Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I bet you wish once you hit the 37 week mark they would just get them out of there. Stop the last 3-5 weeks of worrying.

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 14:56

MiniLa has gone nuts. Obviously just felt lazy this morning.

We are drowning in cake at chez La

I really want a scone. Is it wrong for me to send DP out for a post scan scone and cream?

Fleurchamp · 07/07/2015 14:58

All absolutely fine. Completely normal for movements to become more subdued - mw said as long as I feel movement at least 10 times per day it's fine (and I do, although I will have to pay more attention as the movements are more gentle).

HB good, still not completely engaged though! Could be in for a wait.

Fleurchamp · 07/07/2015 15:01

Nope jelly I think you should have whatever you want - you are growing a baby Grin

Although if you're local to la I hear there may be some going begging Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 15:41

Fantastic Fleur, definitely worth getting checked to be reassured. So glad minifleur is ok :)

Glad you said that about movements being subdued that makes me feel better.

Jelly definitely!

Congratulations jelly! And fleur I'm pleased to hear everything is alright :)

Diet has gone out the window today. I was craving salt and vinegar this morning so had crisps, then really wanted sugar so have just had a hot chocolate and biscuits Blush I might regret this when I have to push out a 10lb baby.

A friend of mine gave birth last night Grin 10lb 5 little girl Shock

honeysucklejasmine · 07/07/2015 17:13

Oof Mountain that made me cross my legs a little!

Hooray for well behaved babies!

mountaingirl01 · 07/07/2015 17:24

Me too honey!

honeysucklejasmine · 07/07/2015 17:28

Today I have eaten a scobe with cream and jam, and four Alice's of toast with Marmite. #notashamed

I think I might develop a Marmite problem in the next few months.

Fleurchamp · 07/07/2015 17:39

Alice's of toast Grin

I can only snack nowadays, a proper meal makes me too full and uncomfortable. this is my excuse for eating cake and crisps all day

ChatEnOeuf · 07/07/2015 17:50

Congrats Jelly!

Fleur that advice is outdated and wrong, your midwife should know better. Counting to ten is pointless if your normal is 20 or 50 (or 5). And movements don't become more subdued unless position changes. Any concerns and I'd want you on labour ward on the monitor/scanner...

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 18:03

Ouch to 10lb babies although I think there might be one here too!

I was told the 10 movements thing is out of date too, it's a change from your normal pattern that you need to watch out for.

Mmmm cake Smile

Got a nice email from the CEO about phone/laptop etc telling me to stop worrying about it. Didn't say I don't have to return them though. I'm such a control freak I don't want to let go!

DulcetMoans · 07/07/2015 18:03

What's an Alice of toast?!

Glad you got checked fleur, but that 10 movements a day thing is wrong like chat says. Count the kicks are very keen to make that known as well - it's what is normal for you. The number is arbitrary. When is you next midwife appointment?

That's a tough friend there mountain! Did you get her birth story?

Met NCT girls, ate a scone. One wasn't enough so went to shops on the way home and bought more. Scones for tea!

Toast85 · 07/07/2015 18:06

Hooray for jellybean! Hooray for wriggly babies!

I'm sort of surprised your mw gave you that advice fleur- I thought counting a certain number was a bit outdated- ie movements 10 times in one day could be normal for one person but very low for another, and it was more about the pattern of movements rather than x number per day. I am no expert though! The main thing is you were checked and all ok.

La sounds like a lovely party and you have great friends! How good is your throw, think you can lob a scone over here?

Well viroids I feel like overnight someone opened me up and stuck a bag of bricks inside me- I feel so heavy! Like pressing down right over the top of my pelvis from inside, and my back and hips are so stiff. Wouldn't say it's painful exactly although I ache more and more as the day has gone on. I've bought stuff for vaguely healthy dinner of pasta with lots of veg/tomato sauce but I really can't be bothered to cook it so DH is getting fish and chips on his way home from work.

jellypi3 · 07/07/2015 18:07

Wow another bfp on undergrads! That's 4 in the last week I think!!

dulcet I so went and bought scones and cream :)

Toast85 · 07/07/2015 18:09

Delayed posting that message and see I've cross posted with others re. Movements, oops.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 07/07/2015 18:19

Yay jelly I'm so chuffed for you! I've not been on in 3 days so no idea what's happening with who! Must nose at the undergrads

Purpleball · 07/07/2015 18:21

Mmmm scones, might have to bake some next

LaLaLaaaa · 07/07/2015 18:34

I've just been given same advice as Fleur :(

WouldRatherHaveCake · 07/07/2015 18:40

Does anyone know much about CB digis? If you keep peeing on them throughout pregnancy will they still say 3+? Or error etc as hcg is too high?

Fleurchamp · 07/07/2015 18:43

Hmmm. My mw hasn't been the best to be fair.... she works out of my Drs surgery and wasn't at all clued up on the hospital procedures. I am going to the birth centre to meet the midwives on Thursday, I will speak to them.

The number of movements hasn't been the issue really, it's just they're not really kicks anymore, just wiggling. So, if I am not sitting quietly it's likely that I won't feel them. I can usually get the baby to move by drinking a cold drink and/ or laying on my left side. I guess I need to start paying more attention and keeping track of movements.

Fleurchamp · 07/07/2015 18:45

would I never got 3 + on a CB digi Confused although I did stop poas when I was around 5/6 weeks.

jellypi3 · 07/07/2015 18:47

cake my advice is don't POAS unless you are really stressing out. Especially the digi's. They aren't a HCG measure they just tell you if you are upduffed or not. And digi's are notoriously bad for their week indicator.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 07/07/2015 18:51

That's wonderful news for the undergrads!!

Glad to see that everyone seems to be doing well. Lovely scan pic jellypi!

La it sounds like you had a great evening for your non baby shower - thumbs up! I know what you mean about people arriving early though. It's such a lovely gesture, but also means you have to switch to host mode that much earlier!

Has anyone else had similar issues where you don't crave something at all, then you read a recipe, or someone describing something they ate, then all of a sudden you want it MORE THAN ANYTHING?

A second ago it was the cake (having read banana bread recipes earlier) and now I just read honeys post about wanting poached egg on marmite toast and I'm all "omg that sounds fucking AMAZING".

The other day I read something about milk, and then immediately had to go buy some and drink half a litre of the stuff.
