Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

Last Saturday I looked 6 months pregnant - mega bloat thanks to a Chinese takeaway. I popped a button off my work trousers a week ago but everything else still seems to fit okay at the minute

I feel sluggish rather than bloated I think.

QforCucumber · 17/07/2015 20:49

5+3 and feeling huge - put on 3lbs (no idea how barely eating) and work trousers need the top button undone - going to be hugeeeeee

shieldbug · 17/07/2015 21:19

Yes to feeling huge, but in my case it's fibroids giving me an unmistakeable bump. I see people I know desperate to ask me the question, but I'm desperately trying not to give them the option! If I hadn't mc before, I might have been telling folks by now, but it's made me so cautious now. Going to pils for Sunday lunch..if anyone would dare to ask, it's my mil! (She's lovely though so I shan't mind)

Paper Didn't you say you wanted some symptoms Grin Sorry they're so grim though.

No weird dreams here yet.

Paperblank · 17/07/2015 21:20

Q have you lost your appetite or just not fancying anything? I struggled to eat half a bagel this morning - literally had to force it down and I've been the same all day, am just not feeling like eating.

Paperblank · 17/07/2015 21:23

Ha ha shield I did Grin

It wasn't much fun throwing up in tesco I can tell you!

Mrsrsw · 17/07/2015 21:52

I'm struggling to find my appetite at the mo but I've put about 3lbs on too - just feel so bloated.

Feeling really hot, clammy and faint tonight whilst I was downstairs so I've come to bed to lie down and chill out a bit. I'm so tired though I may end up falling asleep lol x

Brindler · 17/07/2015 21:57

I'm having the opposite problem and can't stop eating!!!!!

LaraNotCroft22 · 17/07/2015 22:03

Also struggling with lack of appetite/ nausea and bloating. Have early scan next wed at 8+1 by my dates.

So shattered and up tomorrow at 4:30 for an early shift ????????????

Welcome all new bfps! What a lovely busy march bus Smile

maybebabybee · 17/07/2015 22:06

Brindler me too, I've been eating like a pig. If I go 30 minutes without food I'm starving.

RM82 · 17/07/2015 22:29

I'be been the bingo. Had a burger and now home eating a tub of Pringles!! Can't stop!!!

Poppins27 · 17/07/2015 22:45

Gah I'm panicking slightly, I can see everyone with the tiredness I remember so well from having Dd1 but am still relatively symptom free. Bit tender I the boob dept but so far feeling fine, been to the gym again tonight and eating for England.

(I daren't be pleased with this in case it's bad news or if the horrendous ness is just around the corner?!)

Id also forgotten how much I blinking hate this uncertainty!! The kicks in the ribs are uncomfortable further down the line but you at least know all is well within!!

julesldn · 17/07/2015 23:00

I'm also eating non stop! But combined with lovely nausea and eating rubbish too (not like me) so bloated and sluggish. It really is fun this pregnancy lark... HmmConfusedWink

Paperblank · 18/07/2015 05:20

Not sure this is a symptom or just preparation for the future Hmm but I seem to be awake most mornings by 5am.

May as well have a Brew and stick a wash on eh?

marmitemofo · 18/07/2015 06:23

I'm also hungry all the time. nausea hasn't kicked in but my tummy feels dodgy and the only thing that seems to settle it is eating. I remember this happening with DD and I put on weight in the first trimester with her so expect it will happen again. I'm so bloated too, feel massive and fat Confused I know I'm gonna get a lot bigger though! sigh.

went for dinner with some work colleagues last night at zizzis. all the vegetarian options had goats cheese! I didn't want to ask if it was the type we're not supposed to eat, so hoped for the best. fyi they use goats cheese with rind Sad. i didn't know what to do so i ended up eating it and then spent the whole meal worrying! I know the risks are low but ugh, stressful Confused I should have just asked for it goats cheese free but had a bit of a panic/mind blank Blush

marmitemofo · 18/07/2015 06:33

also paper that's definitely a symptom; I had really bad insomnia with my DD. this time round its not my body waking me up at 5am but my DD who is going through a spell of very early waking Confused. knackered!

Me624 · 18/07/2015 07:02

marmite I ate some goats cheese with rind last night too, without even thinking about it! Just ate it and then later thought oops, not supposed to! The risks are very low so don't worry.

I had a work night out last night too and everyone was so suspicious of me not drinking - normally I have a bit of a reputation as a party girl. No one asked but I'm sure people suspect, it's just so unlike me not to have a drink!

Wonderworldx · 18/07/2015 07:03

Struggling to eat anything! Having to force myself to eat cos I know I need too!! Think it's going to be a long 7 weeks!!!

maybebabybee · 18/07/2015 07:09

Marmite that's exactly how I feel. Dodgy tummy that requires food to settle it, but not sick yet. 6 weeks tomorrow so maybe it will hit me then.

Please don't worry about the goats cheese, the risks are so low. I've had rare steak and unwashed fruit this last week because I keep forgetting. My mum was laughing when I told her all the stuff they tell you not to eat now - when she was pregnant with me you could eat anything you wanted.

BeautifulLiar · 18/07/2015 07:10

I'm eating a lot too, and a lot of crap. Last night for tea I had a bean and cheese melt and microwave chips Confused

Does anyone else eat something relatively ok, but then if they think about what they ate afterwards they feel like they're going to be sick?? I keep torturing myself!

I remember back in 2012 when I was last pregnant, and I got to the point where Tesco online groceries made me sick. To this day I still can't order from there or look at the web page!!

Paperblank · 18/07/2015 07:31

Marmite send your DD to me overnight she can keep me company and you can get some rest Grin

Kittykitty05 · 18/07/2015 07:31

marmite zizzi will swap the goats cheese for mozarella or something else if you ask. I don't eat goats cheese normally so often change it in dishes when we eat out.
Now I'm thinking of marmite, maybe I want some......!

Indomitable · 18/07/2015 10:05

At the risk of alienating myself: yay! It's the summer holidays! Grin

I can't remember if I said but on Thursday evening a bastard CB digi said "Not Pregnant" at me. Being in complete denial, I ignored it. This morning I've had a non-negotiable definite obvious line on an IC. So have that clear blue! (Might pee on the second one tomorrow). So I'm back in the game!

Just reading through the posts. I hadn't really thought about avoiding food. I had it in my mind that there were tons of things to avoid on he American apps, but that the NHS was a bit more reasonable.

But, here's their list, which includes some goats cheese but not others. Hmm

Herewegoagain31 · 18/07/2015 10:18

I had Parma ham a couple of days ago, I kindof knew in the back of my mind it wasn't great but I walked round the shop for ages trying to find something for my sandwich and there was nothing I fancied except Parma ham so I got it (and had a lovely toasted Parma ham, mozzarella, tomato and basil sandwich!) then afterwards googled it and felt v guilty but I'm hoping the chances of listeria from packet Parma ham are slim. I just had to have it that day! It's annoying I had forgotten all the food restrictions and what a pain it can be

BeautifulLiar · 18/07/2015 10:35

I know, I'm not missing alcohol yet but will at Christmas!!

Missdee2014 · 18/07/2015 10:36

Feeling generally lousy today. Got news last night that my mum has cancer :-( need to remain calm though as I've suffered with high blood pressure in every pregnancy and was hoping to avoid it this time, seems unlikely now I guess.
