Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

Mine is the Kevlar beaver......had another episode of pain waves after tea. Has anything come of it? Has it bollocks.

I've made plans and booked facial for next week. I dare this child to turn up.

Pisghetti · 02/06/2015 23:55

What sort of info are you looking for Gouda? Kellymom and the leaky boob are often recommended sources of information.

Fuuuuuck I used Zovirax all the way through - didn't even think twice! Despite using it like lip balm I still managed to get one a few days before she came so I couldn't even kiss her for about a week Sad bastard virus Angry Mind you an antibiotic cream will be completely pointless Hmm

Sorry about your nan Rhi x x

Awful lot of fanjo talk today..... Snow White and the Seven Beavers - Gnashy (with extra teeth), Widey (9" wonder fanny) , Snoozy (the sleepy beaver), Phlegmy (exciting plug times), Dribbler (mercy shag aftermath), Soggy (the pregnancy staple) and FuckOff (Tee's aggressive bulletproof fanny)

I'm sure your genitals are actually a delight Tee but Kevlar and barbed wire makes it sound like it'd be played by Vin Diesel in 'JSers the movie'. Aaaand now I'm feeling even more awkward than when I asked the health visitor to look at my nipples and she gave me this face Shock

PixieChops · 03/06/2015 04:02

Lmao Pis!

Rhi that sounds lovely, I'm sure she will still be taking things in so chat away to her. I never got to tell grandad that his great grandson will be having his name as his middle
name. Wish I'd gotten the chance.
The fact that he'll never meet great grandson is harder though, he adored his great granddaughter (my DD) and she loved him.

I'm awake at a ridiculous hour, I'm shattered but can't sleep, got a bit of a headache, aching all over and I'm
sure I lost a bit of my plug in the bath before Confused. I'm worried this baby is going to come early but I don't know the likelihood of that happening as DD was 5 days late.
DP is off out on the piss this weekend which always worries me a bit. He's super tall and sometimes people will try and pick fights with him for no reason other than that fact Hmm kind of wish he wasn't going but he rarely goes out (only twice this year so far) and he deserves a break.

PixieChops · 03/06/2015 04:04

Tee no doubt now you've booked yourself a facial miniTee will arrive! It's Sod's law! I just want someone to massage my back, that is all I want in the world right now. That and an eclair.

teejayem · 03/06/2015 05:17

pis I am laying in bed silently shaking with laughter. Grin

Sorry you're awake pix - I've also run out of eclairs Sad and can't sleep! Although last night hasn't been as bad, only three wake ups... I put a maternity pad thing on my side of the bed in case waters explode but the fucking thing is making me sweat through the sheet and the regular mattress cover. In fact I have been really hot in bed (oh ho ho) the last few nights. Bet that conjours some sweaty Vin diesel images there...Blush

Facial - yeah I thought I'd just try and invoke some more Sod's law. Have arranged for a friend to come over on Monday now too and she's a good 1.5hrs away. Mr Tee thinks Friday. This week is dragging terribly... Although looking outside at least it isn't blowing a frigging gale anymore. My poor hanging baskets have been through the mill!

Must go and restock Vin diesel fanny's hand grenade supply..

WilHarlot · 03/06/2015 06:09

Grin Pis.

I've been awake since 3. Insomnia after night feeds is shitballs. I'd maim and kill for eclairs right now.

DulcetMoans · 03/06/2015 06:18

Are we making a film? Great stuff! Will put 50 shades to shame. Who will play us?! I'm particularly fond of Toni Collette but not sure this is for her. Need some sexy but cheap filth-pots on board to show the true glamour of JSing through to pregnancy!

I can't believe no babies have come, so sorry viroids! There must be something soon though, surely!!

LaLaLaaaa · 03/06/2015 06:39

Hi all

So sorry but catching up is impossible as you've been nattering away so hard!

Rhi I'm so sorry to hear about your gran - i hope it's some comfort that you get to see her.

Ladies wot are waiting to pop - I know it must feel endless :(. Go for walks, hug people, get buzzy friend out. Just been learning all about oxytocin bringing on labour at nct.

Dulcet - every time you start to spiral sit down and write it down, with the potential end result and what you can do about it, that's what I have to do. I'm stressing about money at the moment. We've had to dip into our house deposit savings for the baby.

