Oh Teddy, so sorry to be saying goodbye to you. Fingers tightly crossed for you next cycle. Be kind to yourself. Flowers

WouldRatherHaveCake · 24/06/2015 15:16

So sorry teddy

PurdiePipesUp · 24/06/2015 15:32

I am really dreadfully for the losses on here and my heart goes out to you...

I hope it's not inappropriate to report my delight at this morning's heartbeat at 8+3.

monkerina · 24/06/2015 15:35

Lily and Teddy, so sorry to hear your news. Be kind to yourselves.

Purdie, congrats!! Grin

RhiPea · 24/06/2015 16:17

cake my GP receptionist told me I didn't need to see a GP, just fill out some basic detail forms for the midwives. She called me back the next day and arranged for my booking appt for when I'm 8weeks. I was 4 weeks at the time and she thanked me for doing it early so we had plenty of time to fit the booking in before a scan

SweetCharlotteRose · 24/06/2015 16:18

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. I have been thinking a lot of those people who aren't having such happy times.

Purdie that is excellent news.

I had my scan on Monday and they put me at 6+6 (I know I was 7 weeks exactly) so more or less right and there was a heartbeat so everything was as ok as it can be at such an early point. I couldn't believe there was anything there. I need to invest in some scanning equipment for my house! I'm not even joking!
Still haven't contacted the midwife or diabetes team, it still feels too uncertain. I'm 7+2 today though so I suppose if I'm still pregnant in a week or so I probably should.

MayFlowers16 · 24/06/2015 16:28

Sorry for being absent over the last few days. We are on holiday atm so haven't been online much.

It's been a very sad week for some. I really am genuinely sorry. I know from personal experience just how painful miscarriage is and I feel for you all right now. Thanks

Purdie I'm really glad your scan went well. I'm 8+3 too, haven't yet decided whether or not to have an early scan though. I have plenty of horrible reassuring symptoms so may just wait it out.

I'm struggling to fit into the clothes I have packed. I look about 5 months pregnant by the afternoon Confused Dreading getting back home and finding out that my work clothes no longer fit!

Hi to everyone else, I hope you're all doing well and not feeling too poorly.

rallytog1 · 24/06/2015 16:30

Great news purdie and charlotte.

charlotte I really would try to get booked in with the midwife sooner rather than later if I were you. They can get quite booked up, and you don't want to end up with a late booking appointment or NHS scan. You've got a heartbeat which is bloody fantastic and a really good sign, so I really think you need to accept that you are having a baby now Smile

WouldRatherHaveCake · 24/06/2015 16:41

Thanks everyone, might pick up.the pack in the morning then so I can phone up

Lamaitresse · 24/06/2015 16:50

Haven't been on for a while as spent almost two weeks in hospital because I couldn't keep anything down. I'm afraid we haven't had a happy outcome - I wonder if I was just too poorly. Although we are obviously sad I will be spending the summer immersing myself in the children I do have, whilst trying to gain a bit of strength back. I lost 9kg in three weeks so am very weak.
Flowers to anyone else going through a loss at the moment.

I do have to say that purdie and charlotte your news has made me smile, which is amazing in itself. Long may your little beans carry on growing strong and healthy, and best wishes for all your pregnancies.

RattyCatty · 24/06/2015 16:50

lily and teddy thinking of you and others who are worrying / facing difficult times Flowers Flowers

purdie and charlotte that's great about the heartbeats, fingers crossed all carries on well

Stepawayfromthezebras · 24/06/2015 16:50

Purdie and Charlotte so good to hear your happy news that your little miracles have heartbeats Smile

I'd agree with rally about booking in sooner rather than later, I thought I may have jumped the gun when I got in touch at 5 weeks but my booking appointment's not till 10 weeks and my scan's at 12+4

AbFab86 · 24/06/2015 16:51

That's great purdie! Name change?

I got my hcg result from yesterday. In a week it has risen from 1,400 to over 14,000! Very chuffed. Got one more tomorrow to see if it has risen in 48hrs, but I'm feeling pretty confident. Much happier than yesterday Smile

AbFab86 · 24/06/2015 16:54

Chintaria so sorry to hear your news. I hope you start to feel better now and can have a summer of good health

WouldRatherHaveCake · 24/06/2015 16:54

Stepawayfromthezebras · 24/06/2015 16:57

Chin so sorry to hear your sad news

rallytog1 · 24/06/2015 16:59

I'm so sorry chin. Hope the summer is a time of healing and you get all the support you need Thanks

Purdiepipesup · 24/06/2015 17:23

Oh Chin, no Sad You have suffered so much and I am shocked at your weight loss. How gracious of you to be happy for me and others. Thank you. I hope you find peace and are healed very soon Thanks

Thanks to all of you who have been so happy for me. The stats for us oldies are pretty depressing and so I am spectacularly surprised and grateful. You know my daughter was conceived via donor egg after a blighted ovum at 40 left me virtually infertile? And that I only have one fallopian tube? Well...today I asked the consultant to tell me from which side I ovulated. She said it was from the left side...which is the side where my tube is blocked. This means my 'good' tube swung over to catch the egg! I am praising God Smile

Charlotte, you incorrigible tart! I knew it! Well done, missus. I know it's early days but you clearly cannot be trusted with your instincts so we will keep reminding you how wrong you have been all along Smile

Babybrain153 · 24/06/2015 17:28

Hi can I join too??
Got my BFP few days ago after couple days of sickness but not sure how far I am??
I was had MC feb this year at 11 weeks, was first on April 26th for 6 days, had another may 18th which lasted 3 days and another bleed 8th this month which lasted just over day.. Only took test because of sickness n constantly needing to sleep ..

MemphisBella · 24/06/2015 17:31

Sending kind thoughts to all those who have had bad news.

After some very heavy bleeding/clotting, my little Bean2 is not to be. There's just a pool of blood where the sac was.

Bean1 has a lovely strong heartbeat though, which is a good sign. Had my booking in today, and the MW said it's really common for this to happen. I'd just like the bleeding to stop now though, as I practically hyperventilate every time I go to the loo and see the blood.

Still, today I am pregnant.

Next scan 3rd July to check progress and measure the pool of blood to see if it's getting smaller. FX it is, because I'm supposed to be going on holiday the day after.

Hugs to everyone feeling worried; from experience, early pregnancy is the worst part. Roll on 12 weeks.

IslaMann · 24/06/2015 18:00

So sorry Chin Thanks

WouldRatherHaveCake · 24/06/2015 18:04

Also congrats to purdie and charlotte. purdie have they brought your dates forward? That's amazing that the other tube caught the egg. Miracle bean!!

My next scan in is 13 days. I'll be 10+3 and the place doing it do a 3D one so fingers crossed I'll see a wee baby!

RattyCatty · 24/06/2015 18:34

chin I'm so sorry - I didn't see your message when I posted. Flowers thinking of you lots.

mem that's very sad about bean 2 but very positive about bean 1! I hope the bleeding stops for you soon.
