Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the group. Got my bfp yesterday, due date is 24th March by my dates (14th March going on lmp though). I've already got a ds who is 15 months; he turns 2 exactly two weeks after this baby is due.

Very excited to be here Smile.

maybebabybee · 17/07/2015 08:26

I don't have a metallic taste in my mouth but I do have a kind of horrible sourish/dry taste....does that count? Like I've always got a nasty flavour in my mouth no matter what I eat.

I feel like I'm needing to eat absolutely all the time at the moment or I feel either sick or starving. I'm really worried I'm going to get huge. Pre-pregnancy I was very slightly overweight (only like 2 or 3 lbs) but I'm worried I'm going to turn into a whale. I'm only 5ft 2 so every single pound shows up on me.

My boobs are a 32GG as well so they're going to be enormous, aren't they...

Wonderworldx · 17/07/2015 08:53

Congratulations everyone!

Got our BFP 2 days ago, and very shocked, but very excited. We weren't actually trying, so very shocked! By my calculations I'm 5+1

We have told my mum, but I'm terrified to tell partners parents, we are due to get married in 2017, and they are strong catholics, so am so scared to tell them we will be having a baby first! Im sure they will be excited after 5 minutes, but scared of there initial reaction! Tempted to get an early scan at around 8/9 weeks to show them that. (hopefully if everything goes to plan)

Ahhhh, this is going to be the longest 7 weeks ever!!!

Wonderworldx · 17/07/2015 08:55

So stupid just realised my last post did send, when i didn't think it had!!

Sorry!

QforCucumber · 17/07/2015 09:11

So far we have told my best friend, dp's younger brother and both his parents.
I'm hoping to hold off telling work for a while - a bit nervous as there's only 4 of us in the office including my manager. going to ask for an 8 or 9 week scan, if all is ok then I'll tell work and my mum.

maybe Mine are 32ff - soooo heavy already I feel like they're going to fall off Sad

Welcome newbies!

maybebabybee · 17/07/2015 09:13

Qfor mine don't seem to have increased in size yet thank god (which is more than I can say for the rest of me, I swear to god my belly looks pregnant already!)

welcome wonder. I know what you mean about the longest 7 weeks ever. I will turn 12 weeks over the August bank holiday weekend. Feels like forever to wait and yet if I wasn't preggo I bet it would come around really quickly!

RM82 · 17/07/2015 10:12

Congratulations trinpy & Wonderworldx

Chattymummyhere · 17/07/2015 10:29

I woke up aching all over this morning and pins and needles in my arms. I'm not liking that at all.

Rang the doctors this morning who have taken my details for the midwife to call me to arrange my booking in appointment.

I don't think it will feel real till I've seen the midwife, as I don't tend to have much luck between finding out and booking in, in my history.

BeautifulLiar · 17/07/2015 10:58

Morning sickness feels worse now. Feeling very sorry for myself. Haven't taken the girls to their toddler group. Feel guilty. Just want to sleep

Chattymummyhere · 17/07/2015 11:07

Oh here's a funny one from last night. The kids wanted pizza for dinner what with it being the last day of school so I put the oven on, left it 40minutes or so and went to check how the pizzas where doing.. Only to realise the pizzas where still in the fridge I hadn't put them in the oven. Blush

SunnyL · 17/07/2015 11:24

Hi can I join? Got a bfp today which puts me with a due date of 30th march if the online calendars are to be believed. This is #2 for me - I have a 2 year old DD.

Going to be a shock to go back to waking up all night again!

marmitemofo · 17/07/2015 11:27

hello all the newbies!

morning sickness hasn't kicked in properly yet, though I feel very grotty and horrible with a bad feeling in my stomach. my DP is going away with work for a week next week - not sure how I'm going to cope if sickness has kicked in by then!

wonderworld I was quite worried about telling DPs parents when I was pregnant with DD two years ago - his mother isn't catholic but is v religious. she was completely fine! too excited to care, and if its ever bothered her she hasn't ever shown it. strangely enough his brother (who isn't religious in the slightest) was quite weird about it - the first thing he asked was if it was planned. then when we said yes he asked if we were getting married! all before saying congratulations Hmm I guess its still unusual to have children before marriage? me and DP never really could be arsed to get married and have a wedding!

Chattymummyhere · 17/07/2015 11:43

Me and Dh had two children before we got married, our first ended up due days before we where meant to get married so we canceled. I don't think mine or his parents are going to take the news of number 3 well as we already have one of each and still don't own our own home yet.

maybebabybee · 17/07/2015 11:44

marmite me and DP aren't married, and I think his family might find it slightly weird we're reproducing before getting married

We will get married at some point I'm sure, just more bothered about starting a family and buying a house first tbh.

BeautifulLiar · 17/07/2015 11:56

We had 4 before marriage, rent out home and will probably never own it. Oh and we split up in April and although we've sorted things and the relationship is much better now I didn't expect to conceive a baby the first time we slept together after splitting! So yeh, the news will probably go down like a lead balloon over here...

BeautifulLiar · 17/07/2015 11:57

Oops, we had 3, not 4 Blush

treehousethunderstorm · 17/07/2015 12:25

Has anyone else been having vivid dreams. Mine have been going on for the past few weeks, every night, but this week I have been waking and seeing something moving on the ceiling, one night it was worms and last night it was flies. I have switched the bedside lamp on before I realise its not real Confused

BeautifulLiar · 17/07/2015 12:26

Yep treehouse, see my post from this morning Grin

Raeside · 17/07/2015 12:26

Hullo - may I please join?

Got FRER today after 2 internet cheapies gave faint lines. Post-gym I went straight to Boots and then peed on sticks in the Westfield loos. Such class, such special memories....!

Anyway it was 13 months of trying for us to ttc #2. Here's hoping it sticks. Early EDD calcs have it arriving 25/3/16.

Congrats to all you!

Mrsrsw · 17/07/2015 12:32

Cbd is 3 weeks + now!

That was what I was waiting and hoping for so woooohoooo! Grin

treehousethunderstorm · 17/07/2015 12:41

Sorry Beautiful, and I had read your post as well Blush I must be more tired then I realised!

Wonderworldx · 17/07/2015 12:44

Thankyou, that has made me feel better! Only time will tell I guess, we already own a home so fingers crossed that should make it better!!

Morning sickness today is awful! Just nothing sounds good!!

BeautifulLiar · 17/07/2015 12:46

Haha it's ok. I've just woken up and found my 2 and 4 year old asleep around me Blush

Congrats on the 3+! I've held off buying another one as they're so expensive. Need to save the money for takeaways when cooking is beyond me!

Mrsrsw · 17/07/2015 12:52

Lol, I bought a pack of 2 when I first tested so I've been waiting til now to crack open the next one Wink

QforCucumber · 17/07/2015 12:54
