Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

herewegoagain sour taste in mouth is normally one of my main symptoms, strangely not this time tho, yet. I normally have more obvious symptoms by now (7 weeks tomorrow). Lots of sucky sweets help, especially those with lingering flavours like mints.

chatty welcome to the club!

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 21:28

Yep, horrid taste over here! coke /Pepsi makes it so much worse. I was addicted to the stuff before but have gone right off it!

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 21:28

Welcome chatty :) I like March 26th as that's when I got my BFP in 2012 Blush

Chattymummyhere · 16/07/2015 21:29

I've had that sour metallic taste in my mouth the last few days. I thought a trip to the dentist was going to be needed.

Thank you kittykitty this will be dc3 here for us.

Chattymummyhere · 16/07/2015 21:30

I don't think I could remember my bfp day for my son or daughter so well done lol I'm terrible with dates though I was one of those pregnant women who was scared of forgetting her own child's dob Blush

Claramoon · 16/07/2015 21:35

Hello ladies, wd love to join. I'm 7 weeks with dc3, due 6 March. Have dd nearly 4 and ds of 1. Not got many symptoms, bit of nausea time to time, so hoping all will be ok!

Kittykitty05 · 16/07/2015 21:50

Congrats Clara!
This is also dc3 for us (preg #6).

I've had a strange sensation today which I though I'd share incase anyone else gets it. I've had lots of tummy ache this week but today it's a dragging/pulling sensation, feels odd. All symptoms have been very different this time to any previous pregnancy, and first time I've felt this.
So by this evening my googlitis has taken over, and apparently it's another normal symptom so I can stop worrying. Also found out tummy aches get worse each pregnancy which explains why it's worse this time than ever before!

Chattymummyhere · 16/07/2015 22:15

Congrats clara

Everything seems to get worse the more you've been pregnant dc1 no after birth pains, dc2 felt like I was still waiting to give birth

Embolio · 16/07/2015 22:29

That's really interesting kitty because I was just thinking today that I've had way more aching and cramping than in previous pregnancies (this will be dc3 for me all being well). Was starting to worry a bit until I read your post.

Haha I just had to read 3 pages to catch up there and now can't remember who said what!

Not much to report from me, exhausted today, could barely keep my eyes open at times, felt like a crap mum as I just stuck TV on for the kids and we veged on the sofa. Must make an effort to take them out tomorrow! I did finally ring the doctor today, my appointment is also on Tuesday and I'll be 6+4 (or +5 depending on the app!).

I haven't actually tested again since getting my bfp, for some reason I feel really superstitious about it, like if I test again there won't be a line or something (I know, I know - clearly mental). Think I'll do one before going on Tuesday though, just in caseGrin

Welcome to everyone new and congratulations xx

Anyone else had a c-section before? I had one with dd due to her being breach. Other than removing the dressing it's never bothered me. But the scare is itching a bit, has been on and off for a few days, really annoying me tonight! Section was 2 years 8 months ago.

dobbythedoggy · 16/07/2015 22:34

Scar! Not scare!

Herewegoagain31 · 16/07/2015 22:39

Glad I'm not the only one with the weird mouth taste! I don't remember it last time. So weird that hormones can make your mouth taste like this.
I'm another feeling v guilty for bad mummying -DD watches so much TV at the moment, most morning from 9-11 and then for an hour or so in the afternoon too. I just feel so rubbish all the time, some mornings I haven't been able to move, just sitting next to her on the sofa. I hate being so useless but I do remember feeling similar last time and the veil did slowly lift as 12 weeks approached so I'm holding on to that

Aww no eight! Are you ok?

Well last night was full of back to back vivid dreams, including one where Farrah from Teen Mom was trying to murder me, and one where I was part of a group of women giving birth in a shopping centre Blush

I also keep getting the "cant get up, feel like crap" moments. Making tea is like climbing a mountain. Luckily I knew this would happen and I've ordered really easy meals for the kids for the next few weeks.

Paperblank · 17/07/2015 07:25

I'm having some corking dreams Grin I am amazed at how complicated and random they are.

6 weeks today, still doesn't feel real sometimes. I am telling my sister tomorrow because my hen do is in two weeks and there was a number of alcohol related activities!! My friends will all find out at my hen do.

When are you all announcing the happy news?

Wonderworldx · 17/07/2015 07:28

We got our BFP 2 days ago now, I have taken 5 tests can't quite believe it, I was on the pill so we wernt trying, but we are both over the moon!! By my dates I'm 5+1 but already want to shout it to the world!!

Thinking of having an early scan around 8 weeks?! Anyone ever had one at this point before?!

Congratulations everyone!

Mrsrsw · 17/07/2015 07:38

Awww there are loads of us in May!

I'm terrified of needles, I always go really faint when they take my bloods so I'm dreading it! X

Me624 · 17/07/2015 07:53

Welcome newbies!

wonderworld I am having a scan at 8+1, next weekend. I am 7 weeks today. I can't wait, especially for DH to see it because it's like he doesn't really believe it's real yet until he's seen it. As long as everything is ok with the scan, we're going to tell my parents that day. Not his though as they can't be trusted! So far I've told my best friend and that's it.

It was terrifying! Farrah is actually quite scary Hmm

Think we'll announce after 12 week scan - never left it that long before. It's trying to hide the sickness...

DH surprised me and is actually coming home tonight which I'm really happy about Grin going to hand him the kids for the weekend I think and "relax"!

BeautifulLiar · 17/07/2015 08:24
