Avoiding accidental golden showers and unsolicited bump touching while enjoying the gamble of the poo-lottery and apparently getting more massive by the day - JSer grads 31!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Alnwick castle and gardens
Bamburgh castle
Walkworth castle/village has a beautiful French patisserie.
Amble harbour
Barter books in Alnwick (google it and be amazed)
Farne island puffin cruise
Holy island
Seahouses
Druridge bay beach

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 21:08

Definitely Farne Island and the puffins - they are amazing!

DulcetMoans · 26/06/2015 21:15

Go on a puffin cruise for shizzle! That has to be done!

Hi mae, get on in here! Congrats to you.

No idea what a Beatle drive is... Read the link and still don't get it!

What have you been up to with MIL fleur?

Sad news about the kitten pud. Bland food might help like la said. Some basic chicken in tiny bits.

Just remembered your comment about going out with baby at 6-8wks wil. So you think lunch a better bet than an evening meal? I could do something with that I guess! Better than nothing!

DH has been having a tough time at work this week, just annoyed at people but come home as a proper sodding eeyore the past two days. Great fun. Hmm

Hi mae glad everything's going good for you Grin

Fleurchamp · 26/06/2015 21:42

Ha dulcet I call my DH eeyore too when he is grumpy Grin

One Sunday he was soooo miserable I told him to get in the car as I was going to drive him somewhere to cheer him up. I drove to the Ashdown Forest and took him to eeyore's dark and gloomy place.... Grin he didn't take it too well at the time but he can see the funny side now.

I took MIL out to Chartwell House, had a long walk and afternoon tea. Lovely but I am shattered and had terribly sweaty boobs. Sorry TMI.

WilHarlot · 26/06/2015 21:46

I'd still struggle to go out for dinner now Dulcet at 5 months! If you get a good sleeper who takes a bottle it would be ok but if you end up with a CS or a tricky recovery, you probably won't feel like it. Everyone's different though.

WilHarlot · 26/06/2015 21:47

I really want to go to Northumberland now.

honeysucklejasmine · 26/06/2015 21:47

I can't believe how many of you don't know what a Beetle Drive is! Shock

Thanks for list Ga, I have saved it for reference.

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 21:54

SWEATY BOOBS! I sympathise.

I keep tissues under mine. Pretty much everything about me is sweaty now.

Just booked mani/pedi for Monday with voucher dh gave me. Ooooh I cannae wait!

Love Northumberland. Want to go! I was born in Ashington.

Still doing handover notes for work. Been doing them since about 4pm. Both cats are on my feet.

pretzelpieces · 26/06/2015 21:55

I want to go on holiday now! Envy

Had good news today - DP got a job he went for this week! Really pleased because he has been working freelance and it's not been a stable income for us. I am feeling relieved and less worried for our future now! Does mean holiday in Wales in September is likely to be just me and the folks though, he was meant to be coming too but he'll be starting his training.

gaggiagirl · 26/06/2015 21:58

Hi mae welcome!!
Loving eeyore DHs! Ha cheer up little donkeys!
My underboob area is very sore due to huge norks and bump pushing into bra underwires and its hot so I feel your boob pain fleur.
wil do visit! We found a cafe near my mams that sell vintage shite and do kids meals where they cut the sandwiches into the shape of people. That should be reason enough to visit.

gaggiagirl · 26/06/2015 21:58

la I was born in Ashington!!!!!!

DulcetMoans · 26/06/2015 22:10

That is a risky tactic with an eeyore fleur! At least he can laugh about it now. It's so annoying when they get like this, any sort of rational conversation is not worth it. I've had to check whether he was one of those husbands that had lost their job but still continue to pretend to go to work he's been so grumpy - he assures me he is still employed... that's why he's grumpy!

I did ask DH about the beetle drive think though honey and he did know what it was! He grew up in a village type area though for his school years so maybe it's more common in smaller areas?

Yay for mani/pedi la!

Fabulous job news pretzel. When does he start? Hope he can still have paternity leave!

I think I will just see how it goes wil. Just so hard to judge before it's here!

