Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 33rd grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Hospital bag list, posted on FB indigo Smile

Honey congrats on the norks Smile has Ga envy

Mine are now 46F, they were 40E before. Bigger back sizes are a pain for maternity/feeding bras cos you can only get them online. I hated giving up my underwires too Confused

Anxiety in pregnancy is awful. I had GAD anyway but had weaned myself off citalopram before TTC so I've had no crutch for 18 months now. I find the hormones also don't help. I'm definitely not rational.

Sorted the family stuff out. Mum hadn't got my texts today. As soon as she did she came right over. She told me off cos I swore at my aunt. lucky I left when I did But also said that her and Dad completely agreed with me and are very supportive. Also told me off for getting in such a state as its bad for purplebaby. So we're all cool now. Aunt is staying for 9 weeks so I have to suck it up and be nice otherwise it's not fair on mum. Just basically accept she's an ignorant old woman who doesn't live in the real world. Not great but then after I have the baby she will be off back to Oz Smile

Country pm me your email address. I think I can add you. If not I know La can

CountryGal4 · 20/07/2015 22:06

La has

CountryGal4 · 20/07/2015 22:07

Being a dullard worked it out now!

oneyorkshirepud · 20/07/2015 22:13

Oh sorry first trimesterers, the exhaustion is really pants. Sad I think I felt like a fraud also as I wasn't being sick so felt as though I should have just got on with it a bit? I was definitely too hard on myself. I ended up getting sent home from work several times and almost crashed my car. I normally do everything at full speed but had to give up all exercise and most socialising. I just went to work and cooked us dinner (sitting on a stool). I was so proud at 16 weeks when I managed to weed the patio ha ha. So, take it very easy, walk slowly instead of legging it about, sit down a lot, nap and accept help where you can. If you cook try to cook big portions so you don't have to cook each night, and eat good food where you can. I am coming out of it now at 18 weeks but most people feel better sooner than that. You have all of my sympathies, it is really, really hard.

Jelly,I'm excited for you for tomorrow!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 20/07/2015 22:14

All this talk about the bloody show reminds me of when I had mine with DD. XH said "bloody show" in a funny presenters voice and did jazz hands. ShudderShudder!

RhiannonElward · 20/07/2015 22:46

Good evening viroids, you lot are so chatty it takes forever to catch up.

Excellent sweep news La, you're clearly built to withstand a good fisting and Mr La is a very lucky man. Blood, goo and pain are all good signs and I truly hope this is the beginning of the end for you.

Congratulations MrsT and Auf, nice to have some new grads to keep the numbers up. The JS thread will need a recruitment drive at this rate, you're too bloody good at this upduffing Grin

My norks are large but not Ga-normous, I wear a bra to bed to keep the feckers in their place, they're unruly and so firm I am starting to believe they are false.

RhiannonElward · 20/07/2015 22:57

Balls, I sent that too early...

Toast Flowers for you, anxiety is horrible and you have my sympathy. Look after yourself.

Bat, I second the Gaviscon and also sleeping propped up so gravity keeps that acid where it's meant to be. It's horrible but if you find over the counter stuff doesn't help there's always your GP for something stronger.

First trimester viroids. Don't feel bad about being too exhausted to do anything, or for not being fun or slacking at work or housework. You're having babies and it takes a lot of hormones to make that happen. Sit down, eat what you can stomach and sleep when you can. It does end, honest.

Empem288 · 20/07/2015 23:08

Good evening viroids.. Grin Think it's about time I jumped on before La disappears off and is unable to add me to the FB group... What do I need to do?

I've been lolling along at you/with you every eve for the last 22 wks Shock

Will try add stats tomo off work PC but here goes briefly.. 39 (40 next month) 1 DD 14 Shock 1 MMC 04/14 & 1 MC 11/14 now 26 wks today dd 26/10 with DD... Nowt brief bout that!

Honey I'm a huge knork owner n find my cleavage now joins my should tips... All the excess meets round my throat. Only thing I find helps is sleep on side (I wake up everytime I move) them sports bra tops (tasda £4) n tightish t-shirt.

Sorry for ramble Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 20/07/2015 23:26

Hi empem! Are you a lurker? I always wonder how many folk read our shite ramblings that we don't know about! Just pm me your email address. Lots of the others are admins too if anyone needs to know - lil, purple, zyla, wil etc

Loving the references to my good fisting! Honestly she nearly pushed me off the table it was that fearsome! Luckily I've a hardened fanjita.

Sky I love that! I've already told Dh I want him to play a drum roll when MiniLa is almost out

Rhi - 'ga-normous' Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 20/07/2015 23:27

Oh and anyone struggling with first tri - yes it's knackering! Naps!!

