Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Happy due date la. Not long for you now fleur dulcet are you having any progress?
I slept a bit and woke up to DD pulling at my eyelid with her tiny fingers. She was 'helping mamma to wake up time' mamma wanted to be left alone.

LaLaLaaaa · 14/07/2015 09:12

Fleur I would second sticking pad in to monitor it. It could be waters leaking as they don't always gush. Sorry to sound gross but if you sniff pad it will either smell of pee or apparently waters smell sweet. If waters have broken you need to phone mw to let them know.

We are so close!

couldntbebothered · 14/07/2015 09:16

Just delurking to wave Pom poms for la, dulcet and fleur Grin

CarrotPuff · 14/07/2015 09:18

Bat yay for water! What a nightmare!

La did you try sleeping with a pillow or two between your legs?

Dulcet yay for cat being back, she's v cute!

Pretzel sorry you're feeling pants, I hope ms disappearing for a bit means it's on its way out.

Looking how exciting, feeling movements is the best part of being pg IMO!

Chat Flowers

I'm not being sick, but quite nauseaus a lot of the time. And I'm only 5w Confused it is quite reassuring though as I didn't have it with the pg I mc, so I'll try not to complain too much

I wanted to post much more but still away so no time. I hope I'll have a proper catch up once I'm back on Sat!

RhiannonElward · 14/07/2015 09:21

Morning viroids, hope you feel better soon Ga, and boo for hip pain La.

Chat you're doing fab and you amaze me Flowers

As for the bf debate, I've been on both sides of it. When DS I was struggling and devastated, I was in agony with bleeding nipples and feeding felt like putting them in a cheesegrater. I eventually got mastitis which abscessed and I had to go to hospital to get it drained and the wound which remained took 3 months to heal. It was bad. On DD I had sensible help and though I struggled to start with again, the initial pain went away when my midwife found out she was tongue tied. She got that sorted the next day and I fed her brilliantly after that until she was over two years old. I loved the experience and she's a very healthy little girl. I will say only that if you are wanting to breastfeed and it hurts, get help that day. I had lactation consultants coming out to see me and even spent the night in my local MLU to get the help. If the help doesn't make it better, move on and get on the formula, and don't feel bad Smile

Also I missed the corn snake thing. We had one and it escaped twice, we have young children and it didn't concern me one bit. They're very placid even when grumpy, he never bit anyone. We found him both times easily, turns out he's not the best at hide and seek. I find it quite funny that a woman could think it'd eat her baby! Bit of a step up from mice and baby rats I reckon.Hmm

ChatEnOeuf · 14/07/2015 09:24

My DD was one of those bottle-refusers. Some just don't like them... Given, we didn't force it as it wasn't a necessity, so I don't know just how much she would have resisted, or how many different bottle brands we would have tried before she took one willingly.

Contractions are there for a purpose, you will all cope magnificently with them. If I can manage a breech delivery with no pain relief, anyone can. Don't recommend it though, take the drugs if you want them!

SecondCupOfTea · 14/07/2015 10:22

Ooh nice Thursday, I'll just have a small slice, thanks.

Happy Due Day La

So it seems that my Dr reckons that with a LMP of 07/06/15 I'm due on 14/03/15, which makes me currently 5+1, but I reckon I'm 5+3. I think I'll wait til the dating scan to work that one out.

Decided to make red onion and balsamic burgers for tea tonight, then had a little sniff when I realised I can't have blue cheese on mine sod it, I'll have cheddar and extra bacon instead

BTW Thursday I've fixed you 'weeks' data in the stats sheet (you hadn't used the formula and would have remained 4+5 forever Shock

RPopz · 14/07/2015 10:26

Lol at Morgan Freeman!! Try your best, that's all you can do Smile And don't be a hero, pain relief is there if you need it Smile I also used the "if daft 15 year olds can do it, so can I" line!

I would seriously love to not go back to work. I think we've got used to the money though... and I've spent so long building this career I don't know if it's wise to drop out of it...

Right, off to hunt out this cornsnake story! Sounds intriguing!

Brew and Biscuit to all the sicky/ tired/ achey / overdue viroids!

