Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

sadly, it doesn't work with fruit....

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 18:54

Fleur - mw at hospital just told me that at 39 weeks I would expect to still fe movement same pattern as always but they will be more subtle due to baby not having as much space in there.

So I've been told to lie on side for 2 hours and pay attention to pattern. If baby not moving as much as usual then I'm to go in for monitoring. Is that what they said to you?

My baby is def moving but just not as pronounced.

God, I just don't know what to think now! It's all so stressful isn't it?

I am just going to keep an eye on things tonight and tomorrow morning and make a note of when I get movements.

I heard the baby's heartbeat and have felt him/her move all afternoon and so I need to chill out I think.

oneyorkshirepud · 07/07/2015 19:06

Wonderful scan news Jelly! So pleased for you!

JC, bloody good effort with the swimming. I still haven't braved any exercise since horrible first tri exhaustion - I'm scared it will come back! I used to exercise a lot so once I get to the hols I will start swimming/yogaing.

Would, don't worry about digis, notoriously unreliable I'm afraid.

Eris doing loads better. She did a proper poo today. I was so excited that I whatsapped it to my family. They don't seem to share my enthusiasm. Weird. Will put a picture on Facebook. (Of Eris, not the poo).

jellypi3 · 07/07/2015 19:07

Woo for normal kitty poo's pud Grin

Lookingforadvice123 · 07/07/2015 19:15

Great news jelly, and great pic! The time between now and your NHS 12 week scan will fly by now, and so will the time after! Our 12 week scan was almost 2 weeks ago already!

Solo tired today, I'm ok on the weekends but just doing a full day at work is knackering me, I'm 14+3 and waiting for this alleged burst of energy I'm supposed to get?! Don't know if it's made worse by the fact that I'm not exercising...managed a swim on Sunday and planned on going today but I was too tired and it took a friggin hour to drive home from work (10 miles)!

Toast85 · 07/07/2015 19:17

Gouda that is totally me. If I want something I MUST HAVE IT.

batfish · 07/07/2015 20:17

Yay for cat poo pud!

gouda I am totally like that, I had a big fatty lunch at work and then someone mentioned KFC and I NEEDED it even though was pretty full from fatty lunch. So I went on the way home and it was closed for refurbishment, I was so upset that I was driven into the arms of the nearby McDonald's, what an absolute pig. Let's just pretend I didn't then have a fruit and nut bar with a cuppa when I got home Blush

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 20:23

Hello!

Mountain 10lb - ouch!

Toast - love it! Bought healthy stuff but having fish and chips instead Grin you e just made me want fish and chips.

Actually what I really want is a double cheeseburger with fries. And I'm bloody vegetarian!

It really annoys me how inconsistent the advice we are given is. Last time I went for monitoring I was told call if ever you're concerned there's no wrong reason to call. This mw today was v dismissive and not very comforting at all. MiniLa has picked up though following a bath and lie down and is back to his usual pattern.

Last time it was as chat said - he'd changed position so movements felt different.

I've been told the thing about subdued movements now by a few different people, whereas others have said it's rubbish. I wish they'd all be consistent as you start doubting yourself when someone tells you something different

I'm very conscious of the movement thing because my friends baby reduced movement in final week and luckily she said something to mw and was monitored. baby was really unwell and had to be delivered straight away.

Fantastic undergrads news!!

Gouda - yes! I see certain foods and suddenly that's all I want! It's very odd Grin

Would digis are definitely not good measure of pregnancy levels. They just cause stress so I'd chuck em in the bin if I were you once you've had the positive result

Hooray for eris pud!!! Yay, she's a wee fighter!

I just got DH to take me to tesco. We bought a watermelon, a honeydew melon, a galia melon, some bananas, and a pot of pre cut melon and grapes.

Guess what I could face eating?

Pud yay for Eris!

WouldRatherHaveCake · 07/07/2015 20:51

I know you are all right, I just can't help it! I settled for peeing on an IC totally not my 8th test even though I know it says jack all really! Somebody hooyah me some sense. And on a side note I've eaten most of the bag of sports mix. Why can't I stop?!

