Not started a new thread before, so I'll give it a go....

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
maybebabybee · 21/07/2015 14:45

yay for the 3+s :)

but stop testing now everyone, remember there's a certain point around 7 weeks I think where your HCG gets too high and starts freaking the tests out - so you could actually end up with a lighter line.

my sister got 1-2 weeks on the CB digi when she was 8 weeks pregnant and freaked out but baby was fine - it was just her HCG sending the test screwy.

Missdee2014 · 21/07/2015 14:48

Glad I'm not alone in testing! I'm defo buying no more though. To be fair, I bought tesco cheap ones (2 pack), one didn't work and the other showed positive and then only tested once more with a single pack clear blue. Doubt I'll tell my other half I've tested again cos he won't be chuffed I'm wasting cash on tests for no real reason lol

Marking my place on the new thread Smile

Can I be added to stats please?
EDD 10 March (6+5)
DC3

I had my booking in at GP today where I had to pick my hospital, she checked my blood pressure and urine, weighed me and gave me an Emma's Diary and that was that. Waiting for a scan date now then, we do a proper booking in with the midwife at 12 week scan. I had to take the boys with me so it was a bit of a hectic appointment, am sure doctor thinks I'm a loon for having another!

My dad had his check up with his consultant today and seems to be responding well to his treatment, he has to stay on hormone treatment and have another MRI scan and see consultant again in September. He had targeted radiotherapy (cyber knife treatment) last month so fingers crossed it'll have worked well.

I'm exhausted today, I think the kids are getting pasta and cheese sauce for dinner, it's the best I can rustle upGrin

RhubarbAndMustard · 21/07/2015 16:02

Hi everyone, can I be added to stats too pls.
Age 35, #2, 6+3, EDD 12th March
I've had awful nausea last couple of mornings but thankfully goes after a good lunch. Can't drink any tea at all (which is good to break my usual 4-6 cups a day!).

JoannaZZ · 21/07/2015 16:10

Yay new bus! And stats! Can I be added to the stats please?

30, EDD 4 March (7+4 today), baby #1

Embolio · 21/07/2015 16:17

Oops, oh yes I'm 36 ( for the stats!)

Poppins27 · 21/07/2015 16:24

Can someone add me to the stats please, 32, baby #2, edd 10th March.

Congratutions Missdee, how very exciting!!

I've just got round to ringing the midwives, only to find out it a self referral form that needs completing online, could have done that ages ago discreetly, was waiting for a day off so I didn't have to ring from work!!

No idea what happens now, all changed since I had Dd1 in 2012!!

Still very few symptoms, sore boobs, felt hungover for a few days but ok today really?! Haven't POAS since I got my first (and second) positive nearly two weeks ago ????

lilmisshopeful · 21/07/2015 16:27

Wow second thread already! Thanks to whoever set it up. Ditto for starting the stats.

I'm probably tempting fate to add myself to the stats now in case scan on Friday isn't good news. But I'm trying to think positive so here goes:

36, #2, 7+3, EDD March 6th

Trinpy · 21/07/2015 16:39

Hello! Sorry to hear so many of you are feeling sick. I don't even feel pregnant yet (just very hungry!) but I don't think the sickness and exhaustion kicked in until around 8 weeks last time. I'm already stocking up on the ginger biscuits!

Stats are: 26, dc#2, edd 23rd March.

BeautifulLiar · 21/07/2015 16:55

Pasta and sauce is impressive!! My kids are getting pancakes. As in the ones you just put in the toaster.

God knows what I'm having. Second night in a row I'm craving lamb tikka, but I had one on Saturday and darent order because I'm worried what the neighbours will think Confused although funnily enough I'm not bothered about them hearing me give birth!

lilmisshopeful · 21/07/2015 17:07

maybe you're right about stopping the testing now. But it's soooo hard to resist the temptation to do another CB digi just to (hopefully) see 3+ weeks appear. In just craving info and any sign that things are still ok in there. Waiting for the scan is so hard!

Rosieblossom123 · 21/07/2015 17:26

lilmisshopeful I agree it's so hard waiting, I think pregnancy test reassure us that's why we keep doing them, I really need to stop tho :(

eightdollars really? :) when did you end up having your bub?

QforCucumber · 21/07/2015 17:43

I'll add the rest to the stats tomorrow at work as the laptop is playing games with me!
been to gp - checked blood pressure and heart rate and said he has no worries, I do though so going to book a private scan locally for 8 weeks - they're only £40 at a local place and I can't bear waiting another 6 not knowing!

Kittykitty05 · 21/07/2015 17:47

Great Q for stats, if you wouldn't mind adding me...
I'm 36, baby #3, due 5th March

Hunger increased today. I've been so off food since my loss earlier this year, connected to emotional stuff. I've been eating next to nothing. But today I must have doubled my food intake and felt constantly hungry! Yay! Or maybe not, will prob pile weight on now!

Today seems to be going on and on! Had a 3 hour nap that seems to have just made me feel worse. Dd is being a monkey for dh today, really giving him the run around.

Counting down the days until 8 weeks, 7+1 today, as sickness was no where near as bad with dd once I hit that point. Will try to forget the fact I was sick pretty much all pregnancy. But 6-8 weeks I felt like death, like I do now.

Me624 · 21/07/2015 18:02

Marking my place on the thread! Can I be added to the stats too please, 28, first baby, 7+4 EDD 5th March.

purplecat I'm excited to hear about your scan as I've got one on Saturday at 8+1 and was wondering how much we'd be able to see! Can't wait, I'm counting down the days. I still haven't told anyone except my best friend but if the scan is ok then we're going to tell my parents I think.

dobbythedoggy · 21/07/2015 18:03

Oh and stats,
I'm 26, hopefully this will be baby #2, have dd already, due tbc but the first week of march. We're in devon.

marmitemofo · 21/07/2015 18:14

DP playing football after work today so I had to so nursery pick up, dinner and bath and bed for DD. Christ I'm knackered and I still need to do her bath. dinner was pesto pasta the ultimate lazy dinner! I added in some peas and butter beans for healthiness so feel like I'm managing though I'm totally ignoring the horrific amounts of salt in store bought pesto even if I do feel like crap! think its bed time for me after this...

BeautifulLiar · 21/07/2015 18:32

Pasta with pesto is a weekly staple here! Also, I'm only bathing the DC a couple of times a week while i feel like crapBlush

dobby, I'm jealous! normally weeks 5.5 - 12 are death for me. Ugh

Kittykitty05 · 21/07/2015 19:28

Easy pea-sy pesto pasta- definite favourite in our house too!

Can I be added to the stats please?

38 (desperately hanging on but will be 39 next Friday), have 2 dc already, due 18/3 so 5+4 (I think), private scan booked for next tues before holiday and relatively symptomless for the moment... Just hungry and tired mostly....

shieldbug · 21/07/2015 20:18

kitty thanks for new thread!
Q thanks for the stats thread; I've not added myself as I've got a scan booked for tomorrow and I've managed to convince myself that it's going to be bad news. My bump feels like it has shrunk a little and my fibroids have stopped aching; all of which happened at the time my last baby stopped developing. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until 10 weeks but I was able to calculate backwards. I've been in tears today so here's hoping I'm wrong and I get good news tomorrow.
Wonderful to hear of al the successful scans, particularly for those who have had previous mc. Congrats all round!

Celen · 21/07/2015 20:20

I've just finished off the last thread