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 22:10

Oooh ga yay!! I've only met one other person who was born there!

We lived there when I was wee.

Sandwiches in the shape of people?? I must have these!

My dh is possibly the happiest and most content person I've ever met in my life. I've never seen him sulk, grump or lose his temper. Nothing bothers him. Sometimes I feel like winding him up just to see what'll happen!

Pretzel that's great news!!!

Purpleball · 26/06/2015 22:21

Ga that's the reason I eventually gave up underwires. Now I have a pair of sandbags Hmm
I've just ordered new bras again. The Debenhams one is too small and hasn't lasted that long. I've gone for non-wired normal bras again, this time from Evans because they had loads of choice in bigger back sizes and do free returns. It cost me £3 to return one to ample bosom and the sizing was way out....I'd even measured!

My DH gets a bi fed up occasionally but he's not great at communicating at times. We don't argue often but he can be a it of a sulker. I usually win him over by tickling. I'm feisty at times but I can't abide sulking and moods. I tell people they've pissed me off then I'm over it

rm00054 · 26/06/2015 22:36

Hi viroids. Just a little update: We had to stay in hospital for a bit because sleepy baby doesn't really like breastfeeding. Midwives put us on a feeding plan which involved some expressing and bottle feeding and that seemed to work ok. They were happy enough that we got discharged tonight and now we're home Smile
And since we got home the little pickle fed the best he has ever done!
I can't believe how adorable he is. We're so in love.

Will do birth story when things settle down a bit.

Hope everyone here is doing ok, haven't had chance to catch up on Fred.
Welcome Mae Wink

DulcetMoans · 26/06/2015 22:38

Fabulous rm. Glad you have your family home! Good luck with the first night home all together. Look forward to the story.

I also want in on sandwich people gaggia. Do you have to be a kid?

DH is usually 'too laid back' as his DM would say. He doesn't get phased by stuff. Not sure why this week is different but I know he is very tired. His eeyore status does have the bonus that he's very cuddly though. He's a cuddler anyway but being in a grump means he wants to go to bed early and lay together.

pretzelpieces · 26/06/2015 22:39

la you're so lucky you don't have a grumpy one! DP gets in a huff but isn't very self aware about it. It's maddening!

Thanks dulcet, la, he doesn't start till September so I doubt he'll qualify for paternity leave in Feb Sad but there'd have been no paternity leave with him being self employed either, so we're still better off. Luckily I at least have supportive family nearby.

pretzelpieces · 26/06/2015 22:40

Whoops cross posted, that's great news rm glad you are home and the feeding is going well now Grin

gaggiagirl · 26/06/2015 22:49

Awwww rm lovely update!

purple will I get decent shape from non wired? Will my norks look sad?

honeysucklejasmine · 26/06/2015 22:58

Yay RM! Great to hear from you.

My DH doesn't really do angry or grumpy either, he's quite laid back. He does get very stressed to the point of making himself ill though, so I have to encourage him to chill out.

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 23:15

Fantastic update RM! So glad you're home and settling in xx

jellypi3 · 26/06/2015 23:30

Yay rm :)

purple you are so organised!

I had no idea about this beetle thing. I am a ninties child tho!

pud Tuna is really high in Mercury so not the best meal for little kittens. When my two won't eat I do chicken legs (1 each) boiled until cooked and then shred the chicken and chop finely and add some of the broth. It settled them down. But I also agree get the vet to check her out because she might have worms.

Just got in from a pub quiz. Bloated and tired and someone at the quiz annoyed me so I replied with a sarcastic comment and got funny stares Hmm also my best mates who we told about the pg have told literally their entire family who we know quite well. Like 15 people!!

Night.

DulcetMoans · 27/06/2015 01:40

Anyone up? Woke up with worrying cramp and then could t get baby to move. Think it's ok now but still awake. DH is away tomorrow in London so obviously Sod's law that anything remotely different happens tonight!

Did you win at pub quiz jelly? Shame about the friends, is there a chance those people would tell others you don't want to know yet?