Empem288 · 20/07/2015 23:37

I am or was indeed a lurker.. Bet there's a fair few others too! Normally can't get past 9.30pm so catch up day after but 1st trim insomnia has returned so am restless n gonna be asleep at my desk come 10.30am tomo Confused

I'll pm you now

pretzelpieces · 20/07/2015 23:38

deeplybaffled · 20/07/2015 23:39

Anyone really struggling with tiredness might want to get their iron levels checked too - mine plummeted between bloods at 12 weeks and those at about 25 weeks, despite preg vitamins, and i felt better after adding an iron supplement. Might be worth checking it out?

pretzelpieces · 20/07/2015 23:48

Welcome em! Epic lurking there Wink

deeplybaffled · 21/07/2015 00:02

Viroids - has anyone else suffered with serious itching during the third tri? I've always had mild eczema, but this last week or so, everything itches - my scalp, legs, arms, ribs and bump. Not my palms or soles of feet, so not too worried about cholestasis, but the itching is driving me crazy. Not sure if it is heat related, pregnancy related, both or neither, so any advice welcome...and any cures!

LaLaLaaaa · 21/07/2015 03:16

Deeply yes that's common, I have had it particularly at night. Trick is to shower before bed and whatever you do don't scratch. As soon as you scratch then you're in vicious cycle of scratching. I have E45 by my bed

It is worth mention to mw as they will do routine bile salt blood test check to ensure its not CO

Toast85 · 21/07/2015 04:09

Hooray for another October baby em! Welcome!

I'm due bloods with mw this week so will see if they show low iron.

Yes to the itching too! Fairly mild here but it's a definite thing! Arms, bump, back, ribs and chest mainly for me.

Ok I have another one for symptom bingo- thread veins anyone? Have 2 small collections of tiny ones on my leg which were there before but have grown, and also new ones on my collarbone/neck area which are more like a speckly rash.

batfish · 21/07/2015 06:17

Ah purple glad you've ok'd things with your mum - glad they support your choices and don't agree with your crazy aunt. They sound lovely especially saying don't be worrying as it's not good for baby purple, very true. Don't let some silly old woman with beliefs from the dark ages make you feel bad.

Had the sicky thing again last night Sad I did have a Rennie before bed and went to sleep feeling fine but then woke up to coughing a bit of sick into my mouth, so gross. Then couldn't sleep for ages as every time I laid down again I felt like stomach contents were right at the back of my throat waiting to come out again. I had gone to sleep a bit propped up as well but it must not have helped. In the end the only way I could sleep without feeling like it was going to happen again was on my back - not ideal I know but side sleeping was not doing it for me last night! I think I'm going to have to try eating only a light meal early in the evening. Which is not very good timing when I'm going out for steak tonight Shock Mr bat trying to make me call the doctor and I keep telling him it's not life or death and I can't call the doc about every little pregnancy niggle - which to be fair I have been very lucky to mostly avoid up to now. He gets v annoyed with me when I won't speak to the doctor! We are seeing him tomorrow anyway so I'm sure he will make me tell him but I can't see what he will say other than don't eat a big or late evening meal, eat Rennies and prop myself up.

Toast85 · 21/07/2015 06:35

Oh not nice bat! I read that just propping your head up isn't always enough, as then you bend in the middle so your stomach is more squashed anyway- apparently the thing to do is to raise the head of the bed on bricks (or something similar), about 10cm, so your body is still aligned but the whole thing is tilted. No expert though and not tried it as thankfully haven't needed to. Also like you say about not eating/drinking late.

Toast85 · 21/07/2015 06:36

Although going out for steak does sound good! Is it still Ramadan?
Hope you have a better night tonight.

batfish · 21/07/2015 07:16

No Ramadan is over, woohoo! Will try propping back up as well as head then, thanks for the tip.

Although I think I may have bigger problems on my hands - just messaged mr bat to ask how he feels about babysitting on 30th October as Take That are here and I want to go.....he replied saying 'whose baby'?? Shock Shock Shock

LaLaLaaaa · 21/07/2015 07:54

Ooh I love take that! Bat gaviscon is better than Rennies for the reflux at night - I just have a small swig and it fixes it, plus 3 pillows.

Toast - yes to thread veins. Also another weird pregnancy thing I get are skin tags. Loads of them

Still pregnant...not had much sleep as I was woken up by pains that felt like contractions at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep. Typically they've now gone!

LaLaLaaaa · 21/07/2015 07:54

Good luck today for scans - is it honey and pretzel?