I feel rubbish this week. Got a sort of hovering cold that hasn't manifested properly so I'm well enough to go to work in theory but feel shite. Our office is boiling hot and I'm so uncomfortable. Very breathless where bra digs into top of bump when sitting at desk. Envy anyone who finishes at 34 weeks! I'm 34+1 and got 2 weeks to go at work.

My friend at exercise class had her baby yesterday. She was so huge everyone was sure she'd go early but she was a week and a half over. Just shows size is no indicator! My sis in law in America is due tomorrow so I'm hopefully going to be an auntie soon! They only let them go 11 days over in America apparently.

Nfma - not much going on! Epic massive poos of pain every couple of days! Sorry to those with arse rain but same time I am envious!

Midwife yesterday - baby is measuring bang on. She listened to hb for ages which made me worry a bit but them said 'well he's clearly quite happy in there!'

Still can't decide about strep test :(. So confused. Girl in my nct class tested positive for it at 32 weeks so is having antibiotics in labour.

Perhaps I'll just bite bullet and test. How many of you have had test done? I know chat said they do it as standard in Belgium.

Busy week this week - work bake off tomorrow so I made tiger cupcakes (has to be animal theme!)

Tonight I'm having fanjo waxed then exercise class. Tomorrow my DM arrives for 4 days, woo! Mr La has his big competition final on thurs so he heads off tomorrow to London. I'm so excited for him, he's worked so hard! I can't go coz it'll be too busy and I'm too preggers.

Fri we are going to see take that - woo!

Saturday is nct bf class then my friends birthday party. Sunday im going baby shopping with my DM.

Busy!

Working from home today so will catch up with your news! Loving the scan pictures from everyone!

Speaking of beavers... There is a town in NZ called Beaver and there is an alcohol company based there. They were quite a big company so we would regularly see lorries driving about with 'Beaver Liquor' written on the side in massive letters! Lol, got to love the kiwi sense of hu

Hobbit19 · 03/06/2015 06:44

Humour!

LaLaLaaaa · 03/06/2015 06:50

Sleepy beaver? Fangy fanjo? Wtf?

Mine is definitely the elusive beaver. Can't see it anymore. I presume it's still there so I'm booked in to get it waxed tonight. Least then I know it's attractive!

My norks are like melons and have wee lumps like bee stings around the nipples.

Tee LOS officially invoked! Hopefully your facial booking works!

Beaver liquor? What about beaver essence Grin that'd upset the mn pearl clutchers!

Wouldn't it be funny if u all went into labour at once? Fresh isn't too far behind you all either - god the list is flying by!

Oh and maternity gear:

Definitely asos mat leggings 2 pairs for about £15
New look skinny jeans have done me all the way through
Mamalicious dresses from asos
Baggy tops and vest tops

I've run out of stuff that fits now so really struggling. Wearing same pair of massive trousers everyday. They fall down so someone's going to get a glimpse of my bum at some point

I was in Mat gear from 11 weeks maybe before. I showed at 9 weeks

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 03/06/2015 07:16

Due date. Still preggers :) Symptoms are... oh, I can't be arsed!

Pis I laughed so much at Snow White, thank you.

Purpleball · 03/06/2015 07:25

Morning viroids. Snow White made me laugh Grin

Hope we get some babies today but not from Pixie

WilHarlot · 03/06/2015 07:51

Due date babies are the best Before. Am sure yours will decide to make an entrance today. Squeeze it out and be home in time for dinner Wink .

Pixie my first was induction at two weeks over and second was bang on time. I think there's no correlation. Get yourself ready girl!

I have missed the dilemma about strep test La. I never had it as knew nothing about it. My friend somehow found out she had it though and needed the antibiotics. Are there risk factors which make you think you have it or is it a financial consideration? (Sorry if these are stupid questions, I don't know anything about it).

rm00054 · 03/06/2015 07:59

Hi Viroids.
I've been away on holiday the last fortnight but I'm back and now on Mat leave so can hopefully keep up with the Fred!

Lots has happened since I've last been on, sorry I can't catch up with it all.