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 20:59

Lol at the melons honey
I've craved fruit a lot, esp when out for dinner

Currently lying in the bath with some Sanctuary tummy soothing bath soak, only my giant belly is out of the water! Oh the irony Grin
Apologies for the mental image ladies Grin

DulcetMoans · 07/07/2015 21:00

That is an amazingly healthy shopping basket there honey.

We have all been guilty of that gouda, we are awful! It's how the magnums thing started. It's what is happening with scones today and now I want chippy chips because of toast! Weirdly the same hasn't happened with the melons I just read about...

cake, I would really try and curb the POAS if you can. We speak as people that have been drawn in and suffered with it before - the number won't go up, the line will get lighter and you will panic without really needing to.

Great news off Eris pud. Hopefully she's turned a corner now.

Calling the grads grads! Is there any chance we won't know if we are contracting? I have been getting a lot of downwards pressure, don't think it's a contraction but maybe I just wouldn't know!

honeysucklejasmine · 07/07/2015 21:10

Dulcet! That sounds exciting!

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 21:12

Ooh dulcet that sounds ominous Smile

DulcetMoans · 07/07/2015 21:18

Haha. Don't get too excited! I don't think it is, could be early labour pains but it's been a couple of days. Lots of pressure and pushing but no regularity. Wondering if I might actually be a magic women and be slowly getting through labour and wake up in the morning with a baby just laying peacefully next to me. I wouldn't have felt a thing!

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 21:30

Grin I'd vote for a labour like that

Jcandy · 07/07/2015 21:39

Wow lots to catch up on!

That would be great dulcet! Fingers crossed that's it Grin

I've put on 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks so I need to try and stop having as many chocolate biscuits!

pud I did have to sleep all afternoon after my swim but I'm still glad I went Smile

Just went to see if the silver cross pioneer would fit into the boot of my corsa hut it doesn't Sad I'm thinking maybe the mamas and papas armadillo flip XT instead

rm00054 · 07/07/2015 22:22

Dulcet I used to wonder that, but trust me you'll know when you're contracting Wink Did you have period pains with your periods? My early contractions felt much like that.

I will do my birth story for you all when I get a spare moment.
I'm still periodically lurking so I can get excited when the next babies are on their way. Lets have some babies this week!!

Toast85 · 07/07/2015 22:46

Maybe something's happening though dulcet? Even if you don't wake up next to a baby!

I've just seen a 'pizza cake' on Facebook. It looks immense. Deadly, but immense. Now I want pizza!
Yep, fish and chips were good. We made them healthy by sharing a large cod and regular chips between us and adding peas and lemon wedges coz we're posh. I also had strawberries and yoghurt, see totally healthy! and a chocolate trifle yoghurt pot thing too

honeysucklejasmine · 07/07/2015 22:50

I could totally go for a dirty pizza. With BBQ sauce and a stuffed crust.

After my melon, of course.

We have floating shelves as bedside tables and bed is a divan. Apparently cats are now very fat as they've ripped one out the wall by sitting on it. Grr.

gaggiagirl · 07/07/2015 22:51

dulcet what rm said, you will know when you start contractions. First comes discomfort, then extreme discomfort then BOOM!

Pisghetti · 07/07/2015 23:08

Dulcet this time my contractions were unmistakeable from the start. However with DS I had that kind of dull low down period pain for a while before contractions started but with him I was induced. My mother was having contractions she was unaware of with me - they were picked up on monitoring. In short - every woman and every labour are different! Could be something or nothing. It'll happen soon though Smile

deeplybaffled · 07/07/2015 23:31

Can anyone recommend comfy positions to sit or sprawl in once you get really quite big? If I sit up, any amount of forward lean means that ribs dig into bump, but lying flat on sofa doesn't really work eitherSad
Is it bad that I'm fantasising about the post baby period when I can lie on my front again? ??

WouldRatherHaveCake · 07/07/2015 23:43

Haha deeply I did too with DS but then my boobs hurt too much!
