Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

Also eating like a horse here. It's the only way of keeping nausea under control but unfortunately I'm craving all sorts of unhealthy stuff. Can't get enough salty butter on toast. Ok not the most unhealthy thing ever but I have been sooo healthy the last few months trying to give myself the best chance of avoiding another mc. And now I'm shovelling all sorts of calorific stuff into my mouth!

Practically counting the hours til our early scan. This waiting and worrying is so tough.

Happy weekends everyone

SoozeyHoozey · 18/07/2015 12:41

Eating all the time also helps my bad nausea! Already put on weight and only 8 weeks gone!

lilmisshopeful · 18/07/2015 12:43

PS thanks for all the welcomes! Sorry I'm not quite on top of the thread. It moves fast!

Herewegoagain31 · 18/07/2015 13:17

missdee so sorry to hear about your mum that's awful news to get at any time, especially when pregnant. Hope her prognosis is good and you can manage not to get too stressed although easier said than done in such a stressful situation.

I'm another usually really healthy eater and it has all gone wrong for me the last few weeks too. I just cannot stomach veg and all I want is carbs and cheese. In the months before TTC I was having green veg juices from my juicer every day, home cooked healthy meals, now I literally cannot bear the thought of a juice (I force one down every 3 days.. ugh shuddering at the thought!) and I'm not eating any veg just stodgy meals. I guess the babies are so tiny at the moment nutrients don't really count but i do feel bad I'm not eating better

Missdee so sorry, thinking of you.

Had a burrito for lunch and still hungry. How is that possible?

My sore boobs have vanished today. Really worried its a sign of impending mc.

dobbythedoggy · 18/07/2015 14:31

Super markets are making me sick again! I had forgotten that particular joy. Went into lidl to grab some suncream for a trip to the beach and couldn't stomach standing in the que. My mum who was with us has now guessed, was hoping to avoid telling people for a while! She and my dad will keep it quiet but could do without any extra fuss, particually if anything goes wrong again.

I'm basically not eatting at the moment. Just sucking sweets, the odd fruit pastle and drinking. Just the idea of food is enough to make me gag.

missdee so sorry to hear about your mum, my dad was very ill when I was pregnant with dd, I know how difficult it is not to get stressed in those situations.

maybe my sore boobs come and go, although were really sore at the start, hardly bother me anymore, other than the odd shooting pain or itching. I think it had all settled down by 5 or 6 weeks when I was pregnant with dd. It's so hard not to worry about every thing being a sign of mc.

Mrsrsw · 18/07/2015 15:17

I'm just really tired at the moment, run out of energy so quickly!

Lucy61 · 18/07/2015 16:46

I'm so sorry about yourself, missdee. Thanks

Lucy61 · 18/07/2015 16:46

*your mum not yourself!

BeautifulLiar · 18/07/2015 17:07

Sorry misdee. I haven't been through what you have, but i have had huge stresses throughout all three pregnancies so can relate to that. Praying this one will be different.

Hope you're ok xxx

Missdee2014 · 18/07/2015 17:35

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I just can't stop crying today. I've been crying for silly things since I got my BFP but just can't seem to pull myself together properly today at all.

sherazade · 18/07/2015 18:23

Hi ,can I join in? Very suprised to discover that I'm pregnant with my third as my dds are now 10 and 8 so a big gap ! I'm due 12 March . Current symptoms are realllllllyyy sore and huge boobs. Severe nausea usually worse in the morning but no vomiting , tiredness, mood swings and headaches. Having a ball already Shock

marmitemofo · 18/07/2015 18:24

sorry to hear about your mum missdee Thanks

nothing to report here, still no nausea but craving salty junk food to settle my stomach. also absolutely exhausted!

I haven't had sore boobs yet which is strange as was first symptom with DD... trying not to panic/overthink it as I know every pregnancy is different Confused

Kittykitty05 · 18/07/2015 18:45

Missdee, sorry for your news. Pregnancy hormones will make you much more easily emotional, and with such shocking news it's no wonder you're crying a lot. I hope the prognosis is positive, and that your pregnancy/baby can be a little ray of light in your family's cloudy times.

sherazade mine are 12 (tomorrow) and 7 (nearly 8) so we've also had a baby free hiatus! It's just proved a challenge to have a successful number 3.

Kittykitty05 · 18/07/2015 18:49

I'm exhausted! A bout on energy last night and I hoovered, cleaned bathrooms and did a stack of ironing till late. Then spent all day clearing out my work room to become the kids den. Little do they know it may soon have to be one of their bedrooms to make space for another! Ds's birthday tomorrow which will be chaotic then Wednesday I've agreed to a houseful of 12 yo boys all day xboxing and sleeping(?!) overnight. Am I stupid?

Indomitable · 18/07/2015 19:21

Sorry to hear that news Miss, fx the prognosis is positive. Being emotional is ok, and expected. Be how you need to be. x Flowers

No wonder you're exhausted kitty! I don't think there'll be much sleeping at the party. Hope it all goes smoothly!

Am I really as bloated as I think I am at the end of the day or have I just stopped holding my belly in?!

So far, I've only got the sore boobs and a minor bloat - if this is anything like last time, next week will be super bloat, and the week after I'll be on the sofa trying not to hurl. Must make the most of this week!

soontobemrslizzy · 18/07/2015 19:43

Missdee, I'm so sorry about your mum. I hope the prognosis is good.

When did the nausea really start for most of you? I've had a couple of flashes of it, but no being sick and only for a little while. But I'm only 4+2.

Indomitable · 18/07/2015 19:53

6 weeks on the dot, soon. DH thought it was psychosomatic because we'd recently discovered I was pg (this was last time).

But I've heard of some getting it earlier, some later, some not at all (really want to be one of the latter this time!)

soontobemrslizzy · 18/07/2015 20:09

Thanks, Indomitable! We are driving to Scotland a few days after I hit 6 weeks, unfortunately! Not great to look forward to!

RM82 · 18/07/2015 20:44

Sorry to hear that about your mum missdee finger crossed she will be ok. It's amazing what specialists can do Hun x

shieldbug · 18/07/2015 20:51

missdee so sorry to hear about your Mum. Don't feel you need to "tough it out"; crying helps you cope in the long run. Look after yourself and feel free to share as much (or as little) as you need to on here. Thinking of you and your family.

ImGoingForATwix · 18/07/2015 23:06

Hi to all newbies! Looks like we're getting close to end of the month EDDs! The bus will soon be full.

I've been struggling a little to keep up on here recently but reading most of it. Sorry about your mum misdee ????
