Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Honey it's a good sign Grin embrace the boob ache

It was like prickly soreness inside like when you've got wind, accompanied by what was obviously a baby's hand pushing into my vital organs. This one is a definite wriggler! Nothing that felt labour like just sore and uncomfortable.

I managed to sleep until 3 then was awake 3-6 then back to sleep til 8.

Last night I felt horrendously sick and really struggled to eat. Going to try and eat little and often

Oh forgot question - party is tomorrow. They are coming after work. I wanted it at weekend but the person organising it was away this weekend and last.

Stabby womb is back. Think it's my bladder, I'll go speak to doctor tomorrow

Oh dear La, sounds like you are having all the fun at the moment!

What's the deal with not lying on your back? I try to go to sleep on my side but always end up on my back. I only have a teeny bump so figure it is not that big of a deal yet?? (I can still lie on my front which is how I normally get to sleep)

LaLaLaaaa · 05/07/2015 09:03

Pud its from 20 weeks you're not meant to lie on back. Youhave a major blood vessel down your back and it can be restricted by baby when on your back. Makes you dizzy and sick, you can use pillows to stop you rolling on back

For the sporners on here there's a boil thread on aibu!

Oh dear La you've had a rough night.

I was woken at 3am by cramp in my inner thigh. I've never had anything like it. I was crying it hurt so much. Anyone else had this? Any ideas?

LaLaLaaaa · 05/07/2015 10:02

Random cramps are pg symptom - eat bananas they have potassium!

OP posts:
Fleurchamp · 05/07/2015 10:32

Funny you say that purple I got into bed last night and felt like I pulled a muscle in my inner thigh in the process.
I am guessing it's the strain of carting this bump around and the hormones making my joints loosen Sad

oneyorkshirepud · 05/07/2015 10:49

Ooh thanks La, I shall enjoy the next month of lying on my back then! (Sounds ruder than I intended!)

For those of you following the kitten trauma, we thought we were going to lose Eris Fri night/Sat morning. She got down to 510g and was v quiet. The vet suggested that I pretend to eat her food (so I did, like a loon) and it really helped. She had five meals of cod yesterday, FIVE and put on 10g, a record. She has eaten this morning too and she has never eaten two consecutive days before. Not getting hopes up too high as she has a long way to go but gx she is turning a corner.

LaLaLaaaa · 05/07/2015 10:57

Yaaay! Gx she continues to put weight on. God animals and babies are such a worry! I wonder what caused all this for her poor wee monkey.

My biggest concern has been making sure someone is here to feed my boys when I have to head to hospital. I've got about 3 keys out with various folk just in case we can't get hold of people.

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 05/07/2015 10:58

Don't worry pud, you'll know when you can't lay on your back anymore. I hate laying on my side (usually a front person) and often woke up on my back but came to a point where doing it just made me feel sick and horrible. Now I can manage 5 mins maybe before I have to move or throw up! Everything crossed for kitten - you're doing so well!

Not had the cramp that high purple, just leg cramps. They really fucking hurt when it happens though. Drink plenty too if you can - I'm sure you are in this heat but staying hydrated is meant to help cramps.

You still in pain now fleur. That's a bugger!

So is today prep day for the shower then la? Operation tidy up? I'm sure it will be lovely!

I forgot to say - I think I can feel toes! Not really sure as a weird thing to say but I know where the baby's legs are and sometimes I can feel it pushing them out on my side (quite far round) and then like little tingly movement like toes! That's what I have convinced myself it is anyway. Is got toes!

batfish · 05/07/2015 11:08

Should I be worried that I've had a couple of brown wees? Like properly dark, way worse than just when you're dehydrated. I made a veg juice on Fri with 2 whole beetroots in so maybe it's that but surely it wouldn't still be affecting my wee!?

