Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Aww zyla why not head over to the undergrads to get yourself ready Wink

I want to be a SAHM, I don't think I will though. We are looking at buying a bigger house (no idea why, we have a 3 bed place which is plenty big enough for us, sprog and two cats) which means more mortgage. Plus where we are looking to buy, the travel is literally twice the amount we pay now (about an extra £500 a month). So unless I can convince DP we shouldn't move yet, I don't think i'll be able to quit work. I couldn't give a toss about not coming back to my job because I am looking at a career change anyway!

Ok, so now not only do I want a KFC, but I also want a Subway. Thanks guys! I had two roast beef rolls and a packet of quavers, washed down with two oranges for lunch. Not exactly healthy lol! I might have to convince DP to get KFC tonight ;)

Fleurchamp · 14/07/2015 13:50

Ooh zyla you're still in it....

I was chatting to a woman in the coffee shop the other day, she has 15 month old twins and is 8 months pregnant with a singleton. She did say she had a nervous moment before her first scan in case it was another set of twins...

What does everyone think is the best age gap? hark at her who hasn't even dropped her first there are two years between me and my sister which I think is pretty nice. DH is keen to get cracking on #2 pretty soon after this one Shock as he doesn't want to be an old dad.

Pant watch update: it's not liquid, it's mucus - whiteish. Midwife said it sounds like the start of my plug coming away and it's up to me if I want to come in. I think I will put my feet up and make a decision in an hour or so.

DulcetMoans · 14/07/2015 13:52

Eurgh, subway! I reject subway! The smell of the place puts me off.

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 14/07/2015 13:53

All the cross posts!

fleur, is it just like CM? I've had loads of that over the past few days but didn't think it was plug. Not discoloured or stringy at all.

Zyla I see, in fact I remember your post about it now. If you want a planned one then get planning :) close in age is lovely although I'd never manage that because I don't have a sex drive for months after having babies

honeysucklejasmine · 14/07/2015 13:57

Oooh, exciting! Age gap wise... About 3 years I think. One friend has 18 months, another five years. My sister is 3 years older, that always seemed nice. The real question is do we start trying after 1.5 years, in case it takes ages again? Wink

Jelly where are you looking? We have a three bed too. We are planning on staying put until we have two, at least. There's not much room downstairs but we should be fine.

MollyBloomYes · 14/07/2015 13:58

I'm impressed with the foof stretching indigo though it's making me wince. Maybe I need to get on that when are you supposed to start using it?

Thursday loving the look of the cake. I think there might be ice cream . I shall investigate whilst feral boy is asleep .I also think you might be me, could be my story with work! Very burnt out ex teacher here, I'll return to something once kids are in school but probably retrain teaching made me miserable by the end.

Met my midwife today! Had to be booked in by someone else as she was ill so nice to finally meet her. She seems lovely but don't see her again til 28 weeks now so probably won't make each others Christmas card lists. Heard the heartbeat which was awesome .

Good luck to all the due dated lovelies! Get bouncing and nip twiddling!

Purpleball · 14/07/2015 14:24

Jury's not out yet Zyla, any symptoms?

Molly, hurray for happy midwife visit and heart beat

Growth scan was fine here, he's still a he and he's still a whopper. Almost 5lbs at 30 weeks Grin. Consultant is very happy, gave me a well done for everything so I'm happy. BP 110/70 so all good there too. If he carries on at 250g a week then he'll be a good 9lbs at 38 weeks and would have been 10lbs full term eeek!
He's still breech so could be a section if I go into spontaneous labour, although there is still time to turn

Purpleball · 14/07/2015 14:25

Oh and we are thinking 2 year age gap minimum but hopefully no more due to my age. Think we will start trying after 1st birthday.
Sadly it does depend on finances though so I'm still saving like mad

MollyBloomYes · 14/07/2015 14:28

Blimey purple! You'll be going straight for 0-3 months clothes then!

honeysucklejasmine · 14/07/2015 14:33

Molly I think a lot of us are or were teachers! Can't imagine why we wouldn't want to go back! Wink

Yay Purple! What a whopper you've got in there!

I've got my early scan on Saturday. Terrified but trying not to think about it!

gaggiagirl · 14/07/2015 14:36

dulcet the solicitor was jolly good today everything back on track. Phew!
I love KFC but since I've been preggers I cant finish a meal there.
honey Rhiannon I'll take your subways orders though. Yum!
molly did the heart beat sound like a train or a horse?...this is important so try and remember Wink
zyla sorry about the bfn but at least you know how much you want another.
indigo I'm in awe of your vaginal dimensions! No tearing for you lass.
fleur this is exciting! How do you feel?
bat cheese has been purchased.
Pic for those that can see it...

jellypi3 · 14/07/2015 14:37

Wow purple that's impressive Grin

honey we are looking to move further away from London, near the Essex/Suffolk border. My grandparents are coming with us, and it'll near DP's parents so lots of childcare options but still so expensive to travel from!

