Just realised that pic has got my name on it. Have reported it! Good pic though!!

FizzyPinkWine · 21/08/2015 20:58

Right, I'll try again!
Had 20 week scan today. It all went really well - everything measured perfectly and all organs were doing what they should! Very happy. Starting to get more excited now!
I've got to have the gtt too. Booked it today, for 20th October.

Nightfall I just realised I don't have a clue! Bee? Buffalo? OMG, I just feel lost!

19 weeks and still sleeping on my back a lot, but on my left when I remember. I heard that you just naturally keep off your back when you need to cos it's no longer comfortable. I'm going to talk to my mw about it.

I don't want to contemplate the number of calories I've consumed today. It's so unlike me to eat junk too! I'm guessing bub needs it for lots of growing.

Still not feeling anything so I'm guessing I have anterior placenta.

MissSMartin · 21/08/2015 22:01

Aww beautiful pic Fizzy Smile
Great news on the scans today ladies!!
Me too blackandwhite oops Blush

Here's my 18w bumpy!

MissSMartin · 21/08/2015 22:03

my last comment to you B&W was about the junk food but I've just realised it also applies to back sleeping aswell haha

lilyb84 · 21/08/2015 23:13

Welcome and congrats happygirl Smile
Lovely scan news kep and fizzy! Glad all's looking good for your little ones.

jade and melon know what you mean, I keep getting told 'oh, you don't look pregnant' and while I know I don't have a big bump I'm definitely fatter rounder than I was so they're clearly not looking hard enough Grin Will see if I have enough of a bump for a bumpie tomorrow to share...

jade good luck with wedding outfit shopping. I'm going out in town with a friend in the evening tomorrow so am (voluntarily) heading to Oxford St beforehand to see if I can find some maternity work trousers and a few more tops.

Hope everyone has nice weekends planned!

coffeenut · 21/08/2015 23:25

A lot of mums I knew in London left their buggies at the bottom of the elevator/stairs (usually there was a space to store things). We took ours into our apartment as it was small and there was no safe place to leave it! We now keep one in the garage and one in the car which works really well - but we didnt have a car or a garage in London.

Beautiful bump pics! misssm your bump's not big at all but you are very tiny by comparison! Smile kep glad the scan went well ... I had a small glass of moet last night with DH to celebrate and felt sick and sleepy afterwards so that was a bit of a fail!! Grin Baby was wriggling up a storm all evening, maybe it was left over adrenalin from the scan. BTW both girls came with us, and both were so thrilled to find out it was a boy. DD2 (2 yrs) in particular was fascinated, to the point where she was standing so close to the sonographer DH had to gently pull her off!!!

GTT is standard over here. I think I'll have it at 26/27 weeks.

Off to 9am ballet class now. Just think of all the things you have to look forward to, those of you expecting little girls!!!!

coffeenut · 21/08/2015 23:29

Oh also, congrats fizzy on a good scan too!! And a lovely pic Smile

Also fab bump jmac!!

Go and get that red patch checked kep. It's prob just eczema/skin playing up with preg hormones but get it checked.

frozenfairy123 · 22/08/2015 06:07

Morning ladies, with all these issues with mn does anyone fancy having a private facebook group?

FizzyPinkWine · 22/08/2015 06:23

I think that's a great idea frozen!

MissSMartin · 22/08/2015 07:44

I would but I've not had Facebook for years I deactivated it Sad

baby is really wriggly this morning I've been lying in bed since 5.30am and she's not stopped moving and kicking/punching me! Grin

coffee Aww ballet so cute! so excited for things like Smile

mrschatty · 22/08/2015 07:56

frozen I'm up for Fb or happy to stay here if majority don't have it!
I'm working today 5 hours were quiet on a Saturday (fingers crossed) so taking my hello mag! Off to sil for a bbq for her bday weather looks shocking so wellies and waterproofs it is!

AlohaMama · 22/08/2015 08:13

Personally I prefer to just stick with MN. Last group we ended up wtih a FB grp but as lots of people stayed on MN I coudn't be faffed keeping up with two. Changing pw is a minor hassle but I dont' see the hack as a major security issue because MN don't hold any data about me other than my email address which is probably obtainable through all sorts of places.

BeeMyBaby · 22/08/2015 08:27

The only difficulty I'm having with the hack is that I can't login to the apps as they keep saying they are offline - it has gone pretty quite on MN. I think it's quite nice to move onto a Facebook group after our babies are born though, as then we can keep our lovely children photos between us rather than the whole internet. Just now we just have scan pictures (which all look the same really) and headless bump photos, so it's not going to 'out' any of us.