LaLaLaaaa · 05/07/2015 11:25

Yes, drink water, but more sensible than just bananas Grin I think I've got bananas on the brain

Operation baby party clean up - blimey I hadn't thought about that but I guess I'd better! House is pretty tidy but will get dh to hoover. I also need to hide anything that might give away the sex from the nursery. Apparently 'seeing the nursery' is part of the draw for everyone, hope they aren't disappointed. 16 people are coming. I'm making cupcakes tomorrow and sandwiches and my friends are coming early to help set up. Dh is designing a baby themed cocktail punch - hope he doesn't name it 'jizz juice' as folk might not appreciate that

Bat I'm pretty sure beetroot makes wee dark? I don't like it so no personal experience! Just in case though perhaps up your fluids in case you're not drinking enough

OP posts:
Purpleball · 05/07/2015 11:29

I'll definitely get some bananas. We'd been out for dinner and I'd drunk a litre of sparkling water so I don't think it's dehydration. I am drinking loads at the moment.
Thanks for the advice though, it was horrible and I'd much rather it didn't happen again!

Do the bananas count if they are cooked? When they get squishy I make them into banana bread Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 05/07/2015 12:32

I am officially very tired. DH is B&Q (I'm in car!) Then going to sleep when we get home. Come to me, precious sleep!

Pud that's great news! Go, Eris, go! Grin please make a video of you pretending to eat cat food

La you're a good person. I'd not be happy to host my own baby shower, should I want one. Can't imagine getting house "visitor ready" and baking whilst 38 weeks pregnant!

oneyorkshirepud · 05/07/2015 12:52

Make sure you are getting enough salt too Purple. DH used to get awful cramps when he did lots of running. He would drink a glass of nuuns or similar before bed (hydration fluid for sport).

Bat I have thought that I was dying in several occasions when my wee was pink, then a realised I had eaten a whole jar of beetroot the day before. Maybe drink loads and try to flush it out and if you are still weeing brown tomorrow call your midwife?

honeysucklejasmine · 05/07/2015 13:10

You ate a whole jar of beetroot? I love pickles, now I want some.

oneyorkshirepud · 05/07/2015 13:21

Hmmmm yeah, that happens fairly frequently... I have tried to cut down on my pickle addiction as apparently it is not very good for your insides!

batfish · 05/07/2015 13:40

Thanks for the wee advice viroids, hopefully it is beetroot related and will disappear! I should keep a closer eye on my wee as I have no idea whether it has just started or has been going on since beetroot juice incident. I actually don't really like pickled beetroot, bloody love anything else pickled though, faves are piccalilli and pickled onions, mmmmm. Preferably with a cheese toastie Smile

Purpleball · 05/07/2015 13:45

I've been eating pickled onions, beetroot and red cabbage while pregnant...far more than usual

Fleurchamp · 05/07/2015 13:55

Yak to the pickled goods!

Glad to hear Eris is doing better pud

I still have an achy inner leg. Seriously, who knew getting into bed could be so fraught with peril?!?

We are going for a Sunday lunch soon via jojo Maman bebe can't wait!

la I agree, hosting your own baby shower is above and beyond! I hope someone stays behind to help clear up. I have only ever arranged one shower - for my sister - and I was bloody exhausted at the end.

batfish · 05/07/2015 14:39

Oh yayyyy I'm so happy, my friend who found out she was pregnant from 5th round of IVF and after something like 8 years of TTC had her first scan today and there is a baby in there with a heartbeat and everything! They had implanted 4 eggs so she is a bit sad for the 3 that didn't make it but otherwise over the moon, still only 6+3 so she is still pretty scared but this is further than she has ever got before, it's amazing Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 05/07/2015 14:42

You know what I love? Sweetcorn relish. Well, and burger relish. And piccalilli.

Trying to decide whether to eat my lunch or not. It's pork goulash soup and an olive roll. I am hungry, but still not sure. So just having a glass of water and watching food network.

LaLaLaaaa · 05/07/2015 14:57

Technically it's not a baby shower because I didn't want one, but that's what it's turned into. I just wanted to get my friends round for a natter and bit of food before baby comes and in on my own. House is tidy coz we've blitzed it recently and I made and froze scones yesterday for afternoon tea. Just going to make some dainty sarnies and cupcakes. Dh is making punch. My friends have said they are bringing food even though I told them not to and some are coming to decorate and set up before the others get here. I love hosting so I'm quite happy :)

Just done last of the baby chores - pumped car tyres up, took recycling to dump, collected some more compost for garden. I was feeling great while we were out but now I'm home my energy has sapped again. Might have a wee nap

I eat 2 jars of pickled onions a week, always have done. They are my favourite food
