Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Child care costs a bastard fortune though. If I for instance earned £5.50p a month then DDs nursery bill would come to £4.00 a month. Thank god she starts school soon. I'll worry about the new baby later. Meh.

batfish · 14/07/2015 11:46

Boooo for no cheese ga! I had cheese toasties and piccalilli for dinner again last night Smile

rpopz I technically am exempt from ramadan but when there are people fasting in the office and nobody else is having anything I don't want to be the one sat here eating and drinking. However the fasting people are on reduced hours so finish at 3 which is in 15 mins and then we are allowed so I will be having coffee and chocolate very soon! Hopefully baby just a bit tired after an energetic few days! I have felt a few little tiny wriggles (like the tickly pops and bubble feelings) just less than there have been recently and no big kicks. So it isn't no movement - just less. Hopefully baby will be bashing my ribs in before too long!

batfish · 14/07/2015 11:48

I thought about quitting work as we could afford for me not to - although that was before mr bat became temporarily unemployed! But I like my job and I've been studying for my accountancy exams and I feel that if I quit then I will probably never get back into the exams etc and it will all have been for nothing. Also the whole point of us living a million miles away from family is that we get to save money and if I don't work then savings will be drastically reduced and ideally we want to put more away for the future. However that is me as a non mum talking, maybe I will love the idea of being a SAHM when I have a child!

teejayem · 14/07/2015 11:49

I was told they the 24hours thing was the same for leaky waters fleur; my hind waters were leaking even though I hadn't dialated at all, and it wasn't until I'd been in labour for 15 hours that the mw popped the rest of them. Mine didn't smell of anything, but were a bit gory. If nothing else if you go in they'll probably monitor you for a bit: they picked up tiny contractions when I went in and subsequent japery with tiny tee so even if I hadn't have gone into proper labour they said they would bring me back to be induced the following lunchtime....

Mr tee doesn't want me to go back to work either. To be fair I don't really want to go back either and childcare is absurd here, the cost aside, TT would have to be in from 7-7 and I really hate the thought of being away from him all day with strangers. We're downsizing the house and going to see how we manage somewhere smaller, if we can't manage then, I'll look for something part time and local I think. Not too fussed about career, I've done plenty of cool things since I've been working and if I'm honest burned out a few years ago and subsequently lost most of my ambition as a result. We will miss the money though, we earn roughly the same so halving the household income is a bit of a gulp.

Right! Let's have some of these babies viroids!

Indigoblue2 · 14/07/2015 12:12

Happy due date la!!!

bat I know it's a worry. I've had a few days like that myself where I can feel something but it's not the usual energetic stuff. Prodding my belly repeatedly and changing position lots usually helps get her going. And like others have said the cold drink and lying on left side too.

I can so imagine why folk are considering not going back to work! Must be so hard thinking of someone else looking after TT tee for that length of time. Although I know some nurseries are amazing and do a wonderful job, but I suppose it's not the same as doing it yourself. I've only got cover for a temporary period of time, January for one of my covers and the other is a bit more flexible. I'd like to go back to two or three days for a while and hopefully MIL can have her for those days or she can come with me. It's hard being self employed as I've built up a client base and don't want to lose it!

NFMV - Epi No..... So I started at 6.5, I think that was 5 days ago. Who wants to take a punt at what I'm up to now doing once daily stretches???

Purpleball · 14/07/2015 12:12

Giving up work isn't an option for me. I wish it was. Never thought I'd say that. I do love my job when it's calm but the stress can be awful
I'm hoping 10 months out will refresh my zest for it. Part time will help though Smile

DulcetMoans · 14/07/2015 12:23

Oh I love a gamble indigo. I am going to go on the basis that it is slow progress and say 6.8!

How is there no cheese in the house ga?! That could not happen here. Are you having trouble with solicitor still?

We can't be in the same NCT group then fleur as none of us have had their baby since the early arrival at 34 weeks!

That is a long old stint at nursery tee but maybe not too bad if it wasn't every day. One of my friends used mat leave to see if they could do it - didn't spend the enhanced benefits and found it was liveable so never went back. Hopefully you will find the same. doesn't have to be forever either! I might hold out until we maybe have another one and see if we can do it then. Obviously need this one out first!

popz - I think I'm having a KFC for lunch! Just talking myself into it.

OP posts:
RPopz · 14/07/2015 12:33

Are we talking centimetres here indigo??

You don't have to be induced after 24 hours fleur - you can opt out as long as you keep an eye on your temp and there's no signs of infection. I think they leave it 48 hours here.

Arggh Dulcet!! Now I want KFC. No decent food in and no moneys til tomorrow! Waah.

I'd be shit at being a SAHM. I spend money like nobodies business....

RPopz · 14/07/2015 12:34

Hope it flushes miniDulcet out though Wink

Indigoblue2 · 14/07/2015 12:44

Ooh dulcet you are forgetting I am stretchy bucket fanny GrinGrin

Yes popz cms, should have made that clear! And I checked back and this is actually only day four, I started stretching on the 10th.