Happy due date Before. I'm enjoying baby-watch. gx things get a move on for all of you who are waiting. I know I'm getting very fed up of being fat and uncomfortable now and I'm not quite 37w yet, can't imagine another 3 (or 5 - eek!) weeks of this Sad

goodnessgraciousgouda · 03/06/2015 08:00

ghetti - thanks for the link ideas, I'll check them out. Basically I'm just after some basic and realistic info about getting started with breastfeeding, which doesn't have any weird moralistic or passive aggressive undertones. I'm also very wary of anything which says "if it hurts you're doing it wrong!" as I've seen too many people say that this is total bollocks.

Ideally I would like to breastfeed because I am too lazy to arse around with formula, and its free food. However, my mum never breast fed, I only know a couple of close friends with children but they live back in the UK, and there isn't much hospital guidance on it over here. There is la leche league or whatever, but I don't know how helpful that would be when I am sleep deprived and can barely string a sentence together in english, let alone french.

DulcetMoans · 03/06/2015 08:05

Been awake for hours so decided to come into work. It's nice and quiet at this time of day at least. It was the work 'to do' list that has freaked me out la. I drew up a list of all my projects, what I would do and what would need handing over and it was overwhelming. It's all falling apart now anyway as one of my contacts for three projects has been signed off for two weeks and my cover starts next week announced he needs two weeks of in August over my busiest period for a business critical project. I just feel so guilty for being pregnant and not sure when that will stop!

With the strep test thing la, just do it if you are in doubt. You'll only think about it if not and there is no harm checking.

I have breast feeding session with NCT today gouda, if you want me to ask anything?

Happy due date before! Positive birthing thoughts!

Welcome back rm! It's all going off here, there will be babies soon, there will!

goodnessgraciousgouda · 03/06/2015 08:16

Thanks Dulcet - one of the things I never understood is how you feed the baby until your milk comes in. I know you are supposed to produce colostrum, but is that it? Or do you have to supplement with water? Don't they get thirsty?!

jellypi3 · 03/06/2015 08:20

Ahh Snow White Grin pis that made me belly laugh!

Had a terrible nights sleep last night with agony boobs, honestly I thought they used to hurt when Twotting.

la I admire your energy at that stage to do all that! I've got a really hectic weekend and don't think I'll make it with my current rate of sleeping by 9:00pm.

Caught up on GoT last night. Was a good ep.

before, tee, cym get them there babies out!!

DulcetMoans · 03/06/2015 08:30

No worries gouda, that's a good question. We looked at it a little bit yesterday - a new born babies tummy is only the size of a small marble so they don't need much but I will ask.

Jcandy · 03/06/2015 08:37

Haha jelly yeah the skittletits are something else in pregnancy aren't they. Mine feel much better now I've bought maternity bras.

My cold sores are huge Sad the crappy cream I'm putting on every hour is making no difference. Good job I'm not in work today so I can just hide Sad

On the app so I'm sorry that I can't remember a lot. Rhi I hope you get some time with your nan. It does sound like she's comfortable.

Come on babies!

mountaingirl01 · 03/06/2015 08:59

Hi all, sorry for the bad catch up, but you guys sure can talk!

Sorry to hear about your gran rhi no matter how nice you make it, death is always hard Flowers

A pharmacist gave an anti bacterial for a virus Shock report her! That is shocking. Plus zovirax is fine in pregnancy (I just double checked the bnf as well).

I was in mat trousers from pretty early on. I just found it more comfortable! I'm only just branching out into mat tops though. And as a consequence having the whole world ltelling me I'm not huge which is really freaking me out (you might get a bumpie later for your opinion). I found h&m the best as they are the only shop I could find that stock it in store! Online is annoying me at the moment because I cannot get a pair of black skinnies left in my size.

Viroids, dh and I booked a holiday last night - I will be 30/31weeks... Am I mad? (Lake como)

Hoping things get moving for all you uncomfortable viroids today!

mountaingirl01 · 03/06/2015 09:03

PS non mumsnetty hugs dulcet please don't let the bastards get you down says the woman that left work early on Monday and came home to hide in a den eating a 'sharing' pack of skittles remember ... Your baby is the most important thing in the world. Everything else pales in comparison. Let them fuck themselves. ...ahem.

batfish · 03/06/2015 09:08

mountain we are going on hol when I will be 30 weeks too so I'm hoping it will be fine, I thought it would be a great idea to maroon myself on a little island in the Seychelles Shock
