Excellent news Rufus and Memphis (love that film!) hang in there little bean!

eggsnbeans · 18/06/2015 08:57

Hi Mumo great to see you over here too Grin I saw you finally got your BFP Grin Grin Grin

Oh and I also have a 13m old!!! Seems to be a common theme here Wink

Ladies that need to get out of drinking, could you get away with the excuse that you have to drive home? That's mine whenever I don't want to drink (I'm such a lightweight I can't drink at all and drive safely anyway!) whether I'm pregnant or not!

def up for FB group, but maybe will leave it until after 12w scan just in case I do know anyone in here! Blush

So glad I'm not the only one with a huge stomach already! DH is already asking how I'm planning on not telling anyone for another month! I feel gigantic, and gets so much worse in the afternoon Blush

Awesome news Rufus so reassuring to see that HB Grin

Shock at possible 3 under 18m Memphis that would be totally crazy! DH's aunty had 6 under 5 (2 sets of twins), with 3 under 14m too! shudders at the thought

haquoi123 · 18/06/2015 09:08

How is everyone feeling this morning? The ms has released me from its grip ish - just feeling mildly nauseous rather then the constant 'going to vom' feeling. I was fairly on the verge of making myself yesterday in the hope that getting it over with might help but didn't have the guts (pun not intended). Another half day off (benefits of being self employed with not much work (apart from that admin I'm avoiding)) so treating it as a sick day. Being flat on my back seems to help so that's my aim for today!

rallytog1 · 18/06/2015 09:10

Eep memphis! Hope next scan brings good news. If it helps, I was one of 3 under 18 months (my mum had twins when I was 1) and we had a fantastic childhood. My mum and dad even stayed relatively sane.

Is anyone else feeling their belly pop out already? I know it shouldn't happen yet, but my lower belly has been round and rock hard for the last few days, with lots of what feels like round ligament pain. Don't think it's wind/digestion as everything seems ok in that department.

NoMontagues · 18/06/2015 09:15

Raffertys I feel for you with the 13 hour days. I used to work a 60 hr week and it was tough. And I wasn't pregnant at the time.

Had to have an emergency ginger nut earlier because I nearly threw up at the thought of what I was going to give DS for lunch. I'm not looking forward to the actual giving of the lunch.

Anyone else finding it hard to brush their teeth without gagging?

Oh memphis that's so exciting. Fx for both those little beans.

jellypi3 · 18/06/2015 09:18

rally I'm sure my belly is rounder certainly not the chocolate biccy's I'm stuffing my face with but it's worse in the evening after dinner so assume it's bloating at this stage (I've read you don't show until about 16 weeks).

Booking appointment tomorrow! I'm really excited. Although whoever said the early scan only reassures you for 72 hours was so right. I'm already wishing I had another one booked this week to see if it's all ok. Luckily I've only got 2 and half weeks until my next scan and then only 2 weeks after that for my 12 week scan!

haquoi123 · 18/06/2015 09:26

montagues, another toothbrush gagger right here!!

Bosabosa · 18/06/2015 09:30

My stomach is sticking out and I am only about 5 weeks! DH thinks I am pushing it out so my mum asks me outright ( we have a deal that if mum asks, I can tell!!)

Lillymmog-i have explosive stomach too-not every day-but almost!! it is my main symptom.

Think my sticking out stomach and explosions are probably related ;;-)

AbFab86 · 18/06/2015 10:01

Rufus that's fantastic news, so pleased for you Grin

Carltonlives · 18/06/2015 10:26

6 weeks today! Yay!

So, I've put on 3lb in a week. This can't be good right?!

Hope everyone's well Smile

clarabellski · 18/06/2015 10:34

Congratulations rufus Flowers

MayFlowers16 · 18/06/2015 11:44

Morning everyone Smile

purdiepie · 18/06/2015 11:51

Brummie, thanks and yes, the Cyclizine works, although it makes me even more tired than usual and a bit spaced out. I'm ashamed to say I've been off work since Monday and largely sleeping. My baby had me up thrice in the night, too, culminating in actually getting up at 5.30am. What the hell have I done...

purdiepie · 18/06/2015 11:52

Yes! Welcome eggs!

Bluenewbie · 18/06/2015 11:55

Good morning ladies !

Memphis such great news, nerve wrecking but so exciting! FX for the small one. Stick on Bean! :)

Flowers for all ladies feeling sick. I've been lucky so far and only had moments when I couldn't stand smell or taste of our regular food. no nausea as yet though (I don't wish it to come).

My lower belly was sticking out since BFP. then went flatter. Now it shows on and off. I think it's our relaxed muscles not bothering to keep the belly in check, when bloated, full etc.

My DP is getting impatient about my lack of libido..

Bluenewbie · 18/06/2015 11:55

welcome and congrats Bosa! Flowers

MayFlowers16 · 18/06/2015 11:58

That's three of us off work today Purdie (me, you and Mars). Do your work know? I've told my two bosses so they don't think I'm just skiving. Gold to here the medication is working for you. It's hard when there's a toddler to entertain too though isn't it? Thanks I have been prescribed something that dissolves on your gums but the pharmacist warned me that it tastes awful so I haven't been brave enough to try it yet Confused

Bluenewbie · 18/06/2015 11:59

I've been up most of the night as the Colleges had the final Balls and there was live, loud music all night long!!! is it even legal?? If I had a party that the whole city could hear, surely the police would finish it shortly..

Angry
purdiepie · 18/06/2015 12:21

Blue, do you live in Cambridge or summat

May, yes, work knows. There was no denying it when I threw up in the staff canteen and then several times in the bogs on consecutive days Hmm

Marsaday · 18/06/2015 12:22

Does anyone else NOT have bigger or sore boobs? Mine are still perfectly normal. They did get sore in last pg but i can't remember when. Should i be worriedConfused

Bluenewbie · 18/06/2015 12:26

I do live in Cambridge. I'm just surprised that all night, live, loud music is allowed during the week or at any point really. Confused Haven't seen any festival in the city ending later than midnight and that was usually on weekend.
My DP was awake until they finished (at daylight!!) Angry

Bluenewbie · 18/06/2015 12:27

Mars I had bigger boobs when I found out. Now they kind of shrunk a bit, although feel fuller. not that sore either. only if you squeeze it or accidentally bump it.

raviolig · 18/06/2015 12:28

Good afternoon everyone!
Tried to catch up but my baby brain (or not sleeping for 3 1/2 years brain) has me forgetting half of what I read!
Does anyone else feel really uncomfortable under their ribs? Basically I feel a lot more pregnant like when baby is higher up and putting pressure on your ribs. If I sit with my knees up I feel really uncomfortable, I just feel like I need to stretch out all the time. I am tall and don't tend to have a big bump ever so it is strange.
I am very dizzy too, but I had that when I was pregnant with ds. My nausea is on and off but not bad at all.
I was a bit worried last night because I had a really bad pain in my right side at the front. I couldn't sleep because it hurt so much. It has eased off now but still not good.
I thought Having a third things would be so much more easy going this time!

twinsandapenguin · 18/06/2015 12:49

Raviolig- yes! I have rib pain on and off on the right side. Just like what you get in later pregnancy. I had it worse when I was pregnant with ds, from about 7weeks. I went to the GP to check it wasn't a problem with my liver or something. It wasn't. My theory is it is hormones, relaxin etc, getting to work early.
It is pretty annoying thoigh