Age gap wise, DP doesn't want more than 2 years. He had 3 years between him and sister, which was fine, but it was 6 years between him and his brother which he said meant they never really formed much of a bond. So if we have 3 kids as he is planning we would have a 2 and 4 year gap.

gaggiagirl · 14/07/2015 14:39

purple that's lovely. Any pictures?
honey we want your scan pics too!

jellypi3 · 14/07/2015 14:45

dulcet i can't believe you don' like Subway!

To be fair I feel like that about KFC. I will eat it if someone buys it for me but can't go in there or walk past it. I used to work next door to a KFC and the smell was horrible!

jellypi3 · 14/07/2015 14:46

that cheese on toast looks amazing ga! :)

Purpleball · 14/07/2015 15:02

Can't get pics anymore Ga he's too big!
I think some of the newborn clothes will get bypassed. I'll take newborn and 0-3 to hospital though

DulcetMoans · 14/07/2015 15:19

Glad it's all back on track ga, did you have to kick some ass?! And you have cheese, successful day!

I drive past a KFC to go home quite often and it smells lush jelly. But subway... Don't even know what that smell is! I think it's probably because smell made me feel sick first time I was pregnant and haven't let that feeling go.

Yeah molly, boy or girl heartbeat!?

DH just did it again! Talking to him about child are vouchers and he's all 'if you go back'. It's not an IF, I need to go back! Silly man, I know he is just trying to give me the option but it's not realistic. Anyone else getting child are vouchers through employer?

OP posts:
jellypi3 · 14/07/2015 15:24

Yeah we get vouchers but I think they are ending when the changes to the free childcare allowance comes in

LaLaLaaaa · 14/07/2015 15:31

Oh my god you guys have talked loads!!!

We've been for pub lunch and I started getting what feel like early contractions on the way, but again they could just be false alarm so I'm not getting my hopes up! Had fish and chips and I'm back home bouncing on ball and doing rotate to dilate exercises.

Ok - to catch up:

Tea - you can have blue cheese if its cooked!

Bat - has baby moved more? Sometimes when I'm busy I don't notice it so lie down and realise it's been moving fine. If you're worried call it in though!

Purple - yes, very weird! We've just been talking about that in pub

Fleur - the CM ramps up in final few weeks, I'm on 3 liners a day now :(. So it could just be that?

Work - our plan is to head home to Scotland and open a business from home with my mum who's moving back with us. I'd still do consultancy part time and dh would work full time in his job until business got going.

Eventually we will both work in the business

But got to save up initially to afford to buy the business so I will likely need to go back to work for a year, unless bank gives us a business loan.

I feel burned out too tee - that thread this morning is an example of the negative shite I get on a daily basis and I'm tired. Love what I do but it's exhausting

I don't want to be a SAHM but I also want to be around as much as possible when my babies are little so wfh will allow that. If I go back to work for year I'll do compressed hours

I'm gonna to try for another after year too as I don't want big gap between them

Gaggia - no cheese is my nightmare

Indigo - that's impressive!!!!!

Yuck to KFC!

Zyla - clearblue? You should know better gal! Get ye a frer!

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 15:46

I know about the clearblues, I know! But Tesco didn't have anything else and couldn't go to the chemist cos we know the guy in there! I was sick this morning, but we went to the seaside yesterday, so may well have been because of that Grin. I don't think I am now I got a bfn.

ThursdayLast · 14/07/2015 15:48

I'm totally with you on the smell of Subway Dulcet makes me feel like I've got MS even when I'm not pregnant! It's grim.

I'm also really over KFC - I think our local franchise isn't very good. I haven't even craved it for over a year maybe.

Tonight DH & I are having one of those ridiculously good value for money supermarket curry meal deal things. Now thats what I'm talking about Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 14/07/2015 15:55

Eugh. I have tried to nap but no luck. I feel like my boobs are suffocating me every time I lay down!

Last Brownies of the year tonight so we are having a party... Which means get there early, leave late try not to vomit Fun all round.

MollyBloomYes · 14/07/2015 16:09

Curry, subway, KFC...you guys are killing me. Trying so hard not to put on as much weight as last time but oh my goodness the need for grease!

I'm gonna say horse at this stage, which ones that? Midwife reckons team pink cos of the headaches and sickness. And that is how my Mil ended up a little disappointed with my bil's arrival, so much sickness she was convinced he was a girl!

bat is there more movement?

LaLaLaaaa · 14/07/2015 16:21

Catch up continued:

Molly - hooray for horse! Mine sounded like train and sure enough it's a boy

Purple - fantastic about scan Grin mines meant to be big too. We will find out soon

Ga great news about house! When's exchange happening?

I love subway but I'm veggie so it's a bit rubbish!

Dulcet we can get child care vouchers but I don't understand it. Can you explain?