B&W I'm with you on the junk food, I've started my day off with an English muffin and hot dogs Smile to be fair I seem to do well during the week, the weekends I let go a bit.

I've been really fancying a beer lately. It doesn't help they are my favourite ones leftover from before I got pregnant and they are nice and cold in the fridge. I might take them out, not as appealing when they're warm! DH suggested making it into a shandy. Why is it, despite all the evidence and research that says having one or two units in the second tri isn't going to do any damage I still can't do it without feeling really guilty. I might just get DH to pick up some becks blue on his wag home. Did any of you have the odd drink in previous pregnancies?

21 weeks today!!!

MissSMartin · 22/08/2015 09:06

love I've had a few sips of my mum's cool crisp cider a few times nothing more than a mouth full and that makes me feel awful but It's only a one off.. im sure you will be fine to have one drink every so often Smile think when we was all being conceived and when our mums where pregnant what they were up to then and I know there's a hell of alot more research these days but we turned out fine!? I wouldn't myself but since the nhs says it fine im sure it is?

OrangeyBeehive · 22/08/2015 10:24

Looking 21 weeks today also! Just starting to get uncomfortable. Had awful night's sleep last night and had really bad leg cramp at about 7am - had to wake DH to fix it! Now just feel very tired with a sore leg Sad

Had my scan last Wednesday and everything's fine. Firmly in team yellow, even if we had wanted to know the sex we couldn't as baby's legs were firmly clamped together and he/she wasn't budging!

I haven't posted for ages but have been trying to keep up with the conversation where possible. Hope you are all well and glad to hear lots of good scan news. MissM you have a gorgeous bump!

OrangeyBeehive · 22/08/2015 10:25

By Looking I meant Loveu. Didn't read that properly!

ValancyJane · 22/08/2015 10:29

Aww Fizzy lovely picture Smile

I'd be happy with Facebook if others are, would be better for photos etc and names of babies later on. But equally would still stay on this thread!

love This is my first pregnancy, but I've been contemplating having a small glass of wine at a friend's wedding next weekend when I'll be 19 weeks. (At the risk of sounding like a total stuck up wine snob - I promise I'm not really - they're having a Marlborough sauvignon with the meal which is my absolute favourite wine, so I was thinking of a small glass to see me through the meal and the toasts). But I haven't drunk anything since falling pregnant, and was quite a big drinker beforehand, so am worried that even though I've found it easy so far, it might be harder to stay as a non-drinker if I give in that once! I'm really on the fence about it, but there will be another pregnant woman there who's about four weeks ahead of me and she'll be having a drink.

lilyb84 · 22/08/2015 10:35

valancy that's exactly how I feel - like one drink would be a bit of a slippery slope. I'm also quite wanting a beer, loveulots and have been doing what missm has - the odd sip here and there but no more... My DH works in a pub run by a local brewery so I've asked for the odd taster when they put new ales on.

I'm not on FB but wouldn't hold it against others setting up a private group :) Technically I have a profile so I can run a page for the pub DJ night I do but it's super private/hidden, no pics or anything. I might be able to use that for a private group? Not sure...

I'm getting ready to do some housework before heading to Oxford St (shudder). Glamorous weekend! Grin

hotcrossbun83 · 22/08/2015 10:52

I'm having the odd small glass of prosecco, I'm much more relaxed this time round. Since I hardly have any it has to be the good stuff. Or failing that a really weak spritzer in a big wine glass with ice can fool you into thinking you've got a much bigger drink that you have

Pugmumlondon · 22/08/2015 10:53

Morning ladies. What a lovely day. Loving all the pics. I'm definitely in bump territory but as my boobs have gone from a to DD I'm worried they may soon overtake it! Baby moving last night and today so panic over.

Less than 2 weeks now till my scan! So excited!

Who is sharing the sex with fam / friends? I can't decide what to do!

lilyb84 · 22/08/2015 10:59

I forgot to mention that I think I've been feeling a few movements - flicks and pops in my tummy which don't seem related to me digesting anything! Even feeling a few light prods when I put my hand on my belly - and DH felt some this morning too! Exciting if it's not just gas...

18+1

ValancyJane · 22/08/2015 11:07

lily 18+1 too and I've also started to feel some possible movements yesterday and today, but every time I move my hand there it stops, so I can't decide if it's all in my head!!
