!
I'm tempted by one of those hams too ga - I dint even know if I really like it, but it seems like too good a bargain!

I can recommend the fake kinder Bueno things from lidl too

CarrotPuff · 23/08/2015 20:51

You are very welcome to join me in the sob corner Ga, and anyone else.

I had horrendous backache today and couldn't bend or sit down without feeling it's going to snap. It mostly is gone now but instead I trapped my finger on the stair gate when I was closing it. Aargh! That was so painful!

Sorry about the me me me moany post, I think tiredness makes everything feel 100 times worse... Now in bed, having had a glass of milk for dinner... I even didn't have energy to eat a Magnum!

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/08/2015 20:58

another 3 or 4 years of them, good oh carrot

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/08/2015 21:27

Poor you carrot! ga I'm sorry you're feeling pants. We've had DSD for the weekend and I'm shattered and I have three huge projects on this week. DP is giving me the side eye. I think he's cross I told off DSD for lying twice this weekend. He's got a real schoolboy hang up about the children being called liars. To the point where he will reinterpret the events to shift the focus away from the lie. It makes me Angry everyone knows kids play fast and loose with the truth to get what they want/out of trouble. It isn't like it is an attack on their character to pull them up on it.

mountaingirl01 · 23/08/2015 21:46

Wah?! Can't be jelly ! hides behind purple I only ordered my epi no yesterday! Baba has to wait a few weeks now for me to get ready :)

Sorry about your job carrot that really sucks

gaggiagirl · 23/08/2015 21:49

sky DD tells lies when she cant get her own way. For example.
DP: Get in your car seat
DD: No. I want my mammy to carry me
DP: Get in your car seat!
DD: Maaaaaaaaam Mr gaggia just punched me!!!!! Waaaaaaaaa!

The little bugger! Kids and lies eh.

gaggiagirl · 23/08/2015 21:50

Loving the epi no purchases!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/08/2015 22:12

ga your DP is DD's SD am I right? It is a minefield some days. DP is always adamant that I should treat her just like my DD but when I do and she inevitably cries when she gets told off it is like I am murdering kittens... He just refues to see he is being played Hmm

Toast85 · 23/08/2015 22:29

App lost my post Hmm

The gist of it was:
Halloumi- I had some deep fried at a restaurant the other week, it was flipping lush.

DIY- sorry to those with DIY woes. We're about to do nursery painting, I hope it goes well. We've already chickened out of painting the woodwork because we can't work out how to successfully get the carpets out of the way and back down again without the sky falling in/war breaking out. It's not in desperate need of a repaint.

I've had a lovely relaxing weekend with friends doing absolutely nothing productive whatsoever and feel marvellous from it, I no longer feel 90 years old! It will all be ruined after a few hours at work tomorrow but I'm enjoying the feeling while it lasts.

Toast85 · 23/08/2015 22:30

I also bulk bought scary maternity pads this afternoon, starting to get the hospital bag ready at last.

gaggiagirl · 23/08/2015 22:34

Yes sky. She gives him a pretty hard time if things aren't going her way. Kids are clever and manipulative! He's bought her up since she was 2.5. When we are united on an issue and she doesn't like it she cries for her daddy and tells me her daddy will be so angry with us. Ha! I can imagine being a step parent is really hard.
