Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

Just a reminder that we also have a Facebook group if anyone wants to join (not trying to pull people off of this thread). Send me your email via pm and I will send an invitation. It's a secret group so no one will see it except invited members

welcome effie

to those having their fourth - I am one of four and it's ace :) Your DC are very lucky!

Candlefairy101 · 03/07/2015 09:05

Sorry for the spellings, I'm on the phone app ????

Candlefairy101 · 03/07/2015 09:07

I'm glad you said the effy, know one seems to be happy for me with having my 3rd, because I have one of each and my youngest is nine months and I suffered HG with her ( luckily nothing l
This time) they're all very concerned, but u think it's just a shock for my mum and MIL, everyone else has just excepted that I'm some kind I of breeding machine lol x

maybebabybee · 03/07/2015 09:09

candle I know people are weird these days about having more than two kids, but I always loved being part of such a big family!

I'm worried about how much weight I'm going to put on. I'm not massively overweight or anything (my BMI is about 26 and I have huge boobs which don't help) but I'm currently sitting at about 10st 3. Really really don't want to put on more than a stone!

Haha love it eight! With my first I went back down to a 6, my 2nd was not long ago and I'm now a 10 by I much prefer it Smile but I bet with my 3rd I'm going to be eating a lot again like my 1st because I don't feel sick . I always hated being so skinny and always wanted to put on weight and I feel a lot better for it, more energy. It feeling sick. I dread to think what size I'll be after my 3rd because I'm not getting much better gap between the pregnancies but hayhoo I'll be a big cuddly mummy WinkGrinSmile

Candlefairy101 · 03/07/2015 09:28

Maybe I come from a large family home, there's 10 of us (4 generations in one house) but mum only had 3 because she not maternal but my dad would of had a football team! I still live at home because everytime I move out he begs me to come home with my family Smile he lives children and a hectic house, we also have 4 dogs, 4 fish ponds, a reptile room, birds and god knows what else I forget lol, I'm only 25 and I am an extrovert (like to socialise) but I love children and babies so much I keep having ten lol xx I always said I was going to start having children you (I already have a career in veterinary, I didn't this while I had my first) so it's not like I'm young and just have children, my husband and me went to school together and are still together so I say we're already 10 years ahead of most people lol, I always said 2 kids was not enough bra sue when I'm gone at least they'll always have each other x

WouldRatherHaveCake · 03/07/2015 10:12

Morning ladies! Just popping in to say hello. So far I have an EDD of 28th or 29th Feb but I fully expect a March baby if all goes well. Fingers crossed

Dreya · 03/07/2015 13:32

Hello newbies! MovingUpwards that's a really good way of thinking about it. Chickpea I have pm'd you. Smile

BeautifulLiar · 03/07/2015 14:29

Glad to hear its good being one of four! I did another clear blue this morning and it's gone up to 2-3 weeks so that's put me in a good mood.

Sooo scared about the sickness starting!

candle are you me? haha. I was 22 when I got pregnant with my third, but already had a boy and a girl, and had HG with the youngest who was 9 months at the time.

maybebaby what are your three? I have a boy and two girls, but don't have any preferences for this one.

MovingUpwards · 03/07/2015 14:34

Hey Beautiful I am due on March 1st. I've gone 10 days over twice naturally and one induction at 7days over so Im already trying to tell myself it will be March 10th.

Im already nervous about when we tell people, 4 seems like a big family around here, most of my friends have 2 or 3 and are finished. I have always wanted 4 though! Im worried as well, DHs family looked horrified last year when I said I'd still like one more when most people assumed we were finished just because we have a DS now after 2 DDs Grin

BeautifulLiar · 03/07/2015 16:38

My DC weren't too late luckily. But yes, people will not understand why we want another! Well, not that this was planned but it's a very happy accident Smile

laughingGnomette · 03/07/2015 17:32

Hi ladies! Very cautiously joining here! BFP this morning with a due date of 12/03/2016. My period is due tomorrow and I had a painful four day bleed a couple of weeks ago (hence the caution) but the test gave me a strong positive so fingers crossed. I've no idea what the bleed was.

I'm feeling a bit sick and tired but that could be because I'm in the middle of potty training DS!! Eugh!

Lucy61 · 03/07/2015 19:06

Those of you who have done this before, when did your bump arrive/ started to 'show'?

BeautifulLiar · 03/07/2015 19:16

I'm quite petite and have teeny babies so with my first the bump wasn't very obvious until I was about 23 weeks.

probably about 16 weeks with the second and third - or earlier if I filled my bladder and pushed my uterus up Grin

Lucy61 · 03/07/2015 19:22

I had a small bump at 13/14 weeks with my DS1. In my last pregnancy, which ended in mc, I started to look 'round' at 8 weeks.

I love a good bump.

ImGoingForATwix · 03/07/2015 20:38

I needed to wear bigger trousers by about 13/14 weeks last time but no obvious bump until about 18 weeks I think. My tummy muscles are buggered now so expect it to be much sooner this time. I'm using my fitness pal to track calories (I'm not dieting) to help me be more aware of what I'm eating and hopefully stop me from putting on too much weight. I gained 4 stone last time. Not doing that again! (She says...)

ImGoingForATwix · 03/07/2015 20:39

And welcome to all those who got their bfp today!

ImGoingForATwix · 03/07/2015 20:41

Also (I need to try and just post once!) no sore boobs last time or this time so far. The odd tingle but I always think it's odd it's listed as a common symptom yet loads don't get it.

maybebabybee · 03/07/2015 21:21

Twix I really thought that everyone got sore boobs, hence me being so worried I don't have them!

Candlefairy101 · 03/07/2015 21:48

My bumbs don't usually start to show till I'm about 5 months but then omg all of a sudden I swallowed a football, I'm wearing my normal jeans up until 5 months x

smallbird · 03/07/2015 22:08

I'm one of five, and I like having lots of siblings. It's always been really good fun and we get on really well as adults now which is great.

That said I think DC2 will be our last. DH only wants two, and we both have a lot of multiples in our families so the risk of DC3 also being DC4 is too much. Plus moving house, and getting a bigger car, and all the other rejigging is a lot of money. My heart wants 4 kids, but my head knows it's not a good idea for our family!

I had sore boobs last time but not this time. Not had many symptoms for a couple of days now actually, but I refuse to panic!

I think a friend got suspicious about me not drinking a few days ago. I claimed it was too hot to drink, but then stayed out longer than I intended to and it was much cooler at the end. Oops. Need a better excuse for tomorrow night when I'm out with family. Planning to say I don't want to drink much as I'm in sole charge of DD (which is true as DH won't be with us).

MovingUpwards · 03/07/2015 22:56

Has anyone found a decent pregnancy app that you dont need to sign up to? I should know, had one for DS born last July but cant remember what it was called! Ive tried downloading a couple but they all want an email address and I dont want to sign up to junk mail. I need an android app if anyone finds one!

Kittykitty05 · 03/07/2015 23:54

Hi
A very tentative joining in. I've got a nearly 12yo and a 7yo. I've had repeated mmc in the past, the last of those was June last year. I lost my beautiful baby boy back in March when 4 months pregnant due to a very rare thing called Patau syndrome.
We'd not actually started trying again yet, or decided we would but someone obviously has other ideas! Af didn't show up last weekend and eventually tested today to find a bfp!
Because of my rubbish history I know I'll be seriously monitored, including lots of extra scans, Harmony testing done at 10 weeks but until that comes back clear I can't trust that this will work out. Must try more positive thinking maybe!
