so sorry baby. it must be really hard to digest that news and to know how to feel. hope you've got some good friends/DH looking after you.

Thanks guys, kind of don't know what I'm feeling tbh. Glad we didn't tell more people now - only my parents know.

Consultants apt is at 13 weeks so a week on Monday, will find out more then but it shouldn't cause any problems for surviving twin. Wish it was more certain.

Oh baby I'm so sorry to hear about one of the twins, what an absolutely terrible situation. Of course you can be happy about your healthy little one, but your entitled to grieve for the other too.

weve had too much sad news on this board the last couple of days. Massive hugs to Lil and to baby. baby I'm sure most of your family/friends who didn't know it was twins previously will just be happy for you, but absolutely allow yourself time to grieve for your lost baby. What a mix of emotions. Really hope your surviving baby keeps going strong, all the signs sound good with the dates and heartbeat.

Catching up after a busy few days...

Thinking of you Lilliana I was really sorry to read your news and I hope you and your OH have lots of RL support to get you through this hard time.

Baby that must have been such a shock for you at your scan today. As others have said I'm sorry to hear one of your twins didn't make it, but also happy to hear the other one is healthy and thriving. Agree with giving yourself plenty of time to grieve and also adjust. Hugs. X

I feel tons better today. Thank you everyone for being so supportive, I was so miserable and it made a big difference.

Think I have lost another 2lbs! Time to hit the cake, oooh and Magnums [ready] that's an excellent idea....

I've got my booking appt on friday when im 11w5d but still haven't been told when my scan is, will the mw tell me at the appt or will i get a letter?

Thanks for your locket messages all. I am doing ok, feeling sad, still a little numb and shocked but finding joy In still being pregnant - it would be so much harder otherwise. The EPU let me have a picture of the healthy baby even though it's against the rules and I find it reassuring to look at and see how... baby-like... (s)he is xx
