Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

blue it's all so different for everyone. My previous pregnancy was text book, low risk, very little bleeding (a couple of scares, but were fine) and then it all suddenly went wrong at a time when it shouldn't have. I think you have to go with your instinct. This time I'm similar to you, I've been brown spotting for over two weeks now, although no clots. Whether that's good or not I don't know. I hope you're OK. Sorry for the useless post.

Had to cancel yet more work due to ms. Just can't stand up, I feel so dizzy! Times like these I wish I had sick pay. That's £95 down the drain over two days. Don't know what to do, really worrying. DH can't support both of us and if I don't work I'll lose the students for the future. Only just built it back up again since ds died.

Pah, can you tell I need cheering up?!

NoMontagues · 19/06/2015 16:03

No shout out from blue made me realise I had the wrong dates on the spreadsheet, I'm 8 weeks today too. I've changed it now.

I've added my symptoms too.

GoulashSoup · 19/06/2015 16:18

Congratulations on reaching 8 weeks Montagues Smile.

Blue I have had some clots about the size of a two pence piece but definitely no tissue. My second HCG reading has increased but not enough so got a scan tomorrow morning.

haquoi hope you begin to feel up to working soon Flowers.

Stepawayfromthezebras · 19/06/2015 16:23

Flowers to everyone having worrying times.
My first appt today was brief but it's all feeling a bit real now! I've got a load of forms to fill in before my booking in appointment, have had blood taken and the midwife is booking an appointment for me to get my cervix checked as I had a cone biopsy a few years ago and they need to check alls now ok

SweetCharlotteRose · 19/06/2015 16:28

Hi everyone
This thread moves so quickly, I've just tried to catch up a bit!

Flowers for everyone experimenting spotting and having scary times. There seem to be a few people experiencing similar things.

Also quite a few people feeling and being sick now. I am also feeling and occasionally being sick and I'm very pleased about it.

Congratulations to all new bfps and those who have had early scans.

I had a repeat hcg test taken on Wednesday and it had gone from 4000 to 44000 in a week which gives me a doubling time of around 50 hours apparently. The gp seemed to think this ok. I'm still not feeling confident to book in with a midwife or tell my diabetes team though. I have an early scan on Monday when I will go 7 weeks but I don't know whether to move it back. It will be an internal scan and I'm scared it'll cause bleeding (or worse). I know this is silly but this pregnancy just feels so fragile.

Thanks goulash Smile

charlotte nice to hear your update. Being sick sounds very positive.

GoulashSoup · 19/06/2015 17:00

Charlotte glad you are feeling sick and that it is reassuring you a bit. Your hCG increase sounds reassuring too. I hope Monday gives you the confidence in the pregnancy you need to book in with the mw.

bopoityboo3 · 19/06/2015 17:47

Evening ladies, those are some lovely scan pics people have got going on there. Lily really hoping everything is okay for you. Flowers

Raffertys · 19/06/2015 18:01

Fingers crossed for you lily Flowers

Charlotte it's nice to hear you sounding so much more positive.

Whoever was talking about Topshop Leigh jeans earlier in the thread, I've never had any problem getting hold of them. They're always in stock on their website and they have loads in their bigger stores. You can search for stock near to you on the website. I'm eps earring mine now; bloody love them. Very comfy and flattering.

CatnipMouse · 19/06/2015 18:03

Charlotte the internal scan will not cause bleeding. The ultrasound wand thingy looks v long but it only goes about an inch into your vagina. Honestly it is fine. It won't get anywhere near your cervix and the ultrasound waves themselves are harmless.

SmashleyHop · 19/06/2015 18:09

Fx for all the ladies having spotting and bleeding. Here's hoping everything sticks.

Lovely scan photos. Can't wait to get our first photo of the bean.

Starting to feel a bit sick now. Like I've just stepped off a spinning ride. All I could even think about eating for dinner was peanut butter toast.

Does anyone have any suggestions on maternity leggings? I've got plenty of jeans from my last pregnancy but was hoping to find some nice thick leggings for when my belly starts to pop.

GoulashSoup · 19/06/2015 18:13

Oh no Lily, I hope you can keep your mind occupied this weekend Flowers.

Welcome Ghost, congratulations on your little rice grain.

Blue, thanks. I have had a look at that and my levels are way above the average. They were 115752 at 7+4 and 123772 at 7+6. I know they may be begining to plateau by now but I had hoped for a bit more of a difference, it is only about 14%. My gut feeling is still that everything is fine, but with continued spotting some of which is red, abdominal pain, the shits and the lack of increase between the two readings I would be happier knowing for sure. Have now come up with heterotopic pregnancy and appendicitis as possibilities. Must step away from Google!

Bluenewbie · 19/06/2015 18:27

Goulash for me your results look promising. They are on a high end (or above) but they are rising properly as per table. they will not rise much now. Maybe your dates are wrong and you're further than you think or maybe there are 2 sticky beans there!! Smile

I don't know what are those 2 abnormalities, but my MW excluded ectopic given my results (also not doubling).
Google is an evil! make sure you stay away from it!! Angry

Rose85 · 19/06/2015 18:51

Fx for you Lilly and your little bean Thanks

Brummiegirl15 · 19/06/2015 18:52
