Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

maybe yes that's exactly how I feel at the moment - not quite nausea but definite unpleasant feeling in my stomach. it was on/off past couple of days but since this morning has got worse and is constant. still no proper nausea though. I also haven't got sore boobs yet at all (apart from very occasional stabby pains). I remember with DD having really painfail boobs from quite early on, so had a bit of a wobble to DP this morning about lack of symptoms Confused must remember I'm only 5+4 though, it's still very early

marmitemofo · 16/07/2015 09:26

*painful. really need to proof read my posts!

Rosieblossom123 · 16/07/2015 09:28

I thought I was lucky with not having any morning sickness until today :( I did read that it kicks in on your sixth week!! 6+1 today, ginger biscuits are my best friends today

maybebabybee · 16/07/2015 09:31

marmite I'm 5+4 today too :) MC at 5+5 last time so am very wobbly about lack of symptoms. On the plus side my pee sticks have had way stronger lines this time round, and I got my 3+ on cb digi - last time it didn't even get past 1-2 weeks, even at 5+3.

QforCucumber · 16/07/2015 10:40

Just had my initial 'early bird' appointment - what a waste of bloody time.

It wasn't even a midwife - it was a pregnancy adviser, basically telling me what to expect from my booking in appointment in 3 weeks. asked about monitoring due to complications with mmc last time - and she told me to make a GP appointment if I'm worried (I dont know if a restin heart rate of 98 and low blood pressure should be a worry or not)

I am annoyed though, morning off work for a pointless appointment to be told to make an appointment?! Too many appointments arghhhhh!

maybebabybee · 16/07/2015 10:45

Qfor sounds really annoying.

I'm seeing my GP next Monday (27th) when I'll be 7+1. Going to beg for an early scan!

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 11:04

6 weeks today, right on cue the nausea has ramped up. Envy

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 11:05

Oh and apparently I just need to wait for the midwives to ring me back at around 8 weeks. Come oooon!

Kittykitty05 · 16/07/2015 11:24

Argued my way into a doctors appointment as still dizzy and heart racing. My blood pressure is very low, so having blood tests done, but can't get app for that till Wednesday, lots of rest and increase salt intake. Any ideas of best way to do this, other than peanuts? Glad I'm not working at the mo!

Rosieblossom123 · 16/07/2015 11:25

QforCucumber I tell you what, I hate doctors and gp's seriously they have to wait until you're dying to help you and take you seriously. I was panicking when I read about ectopic pregnancies and told my partner shouldn't they do an early scan for all women to make sure it's not ectopic rather than finding out on the 12th week? some things I just don't get!!!

BeautifulLiar isn't it horrible :( I can't function at work today just want to curl up in bed and sleep!! We're basically at the same stage, 6+1 today! see my gp said when I phoned that midwifes appointments are booked on week 9! so mine is booked for the 3rd August! Hurry up!!!! haha

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 12:46

Rosie - yep, horrible! Ooh so are you due on the 10th? I think I'm 11th, but periods were a bit irregular, so I think it'll change a couple of days at the scan. You're doing really well managing at work! I'm a SAHM this time... better in some ways, but then I've still got to look after the younger ones! I've unashamedly hired a cleaner though who is due to start on Tuesday...

QforCucumber · 16/07/2015 13:05

Well made the GP appointment - it's on Tuesday, 6 weeks exactly that day. March feels like it's so far away

Me624 · 16/07/2015 13:11

I'm another one with no real symptoms at 6+6. Decided there is no point worrying about this as plenty of women sail through pregnancy with no symptoms and I'm probably just one of the lucky ones! (of course there is still plenty of time for morning sickness to hit.)

Rosieblossom123 · 16/07/2015 13:13

BeautifulLiar according to the due date calculators i'm due on the 9th so I guess the scan will be more accurate so we'll see even though my cycle is 28days and all the websites say the 9th.

I struggling really bad, feel like I want to be sick but I can't and my trips to the loo are getting more frequent haha aw bless you how old are you little ones? I don't blame you I need a cleaner too have no energy to clean and don't trust my partner to do it Wink haha

RhubarbAndMustard · 16/07/2015 13:22

Maybe and Marmite, I'm about the same stage as you both at 5+5 a no real symptoms apart from very minor nausea. I'm also panicking a bit, but have to remind myself that I didn't have any major symptoms with DS either. Next week we'll probably all have our heads in the toilet bowl!

