Hi loveulots I also have Factor V Leiden and protein c deficiency so have been on daily heparin injections in my last and this pregnancy. I also take 75mg aspirin daily.

Pugmumlondon · 21/06/2015 10:50

Ps. blackandwhite just read your post which has made me feel lots better. I know I should be embracing feeling better rather than getting worried!

crumble74 · 21/06/2015 10:52

Hey pug I was thinking the same this morning. Luckily my next scan is tomorrow afternoon - I totalky feel like I'm making this pregnancy up, despite the fact I had a good scan with heartbeat at 8 weeks!

Blackandwhitecat3 · 21/06/2015 10:54

Pug, you've come to the right place. Mind if I start?

  1. nausea comes and goes and is different for every woman and even every pregnancy. I had some breaks in my nausea before it ramped up for my lovely weeks 9 and 10 that you have heard far too much about.

  2. you don't mention any cramping or spotting

  3. you have a wonderful cocktail of hormones washing around your veins, all of which are destined to make you feel over anxious.

  4. you had a heartbeat at your early scan which immediately put your mc risk down to 2%, and you are now further on from that with no bleeding?

Some women have no nausea at all in preg, just because yours has stopped doesn't mean anything. Yes, there is a chance of mmc, but it's extremely small and everything is most probably fine.

But I'm still sending you a big hug Brew

Oysterbabe · 21/06/2015 10:55

Pug I feel like that all the time. Except I haven't had an early scan so think that maybe there's nothing there and never has been. My symptoms have been minimal throughout, sore boobs and nausea but no sickness.
I'm 8 weeks today so halfway through the 8ww. We'll get there.

Blackandwhitecat3 · 21/06/2015 10:58

Ahh Pug, we are destined to cross-post. Glad something helped.

I have so much positivity this morning, happy to share it around Smile do let me know if I start getting annoying

crumble74 · 21/06/2015 10:58

Nice post b&wcat, all true.

Hi to all newbies and sorry to hear a lot of you are worried.

I would second calling 111 if you have fresh bleeding.

fishermanswife1 · 21/06/2015 10:58

P.s. hi newbies!

Know exactly what you mean pug. Got my 12 week scan on Tuesday and keep thinking, what if bean isn't there anymore! Apart from feeling quite tied and runners nipples, I've been feeling loads better this last week. But know really th st I need to be grateful for that rather than worry. But it's tough.

I've not had an early scan so it'll be the first time I've seen anything, so there's even a bit of "what if I've got this all wrong and there's nothing there?". Which is just daft.

fishermanswife1 · 21/06/2015 11:02

Wow! Busy board this morning ladies! Ignore me being hormonal and sloppy naff, but its lovely seeing so many people being so actively supportive and offering such useful advice.

lil let us know how you get on. What did you decide? Sounded like calling 111 for out of hours doc was a good option. Fx all fine with you today

Pugmumlondon · 21/06/2015 11:06

Thank you all so much - that's made me feel tons better. No - no bleeding, some brown spotting that was continuing but was told that was fine but that's gone now too - I'm hoping it's just hormones settling down.

It's just hell these first few weeks - anxiety through the roof! 3w to the 12w mark though and

melonface · 21/06/2015 11:09

pug we can hold hands, I'll be 9 weeks on Wednesday and despite also seeing a heartbeat at 7 weeks I'm so anxious. For both of us theres no sign that anything is wrong so fingers crossed.

Any ladies with spotting or bleeding, please get it checked out at EPU. In my experience they are lovely and supportive and I've never been made to feel like I was wasting there time. I was seen on a sunday if that helps.

Me, DH (and baby!) are off to glastonbury on Tuesday. Will be interesting! Especially trying to keep it secret from 12 friends!

ValancyJane · 21/06/2015 11:11

Pug I posted saying similar yesterday - I think we're very much in the same boat, I'm 9 weeks today and feeling great again with lots of energy and no sickness (tiny bit of nausea this morning but that's gone now). Am so paranoid something's gone wrong, but I know symptoms do come and go so I'm trying not to stress too much - after all, what will be will be and there's not much we can do about it really. Wanted you to know it's not just you though!!!

My 12 week scan is 3 & 1/2 weeks away, that feels so long today!!

Juniper44 · 21/06/2015 11:16

Lil some EPUs are walk in, but you'd need to check on their website. I don't think many are open at the weekend, though, and as far as I know most A&Es won't do scans but will refer you to EPU.

