Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

dulcet MAN you fucking hero!!!!! That's just beyond awesome, you totally nailed it! Forget the fact he was back to back and eeeenormous, sounds like there was no way you were going to get that little chunk out from his positioning and size. You totally rocked that labour, got to full dilation with g&a and paracetamol? I love how we've had a few birth stories recently where things haven't gone to plan but the mother still comes away feeling like they controlled everything as best they could and totally owned it, whatever the circumstances. It gives me so much confidence reading them. Was the counting through contractions a lazy daisy thing? I haven't heard of that.

I'm so pleased for you and hope you recover really well from your section. It must be so wonderful having him out and safe and brilliant news that he loves the boobies!! Yay, I'm so chuffed for you Mrs!!!! ThanksThanksThanks

Lookingforadvice123 · 18/07/2015 08:43

Aw dulcet congratulations Star you star, you're clearly nails doing all that labour on virtually no pain relief. Another birth story I was able to read and enjoy, reassuring to hear that forceps only left a graze as they're one of my big fears!

WilHarlot · 18/07/2015 08:52

Ah rubbish La, hope the shagging works!

Good luck at toddler birthday party! I have been at a couple recently which surprisingly weren't too bad.

Epic story Dulcet! Shows how our interpretation of events can be so skewed by the pain aswell. Hope you're enjoying your lovely boy - you can come and join in with our size-related 'comments bingo' on the other thread as I'm sure you'll get some classics!

CountryGal4 · 18/07/2015 09:02

dulcet you fucking hero. Be proud woman and if dh didn't know before he should lay down at you feet due to awesomeness. Congrats on the chunk

No sex since bfp either - frightened dh s penis will poke loose bean Confused ( I'm aware of a childish that sound!)

Fleurchamp · 18/07/2015 09:05

Wow Dulcet you hero

That is some size baby, he looks gorgeous Grin

It's really great to hear that, although things did not go the way you wanted you still came out of it feeling positive.

Congratulations Flowers

RhiannonElward · 18/07/2015 09:06

Dulcet you should get a badge and certificate in my opinion. Massive congratulations on a job done heroically and a squidgy little guy to snuggle Smile Reading your birth story was lovely and I'm even more excited for my turn now Grin

DulcetMoans · 18/07/2015 09:13

Thanks all! It really was a labour of two halves - the first half was how I wanted it to go in my mind and I was a goddess. Second half shows how little control we actually have sometimes! But really hope you find it positive rather than scary if you are waiting for your first.

I'm feeling surprisingly chipper ga, not sure why. Have probably slept about three hours since Thursday on and off but maybe it's the adrenaline. We are here until tomorrow at least, could be up to 5 days with his antibiotics. Have to see how he goes.

There have been none stop comments in the hospital wil. Was fine to begin with and we all found it funny but getting more protective now - it's not his fault! I should never have eaten those magnums!

I didn't do lazy daisy indigo, my breathing is from yoga. The basic ones I used were breathing in for three through your nose, out for four through your mouth. Baby gets oxygen then more than carbon monoxide. Then I did this 'birthday candles' one when they wanted me to breath through a contraction - that's basically three short breaths and one long to try stop you pushing.

Forceps and cannula were two things I really didn't want either looking, but both were fine for me. Cannula was one of the worse things actually - not putting it in or out but adding fluid to it as I could feel it.

Nice to hear there were some similar stories, great to see you here again horace, I did one finally!

I can totally imagine that is what hospital teams do chat. The team here were so excited about a massive baby! Everyone was having a look and everyone that had seen me when I came in couldn't believe he was in there as bump didn't look big enough.

I haven't really had the full story yet la but he must have turned in labour I think as he has been in the same position for so long and would have been fine. Plus, it was only picked up at 10cms and they had done an internal twice before then. He just had no chance of being able to get his head around the u-bend, even at an average weight!

Huge congrats Dulcet he's a gorgeous one! Well done on your birth too, such a great birth story, thanks for sharing.
Enjoy the newborn snuggles Smile

FurryScoob · 18/07/2015 09:15

Wow, congratulations on your baby growing dulcet & well done on getting him out safely, like others have said you deserve a medel!
Well done to mrdulcet too Flowers

la don't take too much notice of the predicted birth weight, I was told at a scan at 37 weeks miniscoob was 7lb & would easily be over 9lb if I went overdue. She was born at 41+11 weighing 6lb 8oz.