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 16/07/2015 13:24

I have my GP appointment tomorrow morning, i'm not sure when my booking in appointment will be, with DD it was around 12 weeks and if that is the case here (we've moved since) then it won't be for aaaggggeeesss! Although we are very busy over the next few weeks so I am sure time will fly!

I'm feeling so rough, nausea, headaches and funny ache in my pubic bone today. My dd is at nursery and I'm meant to be working - safe to say not much is getting done and I'm going to head back to bed for a nap in a minute.

Can't get excited about the pregnancy yet as I just want the nausea to go away. Everything makes me want to vom. Give me child birth any day over the S**te feeling! Hate to moan but can't help it!

I also feel for my dd as mummy's not her usual laid back happy self, being such a crap mum and wife!

maybebabybee · 16/07/2015 13:27

rhubarb I know, and my best friend had a miscarriage even when her symptoms were really extreme, so it isn't really an indication of anything. These first 12 weeks are such a nerve wracking time though.

smirking don't be so hard on yourself lovely! you are pregnant, you are not a crap mum and wife!

Herewegoagain31 · 16/07/2015 14:05

Loopy sorry to hear about all your miscarriages, my friend had very similar and also had 2 rounds of IVF they couldn't work out why she kept losing the babies, then she had something called intralipid (sp?) injections (to reduce her immune response to the baby - that may not be relevant to you though) and was put on clexane and progesterone as soon as she found out she was pregnant and she carried the baby to term completely fine and healthy. So fingers crossed for you that starting the clexane and progesterone this early will help keep this baby safe x

My DH is working away so I can't even have his sub standard cleaning! He hasn't worked away for months but is now working away for most of my first trimester, brilliant.

My other DCs are 6, 4 and 2. Cannot wait until September. The eldest two will be in school, the two year old will be in nursery three days a week and I should have had first scan by then. I plan to spend the time nesting, daydreaming about the baby, shopping and watching Desperate Housewives...

Rosieblossom123 · 16/07/2015 15:53

BeautifulLiar wow you're busy :) at least it takes your off things in the first trimester hay :)

That's good by the time your hubby comes back you'll be ready to see your little bub!! I can't wait to start the baby shopping they've got brilliant stuff in the shops :) oooo I love a bit of desperate housewives Wink

BeautifulLiar · 16/07/2015 16:16

Haha I know. But yes it should make things go a little quicker! I love Desperate Housewives. I bought nearly all the series for £3 in a charity shop! Shock

Will you be finding out the sex?

RM82 · 16/07/2015 16:33

I'm 5+2 today - I don't know what possessed me, but I did another Clear Blue digital today - it still only says 2-3 weeks - should I be worried? It showed 2-3 weeks when I tested 11 days ago when I was only 3+5 Confused I tested about the same time of day last time too.

Anyone else had issues with these tests - I just want to see my 3+ so bad on it!

Rosieblossom123 · 16/07/2015 17:30

BeautifulLiar it defo will go quicker don't worry same here counting the weeks, we'll be laughing when we look back at these conversations haha £3?? I'm so jealous lol I once sat there watching them the whole weekend in the same pjs ops haha Blush

First we said we didn't want to find out then we decided we will because I like the cossato buggies and the ones we like are either for a girl or a boy so we'll see :) what about you? you wanna find out?

RM82 I wouldn't worry too much make sure you test first thing in the morning tho thats the best time. Try again next week hun

marmitemofo · 16/07/2015 17:30

I wouldn't be worried RM82, the clear blue digital are notorious for being inaccurate for number of weeks. I was going to buy one today but thought since I'm only 5+4 it might not say 3+ weeks and I really want to wait until I'm sure it'll say 3+. I'd say if you're that concerned you could try in a week or so, but right now I wouldn't worry about it

Indomitable · 16/07/2015 17:39

Hello!

I've got some CB digis coming in the shopping delivery this evening. I've never used one! But I've also never had a feint BFP before (with DS, AF was already a week late when the ICs arrived - there was no mistaking that line!). But having decided that #2 will be the last, this might be my only opportunity. I want it to say "pregnant" - only expecting 1-2 weeks as technically I'm only just 4 weeks still. AF due tomorrow.

Regarding symptoms & morning pregnancy sickness - since sieve-brain on Tuesday, I've made an effort to have more sleep and have functioned much better. Some stretchy crampyness yesterday but felt different to normal PMS cramps. Not so much today. I'm trying to enjoy the wonder of early pregnancy right now, rather than stress. Last time nausea hit me like a spade in the face at 6 weeks. I hope I can put the stress and misery off till then!

Huge sympathy for those suffering. There's nothing much that makes a difference, other than sleep.
