Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

How exciting jelly you'll be amazed at your scan - I had a 9 weeks scan and baby was already 2.5cm big and baby shaped, crazy. I felt the same during first trimester - didn't feel pregnant at all and it worried me reading the October thread as everyone was dying with morning sickness and I just thought it must be a bad sign that I was feeling so well. But it wasn't a bad sign and it isn't for you either, when you get past 12 weeks and feel a bit safer you'll just be so glad you've escaped the horridness that some poor people get.

WilHarlot · 26/06/2015 08:21

Didn't realise you were doing that Jelly, sounds exciting.

jellypi3 · 26/06/2015 08:29

Yeh it's really good wil the incentive is they give you loads of free scans but tbh all it takes is to be strapped up to a heart and pulse monitor for about 5 minutes and some breathing monitor for about 3 minutes plus a blood test. And if the data one day helps save people's lives, well I can't see anything wrong with it!

Jcandy · 26/06/2015 08:32

Morning all, lots of worry on here since I checked last night. There's been lots of good reassuring words from other viroids though so please listen to them, they speak the truth!

DulcetMoans · 26/06/2015 09:04

But it is very north wil and la, it's proper up! I went to York last year which was lovely but it's so far away! I would like to go to Scotland but I would want to fly, it so very North! There's a bit like above York and before Scotland that I don't even know what it is! And I need to be bear the beach and up there the beach is the wrong way around! Grin

That's a great activity to be involved in jelly, especially to get free scans. I am doing one when baby is here about the effect of living near a refinery on breast milk - I got a free breast pump but it's only a manual. Still, nice to think we are helping science!

I feel the same as you about the relaxation stuff I think fleur. We do breathing and visualisations in yoga which I hope to use but no idea if I will actually be able to - my mind wanders sometimes! But it feels good to know its in my armoury.

Too far north! Too far north she says! No such thing - life only gets better with north ;)

Edinburgh has some fab beaches, so has St Andrews. Oh I'm homesick now - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 09:47

How do I get involved in these science studies? They sound really interesting! I've signed up for Mumsnet panel but I just get a survey every now and then.

Dh is very happy with my nursery efforts - I went in to have a look again this morning and I'm really pleased with it!

jellypi3 · 26/06/2015 09:52

More pics la!

The one I'm on was just advertised somewhere, I can't remember where exactly. I signed up because they gave you a free CBFM but I stopped using it after a few months because it was naff!

I do like Scotland, it had a nice feel to it.

DulcetMoans · 26/06/2015 09:59

They wrote to me for mine as you need to live in a certain area and meet some criteria.

Are you planning a trip back after baby is born la?

Thanks everyone for the reassurance/tips about the MS. I think it gets me down when I think this could carry on for at least another month Shock but it might not! It might go away sooner Hmm I can hope.

Sorry you're feeling so tired pud, I hope the magical 2nd tri energy comes to you soon.

I'm on the useless app and I've forgotten what everyone else said... Oh yes jelly I'm really jealous of all your lovely scans! Sound like a great study to be part of. I'm at increased risk of pre-eclampsia as my mum had it.

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 10:14

Here you go! more pics of nursery. My mum knitted my two cats a few years ago as a joke so I've put them on the window ledge. All the animals except the fox were knitted by my mum. She's gone nuts!

dulcet I'll probably take baby up a month or two after birth to see folk. We are planning to move back, but just need to save some dosh first!

Morning lovelies. Purplebabys movements were a bit slower last night. Then this morning it didn't wake up for ages. I was getting a bit panicked and about to ring the hospital when DH gave me a cuddle and I calmed down. Lo and behold baby woke up and booted me loads.
So the more anxious I am, the less he moves is my conclusion.
I started work today and got wound up again. Was about to cry when I thought fuck em, my baby is more important so I sent an email to say I'd be off sick the rest of the day.
I'm loads calmer now and baby is awake!

Zyla thanks for that. My dad has a bp monitor so I'll borrow it. Don't know why I never thought of it.

La I'm glad you're all sorted with movements.

Thanks for all the lovely thoughts. You're all keeping me sane Smile

pretzelpieces · 26/06/2015 10:32

la that is adorable!

purple glad you are feeling calmer Smile

jellypi3 · 26/06/2015 10:41

Aww la that's amazing! Very cute little room for him!

honeysucklejasmine · 26/06/2015 11:37

Aww La, that's lovely! Sooo many toys!

I want to do a trial which gives me loads of freebies! sulks

Purpleball · 26/06/2015 12:07

La your nursery looks fab. Couldn't see it on the app before

maemay · 26/06/2015 12:56

Sneaks in to wave hi to everyone
So by way of intro, I've been on the JS fred (albeit not v active!) for a couple of months, and in May I got my BFP.
However have had a fair bit of bleeding with on-and-off cramps, so was hesitant to join the grads fred in case it wasn't a sticky bean. Was referred to the EPU where I've had 2 scans, and at today's they showed me the heartbeat! :-)
It's real, and it's sticky! Grin They couldn't see any evidence of what might be causing the bleeding (though at last fannycam scan they could see an area of bleeding inside), and said that even though they can't tell why I'm bleeding, the bleeding is not interfering with the progress of the pregnancy. phew

So I now feel like I'm 'allowed' to join the grads fred :)

So nice to see so many viroids from my JSing time on here, and Jelly, Pretzel & Honey you got your BFPs since I last looked at the JS fred! Yay! Grin

Indigoblue2 · 26/06/2015 13:07

Welcome mae and congrats on your sticky bean, brilliant news!

batfish · 26/06/2015 13:13

Congratulations mae and welcome!

Well it's not a great month in the bat house - after hubby and his company parting ways he has been off roading today and has rolled the car and it's not in such good shape! Obviously the most important thing is that he is OK and he is thank goodness. But our car has 'a few bent panels' and no windscreen Shock I haven't seen it yet.

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 13:25

Congratulations Mae! Lovely to see you here! Glad to hear bean is looking good :)

Bat - is he ok? What a nightmare! Hope it can be fixed?

Just got home from lunch with my friend and Mr La has built mobile and put up nursery curtains. It looks fantastic! I might have a wee pregnancy cry in celebration...

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 13:25

Why the heck was he off roading in your car?

WilHarlot · 26/06/2015 13:39

Hope he's ok Bat.

Congratulations Mae! Is this your first baby?

I'll have to venture over to the main site to check out this nursery La. I still haven't done ours and she's just about ready to move into it.

Jcandy · 26/06/2015 13:44

Congratulations mae Smile great to see you here!

Just had a phone call with the anaesthetist about the fact that I had a funny episode when I was going to have my wisdom teeth out. She was ringing to figure out if it was a reaction to the anaesthetic. We think it's likely to be more a vagal reaction (if youve heard of one of those before) basically it means I drop my blood pressure. It does mean that hopefully I can be midwife led instead of consultant led now. But it also means I could have a vagal reaction during labour, and they aren't the most pleasant experience on their own, never mind the trying to give birth part!

batfish · 26/06/2015 13:47

Ahh la how lovely, not surprised you wanted a little cry!

It is a 4x4 suitable for offroading and it is one of his hobbies to go off out into the desert with his mates....they usually come back with less damage! Shock

LaLaLaaaa · 26/06/2015 13:56

Ooh JC I think those are what I get! No ones ever told me the name. If I get a shock my bp drops suddenly. Happened with my MC and happens if I cut myself. I then faint or am sick.

They have a name!

Pleased they are looking at giving you more support - are you feeling a bit better?