Day one: 6.5cm
Day two: 7cm
Day three: 7.5cm
Day four: I've blasted it out today at just shy of 8cm!! BlushBlush

I actually phoned the distributor to check I was doing it right. It seems too easy to be stretching this much but she said what I'm doing is what they recommend and hormones make women stretchier at this end of pregnancy. I do have a feeling it's going to be smaller graduations from now to 10cm though. When I inflate it up to 10 I can't imagine managing that size Shock

batfish · 14/07/2015 12:49

Ooh indigo tell us how big! We're going to be so jealous when your baby accidentally slides out in your sleep! Maybe you should get a large fanjo cork in case you get too good at it Grin

Indigoblue2 · 14/07/2015 12:50

bat cross post - see below for my vaginal dimensions!

SecondCupOfTea · 14/07/2015 12:54

Indigo I'm going for 7.3 even though I have no bloody clue what the scale is

Just scoffed a cheddar and gherkin sarnie on lovely soft bloomer bread gherkin is not a craving, we've been close friends for many years I'm also trying some fresh decaf coffee, which isn't as bad as I thought it would be Hmm

Shocking revelation: I've never got the appeal of KFC, to me deep fried chicken is too greasy

SecondCupOfTea · 14/07/2015 12:55

Oh...I was too late with my guess I blame DP for phoning me while I was typing

Lookingforadvice123 · 14/07/2015 12:59

Happy due date la!

3 weeks bf only sounds fine (as long as I can do it)! Otherwise will have no qualms to switching to formula.

Is anyone going back full time after baby? I will most likely, or 4 days at the least. Hoping to do 1 day working from home as standard, so I can keep my full time salary but will still be at home and therefore working a shorter day overall.

My employer is very flexible and child friendly, I have 31 days annual leave plus a week at Christmas, and as much flexi time as I can accrue, otherwise I don't think I would consider going back full time. Most mums I work with are either full time or 4 days, my type of work doesn't really allow for less unless I wanted to switch to a less "exciting" department!

Dh and I are also very lucky that we will only need 2 days a week nursery maximum due to very generous and local grandparents!

DulcetMoans · 14/07/2015 13:01

I'm in the car wash! Making me need a wee!

I am disappointed in my guess now indigo but very impressed with your vagina! I think you should aim for 10cm.

I will eat it for you then popz. Tower burger I think...

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 13:14

Ok, I POAS and it was a bfn! I'm a bit disappointed! MrZ breathed a sigh of relief and said it was too soon. At least I know I want another now (I think!) lol

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 13:14

Though was a clearblue not a frer, will do another in a few days to check

RhiannonElward · 14/07/2015 13:27

Oh Dulcet! Shh! I am now desperate for KFC. I'll have a 3 piece original recipe meal please, and for extra self-hate I'll have a large gravy and mini fillet burger on the side. Ooh that would be good. Followed by about 25 Rennie and I might not even be sick.

I'm a SAHM, I worked full time until 2 weeks before my eldest was born and went back to one shift a week between DS and DD. Getting people to look after 2 is not so easy though and I had to give up altogether. I worked evenings and DP drives buses so his shift times are all over the place. There was no child care available at night so I had to leave work. To be honest though I genuinely don't know how those who work cope with all the time off needed for when kids are ill, school hols and inset days. There always seems to be something up. Also I love being able to make every school concert and being the one to look after my little ones when they're ill. I will be going back when they're older as we need the money, but little ones grow too quickly and I want to miss as little of their childhoods as possible.

RhiannonElward · 14/07/2015 13:29

sorry Zyla, cross post. Give it a few days and try again to be sure. Gx for you, how many dpo are you today?

honeysucklejasmine · 14/07/2015 13:37

Lol Zyla, you are naughty! (By not using a FRER in the first place)

Very impressive Indigo! Well done you.

I had subway for lunch. Italian BMT. Gherkins, onion, tomato, lettuce, sweet onion sauce. foot long Yum! Hit the spot!

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 13:47

rhiannon I havent had a period since having H yet! It was just a highly thought after being careless. To be fair it'd be better if it was planned anyways :)

ZylaB · 14/07/2015 13:48

*niggly thought

RhiannonElward · 14/07/2015 13:48

Honey you can shut up too Grin I could brutally murder a BMT on hearty Italian bread, with extra cheese jalapeños and honey and mustard sauce. I only had jam on toast for dinner and it was nice but you lot are putting it to shame. I'm going to have to do something awesome for tea to compensate.

DulcetMoans · 14/07/2015 13:50

Oh zyla, booo! But mainly to the lack of FR! See what happens next week, then you can plan!

As I should have expected, I have eaten the chips and had about a quarter of the burger and now I am too full to go on. What a stupid, greedy idea! I think giving out the rennies with the meal deal would work rhi!

Might look to do condensed hours looking so full time into four with a day from home so three days in the office. But all down to if they let me! My director is amazing, my line manager... Not so much.