I hope you get to see someone asap and that everything's ok. Have you noticed any pattern to the bleeding? Is it after you've been exercising / active?

I think the first trimester is by far the most stressful! One you can feel the baby moving, it's so much more reassuring! Although DD had a bloody strong kick and I used to be able to see her toes through my skin! Ack.

Pugmumlondon · 21/06/2015 11:22

Ah melon and valancy I'm so glad it's not just me. Let's all try to stay positive for the next few weeks.

On a plus note, I just had leftover lasagne as breakfast part 2. I'm disgusting. So shameful, but I'm just so hungry! I know I should go for a run as feeling much better today but I feel weirdly anxious about Doing something intensive and don't know where I should be pacing myself to heartbeat wise etc so may just wait to talk to midwife and use daily dog walks as exercise! And try not to eat lasagne for breakfast too often Blush

Lookingforadvice123 · 21/06/2015 11:22

pug you're not alone and I don't think the anxiety actually improves you just move on to the next thing! My 12 week scan is Thursday and my new obsession since we had our last positive scan at 10+3 is the downs screening. Poor dh is getting so bored of my worrying but I can't help it! If the screening is all fine I'm sure I will move on to the next thing to worry about.

When's your next scan? Try to focus on that, and also I know it's a cliche but try and keep busy! Time does go quicker and your mind is kept active elsewhere rather than googling constantly.

TeenieDeenie · 21/06/2015 11:26

Morning all! Sorry to all the ladies that are struggling with sickness and/or spotting.

I've had a night of it. Was at an outdoor engagement party last night with OH, it was freezing(!) but obviously as most folk were drunk they didn't notice. Felt very shivery when I got home so I went to bed with pjs, thick socks and a fleecy jumper over the top as I couldn't get warm. I must have fallen asleep as I woke up at about 3am with terrible cramping. I dashed to the loo and had a tiny bit of brown blood when I wiped. Seen this on the paper and panic rushed through me. I then vomited followed by diahorrea. Cramped and achy for the rest of the night but got up at 5am to take paracetamol and managed to get a little rest from there. Haven't had any more brown since so am just hoping that maybe I've just had a bit of a chill and the cramps are just things stretching a bit and that's why I've had a little brown aswell. The sickness and diahorrea was just due to the panic I think. Very very anxious today. OH is being very sweet and saying we just seen baby a few days ago and everything was ok. Worrying not helping. Try to relax, it's probably just things getting bigger etc. These weeks are so difficult aren't they...

Blackandwhitecat3 · 21/06/2015 11:29

Oh Teenie look after yourself. Fx for you and hope you feel better soon

MissMartin10 · 21/06/2015 11:42

lilduck fx your okay xx

MissMartin10 · 21/06/2015 11:44

aww teenie put your feet up and have a rest today Smile

TeenieDeenie · 21/06/2015 11:56

Thanks ladies! The reassurance from my early scan has disappeared I'm afraid and knicker check is most definitely back with avengance. A very chilled day for me planned, keeping cosy and relaxing.

Glad to hear things have settled for you today Miss. x

ValancyJane · 21/06/2015 11:57

Pug I see your leftover lasagne and raise you leftover curry for breakfast Blush

Teenie Bless you, that sounds like an awful night. Sounds like it could have been a tummy bug to me, I hope you feel better soon. I think you need a relaxing Sunday on the sofa watching trashy TV!!

SleepyDragon · 21/06/2015 11:57

Looking think I'll be avoiding them from now on too!!

Fish I keep thinking that, we've another 2 weeks to wait for our 12week scan and I'm already wondering 'what if', I so want a little jellybean to be there!

crumble74 · 21/06/2015 12:04

Teenie What a horrible night, poor you! I hope you have lots of rest today and feel better soon.

brickiemum2 · 21/06/2015 12:37

pug can you not have the nuchal thing after 12+6? My 12 week scan is at 12+6 by my lmp date but my ovulation date would make me 13+2 by then (I've had a few scans so far and they are agreeing with ovulation gestation not lmp gestation)

brickiemum2 · 21/06/2015 12:38

Pressed post too soon sorry.....
No one's mentioned to me that there is a cut off as obviously quite a few people will be put forward at their scan. Makes it odd that they do it in the latest day possible?
Doesn't actually apply to me anyway as I've declined all those tests but I'm curious nosy