ThursdayLast · 14/07/2015 10:26

Thank you tea*, does it change for me? How clever!

batfish · 14/07/2015 10:30

Baby having a v quiet day today, it's been going crazy the last few days at all times of the day so it's worrying me a bit!

DulcetMoans · 14/07/2015 10:38

Keep an eye bat. Have a cold drink and a lay down and see if you feel any better.

Don't think we could afford it either popz, that's how it creeps into conversation, he disagrees. It would half our household income as we earn roughly the same. Big drop!

What a bugger fleur, I bet you were excited! MW have me three scenarios to ring get and waters breaking was one of them.

That dinner sounds lush tea! Much more exciting that anything I have planned!

Happy due date la! thursday made you a cake! Wink

Coffee and chocolate bat... works everytime! Ring in if you're not happy though!

RPopz · 14/07/2015 10:41

Dulcet - I make more than DH so really it'd make more sense for him to give up work if either of us were to... but I'm damned if he's having all the fun!!!

Purpleball · 14/07/2015 10:42

Bat have you had a cold drink and lay on your left? Failing that set an alarm clock - it wakes mine up Grin

Happy due date La, hope minila doesn't keep you waiting too long. Is it weird that in 2 weeks time you'll have had a baby?

Will have to look at cake later as I'm on the app.

Growth scan at 12, I'm wondering a bit about his growth as my bump looks the same but he's probably just in a different position

batfish · 14/07/2015 10:48

I've had a cold drink but am at work so can't lie down - can't have coffee and chocolate either because it's ramadan so the most I'm allowed I'd a glass of water in the kitchen Sad I have felt a few tiny movements just not much and no proper kicks today. Yesterday and last night very active though as it has been for a few days so maybe just having a lazy day! Hopefully will be back to normal later and I'll be wondering what I was worrying about, is it normal for them to have quiet days??

batfish · 14/07/2015 10:49

Oh happy due date la!!

ThursdayLast · 14/07/2015 10:51

Yy la deffo actually a due date cake Cake

RPopz · 14/07/2015 10:55

Are you not excused from ramadan for being pg bat?

Purpleball · 14/07/2015 10:59

Mine has quiet days and I never know when to worry. In certain positions I feel the movements less. Often though it's that some are more external so I feel them through my hand not internally and I've been busy so not sat with hand on bump if that makes sense.

If you're worried though you should get checked out

Fleurchamp · 14/07/2015 11:13

Have pad in and going for a walk. Will call hospital if sniff test does not conclusively confirm that I am in fact incontinent Sad

Meeting the last of the nct ladies who have not given birth. There are only 3 of us, the other two are overdue. They will be all ready to meet with their babies by the time this one comes out!

Cake looks delicious thursday

Happy due date la

bat mine goes through quiet phases. I have been making notes of movements for the past few days. But if you have any doubt at all get checked.

Fleurchamp · 14/07/2015 11:16

Re work

DH doesn't want me to go back either and financially, yes, we would be ok. My money pays for savings and luxuries really.

But I worked damn hard to get where I am and having a flexible job so close to home will be amazing once the little one is in school. I am going to try to go back 2 or 3 days a week to keep my hand in.

My area is pramsville though so I will need to start looking into childcare ASAP. I fear most of what I do earn will go straight to the nursery Confused

ThursdayLast · 14/07/2015 11:22

Totally worth it though Fleur if it's an investment into your future career.

I'm a SAHM mostly because I wanted to be, but also because I've never had a good enough job to warrant spending the nursery fees. I lack ambition rather.

My sort of vague life plan is to raise DS and this little bean to school age, then get on with some sort of retraining - I like the idea of vetinary nursing, but it seems terribly competitive.

honeysucklejasmine · 14/07/2015 11:26

I am going to be a SAHM most likely. It's what we want and we can just about survive on DHs salary if we are sensible.

However, my job is relatively well paid so if I can find a childminders at a reasonable rate then it would be worth it, even if just a day a week. But that's a long way off.

gaggiagirl · 14/07/2015 11:30

Beautiful cake Thursday.
I'm going to the solicitors again.
I'm completely fucked and want cheese on toast but have no cheese. Urgh.
bat ring your Dr if you're worried, let us know how you are.
