Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

I think I am too... I haven't done a test yet but my body is telling me I am.. I had IUI on the 26th June, so I'm doing this alone.. I had a miscarriage last year at 6 weeks but my symptoms this time are nothing like what I had last year, so fingers crossed... I'd be due 21 March going by my last period.

Feeling scared and nervous

dobbythedoggy · 01/07/2015 19:04

Won't join you on the facebook group yet, I mainly use my phone for internet and it just wouldn't be private enough! Too many noisy people who like to snoop. Mainly my mil on her mil's facebook profile. I'm hoping we can wait as long as possiable to tell people this time around.

Just got to concentrate on hiding my sickness. Spent the last two mornings laid up on the sofa until the threat of vomiting stops. Managed not to be sick today, but yesterday was almost like a flash back to my pregnancy with dd. Seem to have a very limited range of what I feel like I can eat at the moment.

Dreya · 01/07/2015 19:46

Hello and congratulations! May I join please? I found out yesterday that I am pregnant with my third :-) My daughter is 4 and my son is 16 months. I'm feeling really anxious as I have cramping and I don't remember this with either of my pregnancies and also because of my age. I am 38. My EDD is around the 8th of March. Good luck to everyone x

LaraNotCroft22 · 01/07/2015 20:24

Hi chickpea, I have added you in Facebook I can join the group.

I was I the nov 2013 group too so funny!!

shieldbug · 01/07/2015 20:50

Welcome flyingbex and Dreya.

bex, I had a mc in Feb, but like you, this one feels different, so hopefully we will both have success this time.I'm sure everybody here will be supportive, so use this thread as a chance to talk through your worries and get lots of hand-holding.

dreya for me, cramping feelings have been a feature of my successful pgs so I am delighted to get them again. Don't worry, lots of people have very different experiences in their pg, so the fact that you haven't had this previously is ok. Also, I had ds2 at 39 with no age-related issues and will be 42 soon, so you still seem young to me and I'm sure you will be fine.

dobby sorry to hear you are having it tough at the mo.

I'm suffering the most awful hayfever at present and am worried that the violence of my sneezes (they really are uncontrollable) will cause some harm. I don't drive so have to walk to get anywhere and therefore am confined to the house except for essential activities or things I don't want the boys to miss. I'm seriously tempted to try some beconase which I have in the house. what do you all reckon? The last thing I want is to play Russian roulette with my baby's health, but if the risks are vanishingly small, I think it's better that I can get some peace from the symptoms. I took beconase in previous pg, but only at later stages.

Anyone else bloated? I am either full of trapped wind or farting like a trooper

ImGoingForATwix · 01/07/2015 22:47

Hi newbies!

I was just thinking today about being bloated chickpea. My jeans felt tight all of a sudden around my waist, but were fine by evening.

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 01/07/2015 23:43

I'm really bloated and crampy...and I don't know if I'm imagining it but started to get nausea when tired and hungry already!! Can it happen this early!?

Fiddledeedeee · 02/07/2015 04:43

Oops I did it twice! Already feeling a bit sick and tired, but may be just laziness?

smallbird · 02/07/2015 08:22

Oh yes the bloating! I'm huge by the end of the day.

Nausea can definitely happen this early, I'm 5+3 now and have been getting it for a week or so. Couldn't sleep night before last for feeling sick at 3am, was horrible.

Got my booking in appointment sorted now - 27th July.

dobbythedoggy · 02/07/2015 08:53

Thanks shield not really struggling too much, being sick is actually quiet reassuring and relieves the feeling of sea sickness. I was sick really early with dd from about the 4 1/2 week mark until 21 weeks and then again from 32 until she was born. I'm not suffering from it this year, mostly because I'm not surrounded by trees, but when I was pregnant with dd I found haybands fantastic for relieving hayfever symptoms, I doubled up with a band on each arm! One would probably have worked too but I wanted to aviod using steriods for my asthma.

fiddle I'm definantly sick already, for a good few hours mid morning until after lunch time, actually perfure being sick to feeling it.

Bloated too, glad it's too hot here for jeans! I've got to remember to pick up some peppermint tea; if I can manage to drink it, it might relieve some of the trapped wind and bloating.

Dd and I have our hub toddler group at church this morning, which might be intresting experience. I'm off my normal drink of tea at the moment and as lovely as the currit facilitating the group is, my mum is in her final year of ministry training and very close to her, I'm sure they'll put ideas in each others heads!

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 02/07/2015 09:01

So nice to hear more about people.

I was a big sweaty mess last night and sleep was a struggle, think DD felt the same as she was flat out in her cot like a star fish and kept crying out in her sleep :-(

Getting pangs of nausea in the top of my stomach already which doesnt bode well for the next few months! Gah!

I'm having trouble finding you on facebook chickpea !

Chickpea1983 · 02/07/2015 12:35

Hi Smirking. send me your email address by private message, and I can add you that way

tapismagique · 02/07/2015 13:11

hi again everyone - just been to see my doctor who was kind of nice but also said that the midwife care where i live (London) isn't so great. hmmm. anyway, she gave me a due date of 10 March while the mumsnet due date calculator gave me 6 March - though i expect it will be a fair bit later than either date as my mum was always 2 weeks overdue!
chickpea, i'm not on facebook so i can't join the group but it sounds like a good idea.

maybebabybee · 02/07/2015 13:20

Hi everyone...

very tentatively sticking my head round the door here. Had a MC at 5+5 on June 1...been trying again since bleeding stopped (saw no reason to wait for AF, just wanted to get upduffed again ASAP), AF due today, did my test and voila BFP!

I am a nervous wreck though. Last time I drove myself insane taking 3 million tests and obsessing about the lines not getting darker. This time I hope to be (somewhat) calmer.

really can't get excited about it as just so nervous the same thing will happen.

Don't know if you do stats on this thread, but mine are:

maybebabybe
Age: 26
TTC: baby number one
EDD: March 7 according to the NHS website!

Look forward to chatting with everyone, this seems like a nice group :)

BeautifulLiar · 02/07/2015 13:29

Good luck maybebaby! I'm constantly knicker checking atm. it's hard to believe there's actually something in there right?!

dobbythedoggy · 02/07/2015 13:31

Hi maybe

We're in the same boat. I had a mc at 5 weeks at the end of May. We decided to try again straight away, and well here I am.

I'm very nervous about things going wrong again, but trying to stay positive. I feel very diffrent from the pregnancy I mc, I wouldn't have really known I was pregnant if I hadn't tested. The pregnancy boards have a couple of pregnancy after mc threads on which I've found is also a good place to post.

I saw my gp the start of the week, while he was clueless about what he needed to do next, he said there was no need to worry about things happening so soon. I've been able to get an early referal to the midwife so she can decide what to do. Hoping to be able to push for an early scan to put my mind at ease and to be a bit clearer about what the dates actually are.

maybebabybee · 02/07/2015 13:42

beautiful I know, don't actually believe it's real...

dobby it's very hard isn't it! To be honest I feel about the same as I did with the last one - boobs only very slightly sore, very slight waves of nausea (but could easily be imagining them to be honest). The positive is my BFP was nice and strong whereas with my last pregnancy the line took ages to get dark.

My advice is steer clear of the clearblue with conception indicator things, those things are the spawn of satan!!!

I've not bothered going to the GP yet, I know from last time all they'll do is tell me to self refer to my preferred ante natal unit. Which for me is UCLH. Anyone else in London??

Chickpea1983 · 02/07/2015 14:18

My BFP hasn't been very dark (have done 2 tesco brand tests). Is that something I should be concerned about?
