Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

Thanks rosie & marmite I had read they can be a bit unpredictable. It's just me being me, expecting my body to be like clockwork!! Oh I have a lot to learn!

indomitable let us know how you get on Smile

I've had my scan appt come through today Grin 25th August

Decided we're going to book an early scan for the last week in July before I go on hols.

Boob soreness and achy hips have gone and been replaced by the feeling I'm going to throw up - and it's definitely all day sickness haha

Me624 · 16/07/2015 18:36

Tmi alert but has anyone else had loads of discharge? I've always been a person who gets quite a lot of it but since I got my bfp there's tons, every day!

treehousethunderstorm · 16/07/2015 18:46

Yes Me - I've had loads too

dobbythedoggy · 16/07/2015 19:00

For a few wonderful hours this morning I didn't feel sick. Made it out to the last week of the parenting group dd and I've been going to. Very glad we did, even managed to make it through the end of term lunch. Cream crackers, fruit pastles and 7up seemed to be the answer for a few short hours! Then the horriable feeling came back with full force on the way home.

Dd has just spoon fed me some beans on toast, because mummy has to eat too! She thinks my tummy is scrambly because it's hungery. She also dropped me in it with one of the other mums talking in great detail about taking me to the hospital on the bus!

I don't usually do fizzy drinks or sweets so think some of the people close to us are going to notice the contant sweet sucking and pop habbit. But will stick with it if it stops me being physically sick!

Got to find the energy to do bedtime, could happily fall asleep where I'm sat. Dd is running laps around the living room!

Paperblank · 16/07/2015 19:00

I am going to regret saying this I know....

I want morning sickness
I want a craving (or 6)
I want to have a bump.

At the minute it feels like this pregnancy is in my head and I can't wait for it to be obvious!

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 19:09

Tonnes of discharge here too. I keep panicking that it might be blood.

I'm not going to find out the sex :) although I just know everyone is going to say it will be a girl, as I've already had two girls with DH. I cba with people saying it Sad

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 19:09

I can't wait to have a bump either!

QforCucumber · 16/07/2015 19:19

Ooo scan dates coming through - exciting now!
We will be finding out the sex - purely because dp is one of 4 boY's and only has nephews so wants to know if it's a girl so he can prepare himself haha!

Paperblank · 16/07/2015 19:20

Beautiful I'm the same - tmi but when I wipe I just pray there's no blood.

Happily I've just POAS...thought I'd use them up and it's always good to check! Grin

Me624 · 16/07/2015 19:42

Yes beautiful - me too - I've been doing lots of loo trips, partly because I do need to wee more and partly because I just want to keep checking!

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 19:43

Don't get me wrong, I'll be dying to find out at the scan but I'll hold it in! DH is desperate to know but I've told him not to keep pestering me cos I've made the decision!

Ooh I'm guessing you got the result you wanted Paper Grin and if that's TMI then I'm TMI too, I'm constantly inspecting the colour of the tissue paper after wiping Blush

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 19:50

Ooh exciting scan dates!

I think mine will be August 28th (they only do them on Fri and Wed here).

It's DS' birthday on August 29th, so I was thinking of getting him a "To My Big Brother" card, putting a scan picture inside and then telling him the good news? Or is that lame?!

We're not telling the kids before 12 weeks in case 1) anything happens and 2) they tell everyone!!

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 19:50

Sorry, meant to say it'll be his 7th birthday

julesldn · 16/07/2015 19:52

Kittykitty - sorry to hear you're poorly! A friend of mine had to raise her BP with food too and her doctor recommended lots of salted crisps! Also you could try things like chips with lots of added salt or adding salt to any food you're cooking? Hope all is well at your next docs app! X

julesldn · 16/07/2015 19:55

Also, I feel really behind! I went to the GP when I found out (about 3/4 weeks) and she said to go get a blood test and then pick a hospital. Going to get my blood test done on Monday and referred myself to the hospital last night online but should k have contacted them before or should I be doing something else?! I think I'm 8 weeks now so sounds like I should be having my booking in app around now? Help! X

Poppins27 · 16/07/2015 20:04

Hello again, reassuring to hear others are symptom free also, as I am 6 weeks today and exactly the same.

Although I remember being exactly the same at this point at my friends wedding, having a massive meltdown at the reception as I couldn't have a drink but 'didn't even feel pregnant', then about 3 days later the sickness started....and never stopped!!! It's my friends wedding anniversary today and I am due 1 day later than last time so I'm keeping well and truly silentWink

I'm so slack compared to all you guys, only rang GP today to see what I needed to do, have midwifes number now to self refer but working tomorrow so hopefully will do that next week?!

I forgot how looooong these 12 weeks are!!!

Poppins27 · 16/07/2015 20:07

Sorry Jules I have no idea, when I spoke to the GP today I was just asked to ring the midwives directly?! Obviously different procedures in different areas?!

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 20:07

6 weeks today here too Poppins :) I would have been slack, but I had a GP appointment on the day I POAS, so ended up abandoning my plans to discuss my horrendous PMT and told them I was pregnant instead!

shieldbug · 16/07/2015 20:20

misdee I get horrendous hayfever too (when unmedicated I can sneeze so much I puke), but the dr said the best medication during the early stages was the one you're normally on (can't quite remember the name cos I normally get different stuff). i'm on one a day, but I stopped taking it when I kept falling asleep during the day! She also said that the occasional squirt of beconase was ok (which has been a life saver for me) , but I save it up for days I'm despairing of actually being able to function because I'm sneezing so much. Today has been AWFUL, despite beconase; I was nearly in tears at one stage. The irony is, we have rain here in NI so I don't even get the consolation of a nice summer's day!
Anyway, hope this helps.

julesldn · 16/07/2015 20:29

Thanks anyway poppins! Fingers crossed they get back to me this week - if not I'll be on the phone first thing Monday morning (or whenever I can drag myself out of bed ????) haha

dobbythedoggy · 16/07/2015 20:32

www.hay-band.co.uk/

Sorry to those of you suffering with hayfever. Mine was triggered really badly by tree pollen when pregnant with dd. Wore two haybands (as well as seabands) and it really helped, I would just throw up an pill I took. So pleased not to be surrounded by trees this time!

I've developed a hatred a cheep toilet paper in loos while out and about. Makes me panic when the nasty stuff is greyish brown after wiping. Keep meaning to put some of our really white stuff in my bag, but keep forgetting to do so.

Herewegoagain31 · 16/07/2015 20:32

Does anyone else have a horrid taste in their mouth?! It's doing my nut in, if I eat or drink it goes then back it comes again a few minutes later! It makes me feel more sick. ugh!

Paperblank · 16/07/2015 20:45

Poppins the weeks are going soooo slowly! I'm 6 weeks tomorrow so another 6 weeks to go before the scan. It seems like forever to wait.

I might have to raise the subject of a private scan again. I can't wait to see our little lump.

Chattymummyhere · 16/07/2015 20:53

Can I join? I've just tested tonight ( 3 times) according to the due date calculator I will be due the 26th March. 3 weeks 5 days... Still don't think it's true and have Dh for more tests Blush
