Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

Appt was okay. Long and short of it: TinyChat was perfect.

All chromosomes present and correct, no infection, anatomically normal, inside and out. He was a bit little but not abnormally so, placenta was also a touch on the small side. Cord was abnormally inserted (velamentous insertion), which is uncommon but wouldn't cause SB in itself. No concrete evidence of an abruption, but with the labour history and how pale he was that remains the most likely cause.

There wasn't anything that should have been done during pregnancy that wasn't, the only thing that would have prompted delivery while he was still alive is hindsight. (We both had a tear in our eye at that point) Recurrence risk is low but not nil and we have a plan for a future pregnancy (involving a shit ton of tests and a preterm IOL at a gestation tbc...but not after 35w).

AND, most importantly, the green light to go ahead and get shagging!

chat I'm glad you got your results, must have been so hard for you. Good news that future pregnancies should hopefully be ok and it sounds like you will receive very good care when the time comes. Sorry you didn't get a proper and definite reason as to why it happened though, I guess that would have been reassuring in some way.

Hope you are doing ok la, before you know it your baby will be here, the very end of pregnancy sounds like pure torture!

Sorry viroids haven't caught up on the thread, wanted to update you on my scan.

chat glad you got the green light to try again but, as ever, I'm so sorry about babychat. Life is so unfair.

Everything was fine, phew. We've spent £104 at the private scan place over the course of 8 weeks but it's worth every penny to be reassured. Same report as last time I had spotting - no bruising or signs of anything wrong with the sac or placenta, so must be a cervical erosion that's causing it. Pretty much what the GP said as he said its hormonal. After the relief we had some excitement...we know the sex! I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and baby is measuring just over 16 weeks...it's a boy! I was convinced it was. So exciting.