CountryGal4 · 18/07/2015 09:24

Very positive dulcet

LaLaLaaaa · 18/07/2015 09:34

This was day before yesterday furry - scan showed he has v long legs :)

I don't mind tbh just want to meet him now Smile

pretzelpieces · 18/07/2015 09:47

Indigoblue2 · 18/07/2015 09:52

Congrats jelly - big milestone and good luck today honey Smile

SecondCupOfTea · 18/07/2015 09:58

Wow, amazing birth story Dulcet. Now don't take this the wrong way...but I'd prefer a sneeze birth like Fleur Grin

batfish · 18/07/2015 10:00

My God dulcet well done you're amazing! So glad you're feeling happy about your experience even though it wasn't what you would have wanted - as long as you and baby are healthy at the end of it then whatever happened to get there means it was a success as far as I'm concerned!

Yay jelly congrats on 12 weeks, can't believe you're there already! Shock

RPopz · 18/07/2015 10:23

Dulcet you flipping legend!! Shock He is a big gorgeous boy!

Purpleball · 18/07/2015 11:04

Dulcet what a hero! Well done lovie Smile

RhiannonElward · 18/07/2015 11:27

Oh my God, my piles are awful again! I'm walking like I've shit my knickers and I think I have a water infection too. I'm going on a picnic in an hour :(

I took paracetamol and applied some germoloids cream and am hoping to be able to get through his afternoon.

LaLaLaaaa · 18/07/2015 11:46

Honey - hope everything's ok xx

Rhi - that sounds utterly miserable :( I've only got a little one and its freaking me out enough. Hope your picnic is fun

Everyone at my nct group and fit mummy group are sharing their pics of their babies with me to cheer me up. They are so lovely because they are trying to make me feel excited/positive to help but unfortunately it seems to be having the opposite effect and is making me feel more frustrated that mines not here yet. I'm trying desperately to overhaul my brain today to being as excited as I was a week ago! I know that the more stressed I feel the less likely I'll go into labour. It's like catch 22 Smile

It's really hard though when you're on your own with too much time to think. I think I'll sit in nursery and go through all the tiny clothes again coz that might bring the oxytocin on.

I've run out of RLT so need more - been drinking 2 cups a day.

The brilliant news is I now seem to be able to sleep again! I slept from 11-7 last night, getting up twice for wee but going straight to sleep again each time. I feel a million times less exhausted and weepy as a result!

Tried to find someone to go to cinema with tonight but everyone's busy. So I am going to treat myself to a bath, a film and some chocolate.

I just need to get today out the way and then I've got Dh home 3 days to keep me company and help me take my mind off it all.

Honestly - in my mind I know almost everyone goes overdue and this is perfectly normal, but for some reason I'm really struggling with it!

Purpleball · 18/07/2015 11:49

Aww La sending hugs, I'd be fed up too. Hopefully not much longer, keeping bouncing on your ball and twiddling those nips

Purpleball · 18/07/2015 11:49

Oh and I have what resembles a bunch of grapes between my arse cheeks Confused

batfish · 18/07/2015 12:17

Awww la hope minila comes soon to cheer you up again! And just because most people go overdue it doesn't mean that you should find it easy, I'm sure it's normal to feel fed up. Don't feel bad about not being excited right now, you will be again as soon as things start happening and then when you meet your boy it will be amazing, sending lots of labour-y thoughts your way!

Well I thought it was a good idea to invite friends over for dinner tonight but I've tired myself out doing the supermarket shop and I totally can't be arsed even putting the shopping away let alone cooking. I'm doing nachos with melted cheese etc for snack then lasagne with salad and garlic bread and berries with yogurt and meringue for dessert so nothing complicated but the thought of standing up in the kitchen and chopping stuff isn't making me very excited right now!

gaggiagirl · 18/07/2015 12:25

bat sounds delish!
I'm taking kiddo to a gymnastics party and I've had precisely no sleep. Then have to go on a hen do tonight. Urgh.

LaLaLaaaa · 18/07/2015 12:27

Gaggia - can you fit in nap time?

Bat - sounds nice! Can you sit down at kitchen table to chop? If you prep now you can nap before they arrive!
