Mars and May sorry to hear about your struggle , sending you good wishes Flowers

I'm hungry most of the time. when I start eating I loose my appetite and getting full quickly. I am the cook in the house so have to smell and try everything before dinner. I really lost my appetite for our regular, healthy, full of vegetables food. I cook it and when I start to eat, I don't like it any more. most of our regular tastes/spices put me off eating.
I'm loving croissants, cakes, cheese, pizza and other full of carbs and fat food now ;)

Mumof1sofar · 17/06/2015 21:17

Wow there are 52 of us now Grin

Blue we are all here to support you. Thanks

Sorry for the nausea may & Mars.

Brummiegirl15 · 17/06/2015 21:33

Blue and others who are struggling Flowers

MemphisBella · 17/06/2015 21:34

Evening all.

Place marking new thread. I was very quiet on the last one as I had lots of bleeding which scared the pants off me. One early scan later, and there's two, yes, TWO sacs in there. One is sadly a lot smaller than the other and to quote the sonographer "might not make it" so I've got another scan a week tomorrow to see if it's grown. FX for 2 heartbeats, although then I'd have 3 under 18 months in Feb, which is frankly terrifying.

I'm thing to hold off on the FB group until 12 weeks as well - if anything went wrong before then I'd have to have to leave it.

I hope everyone's well, and not throwing up as much as I am lately.

twinsandapenguin · 17/06/2015 21:46

Congratulations Rufus, great news. And Memphis wow! I will keep my fingers crossed.

Tonight was shitty. We had a babysitter and were meant to be going out. Instead dd refused to go to sleep and screamed for 2 hours instead. Joy

Blue & May Thanks

Welcome, Giraffe.

Memphis! Wow. Three under 18 months. I hope your little one makes it Thanks How far along are you?

MemphisBella · 17/06/2015 22:00

6+5 I think, Purdie. That next scan can't come quickly enough.

purdiepie · 17/06/2015 22:03

Yep, you'll find that's the case whenever you have a scan, Memphis; the reassurance and relief lasted precisely 72 hours for me until the irrational thoughts came flooding back (sigh).

GoulashSoup · 17/06/2015 22:07

Wow Memphis, what a roller coaster. Fingers crossed for both your little heartbeats.

haquoi123 · 17/06/2015 22:07

Absolutely got my fingers crossed for you memphis xx

CatnipMouse · 17/06/2015 22:20

Hello all, have been lurking but not posting for a while. All is well for me as far as I can tell. I have an early (7 weeks exactly) scan on Friday, it is part of my IVF care. I am starting to feel rather worried about my tiny one as I have not had many symptoms. But as so many people have said, no symptoms is normal, feeling completely awful is also normal too!

memphis I might be joining the potential twin gang with you, as they transferred two frozen embryos ... we'll find out Friday if they both decided to hang around...

I have no problem hearing about others' anxieties and I really hope that everyone makes it through to the end. It is nice to be supportive and have a place to ask questions. Thanks for the sex discussion just now - v useful!!

rufus that's great news, hurray!
twinsandapenguin urgh sorry about your evening out :o(

MemphisBella · 17/06/2015 22:37

Hello Catnip may we produce four babies between us. Welcome.

Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts - I'll let you know next Thursday what the scan says. I'm keeping everything crossed that Bean2 is sticky.

Marsaday · 17/06/2015 22:39

memphis wow! Fx for them both.
may sorry to hear you're feeling yuck too.
twins how do kids always know when youre daring to plan a couple of hours to yourself ? My ds has the trick of waking up just as the babysitter leaves then.refusing to settle for the next 3 hours, making a very frustrating end to a nice evening out!

CatnipMouse · 17/06/2015 22:42

twinsandapenguin sorry I didn't mean to do a grinning smiley, it was supposed to be a sad face, I should have used 'preview'!

Mumof1sofar · 17/06/2015 23:08

Wow Memphis that's so exciting!!! SmileSmileSmile congrats!

Twins, poor you. That sucks. Is dd ill?

Night all. Hope everyone sleeps well.SmileWink

Brummiegirl15 · 17/06/2015 23:15

Memphis wow that's certainly news!!

Really hope little bean manages to hang on

Rufus200 · 17/06/2015 23:17

Good Luck Memphis

So this little piggy ate an entire portion of Singapore noodles to herself and then ate all of DH's portion as he apparently felt nauseous with sympathy pregnancy nausea, now seriously regretting eating double what I would normally eat! If I'm sick tonight then it is 100% my own fault!!!

Bosabosa · 17/06/2015 23:47

Hi all, I have been lurking a bit and trying to read all of this new thread and it is great to see so much good news- heartbeats etc!
I can't seem to add my details on spreadsheet- if anyone more computer literate than me can add me (a six year old should do it!) that would be grand:

Age:35 and 11/12s!; first pregnancy, 4 or 5 weeks (my cycle is a mystery to me), due 11th-17th Feb, symptoms : cramping, leg ache, soft stools (tmi?!), sore nipples, from the South-East

I do not really know what to expect and it is great to have a place to share worries and gain/give support. would like to join the FB group once am a bit further along !

Night night- sticky vibes to one and all

Raffertys · 18/06/2015 06:28

Wow memphis! Fingers crossed your little bean is ok.

Hi and welcome bosa

I'm sitting on the train trying not to throw up Envy Work is killing me. I do 13 hour days and I've no idea how I'm going to get through the next few weeks Sad It's made even harder by the fact that only my boss knows so all my team think I'm a miserable, fat, moody cow who eats a bag of crisps at 10am.

Marsaday · 18/06/2015 06:39

rafferty poor you, i hope you feel better as the day goes on. I feel the same about work, but have resigned myself to phoning im.sick if i have a really bad day.
Realisation has dawned on me that next week i have a full day teaching, followed by dentention duty until 4.20, then parents evening from 5-8.30pm. This is bit of a killer without being preggo, no idea how i will cope if sick. I am normally most nauseous in the evenings, have been just lying on sofa groaning, so talking to parents will be a challenge! Also the toilets are miles away from the room if i need to puke, dont think id get there!!

Any bright ideas how to deal with that ladies?

Brummiegirl15 · 18/06/2015 06:49

Raff I eat a pack of crisps at 10am too - pleased I'm not the only one, but feel guilty that I do. I'm eating 3 packs a day at the moment I going to end up being a right fat cow at this rate

I was so tired driving home yesterday that I forgot where I was going on a roundabout and got really disorientated.

I don't envy you though. I used to work on the Southbank and commute by train into Marylebone - Jesus I don't miss that, the stifling hot tube.

Feeling a bit sorry for myself too, shoving progesterone where the sun doesn't shine and stabbing myself in the stomach is not filling me with joy.

And Christ I really really miss sex. I'm so tired when I get in to bed that I'm sparko before DP even thinks about coming to bed.

That said, I'm grateful to feel this shit

Purdie hope the drugs are working!!!!

Welcome from me Bosa

twinsandapenguin · 18/06/2015 06:55

Carlton - that grinny face is just what dd was doing at 2am. JUST GO TO SLEEP!!
Needless to say I feel like I have been hit by a train this morning. She has been sleeping so well lately, I think it is starting nursery that is unsettling her.
I hope everyone manages to survive the day!

Well I've ended up not going to work as toddler got up with temp of 40 and very miserable so couldnt send to childminder.

However after a 20 mins of cbeebies while i set cover for my clases he has now perked up quite a lot ( thank you calpol!!) but suspect he will go downhill again when it wears off.
