Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

Gouda, I am currently using a hair bobble to fasten my work trousers. Wrap the bobble around the button, through the button hole and back around the button. Long vest top to cover and then loose jumper. My jeans etc I can still do but looking forward to super comfy maternity pants!!

goodnessgraciousgouda · 02/06/2015 19:12

Thanks one - I've been finding that using a hair elastic to do up trousers is incredibly uncomfortable when sitting down, as the whole waistband area tends to really dig into just beneath my stomach.

Maybe I'll have to invest in a pair of yoga trouser type things that I can get away with wearing outside. I have one pair I wear around the house, but would get many odd looks if I wore them out.

teejayem · 02/06/2015 19:12

gouda I was in Mat leggings at 10/11 weeks, I was SO uncomfortable in my normal clothes and couldn't bear anything pressing on the bloat/bump. It actually made me feel less queasy once I embraced wearing overbump stuff. I felt like a bit of a fraud because I was still quite early pregnant but fuck it, wear what you're comfy in. I recommend ASOS mat wear, it's very comfy and reasonable, and there's always loads of stuff in the outlet on cheeeeeep.

Jcandy · 02/06/2015 19:38

Thanks I just feel guilty and still feel like I should he able to cope better. Yes 3 Sad the pharmacist would only give me Cymex which is anti bacterial. Said I couldn't have the antiviral stuff that would actually workAngry

I've bought some mat jeans already as mine were just too tight if I wore them for more than an hour. Apparently bump bands are good (you can get them from new look) they hold your trousers up when unzipped and cover your modesty. Need to order some to wear with my work trousers till my mat uniform comes in

Hobbit19 · 02/06/2015 19:46

Oops JC I will remember that for the future. WTF is the point of giving you an antibacterial for a virus?! And also, stop feeling guilty about work, you are growing a human, it is hard work!! Smile

Niffertiti · 02/06/2015 19:57

Gouda I'm 8 weeks and I am still ok with some of my looser trousers but was beginning to spend a disproportionate amount of time in my yoga pants/no bra. I have therefore already invested in bra expanders/mat bras/bigger t-shirts/some cheapo elastic waist trousers from Asda!!

I do also have a shed load of proper mat wear on the way, but only because you seem to have to buy online and I want to try on and return rejects rather than reach a point of desperation and end up with stuff I don't like. It's honestly not just an excuse for shopping!Blush I think it'll be a while before I actually need it.

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 02/06/2015 20:13

Apart from one pair of maternity jeans and a pair of little-used work trousers, I moved over into dresses with maternity tights at the earliest opportunity. I just couldn't get on with waistbands of any description.

I've posted more than is strictly necessary about the wonders of White Stuff for mid-to- (as it transpires for me) - late pregnancy. I hated maternity clothes because a) it's 98% mail order these days and b) as a petite person, I could never get anything that was a decent fit. While I was still mobile, I was in WS one day and realised just how much they have that's either made of jersey or has elasticated panels, tie waists or similar. And because it was all too long for me normally, there was room in a size up to stretch over my bump. Problem pretty-much solved, and they were smart enough for work too. Advertorial over!

Just had to hand over story time because I felt sooooo sick again. Yuk, yuk. :( But maybe it's a good sign.

jellypi3 · 02/06/2015 20:33

Ah id love to be petite Wink where can you get maternity leggings and tights from?

gaggiagirl · 02/06/2015 20:53

I was petite. I'm now the size Canada!
jelly mat tights and leggings from h&m, new look, Asda or mothercare if you have more money than sense. I feel that there is little point buying expensive basics like that they are all the same.
My mat tights wouldn't cover my bump so I got my usual.primark tights in xl instead. Cheaper and more effective, recommended by pis great tip.

gaggiagirl · 02/06/2015 20:54

Size of Canada...obvs.

teejayem · 02/06/2015 20:54

I got mat leggings from debenhams (they have a small mat wear section in the Lakeside store jelly) I've also got some from new look, but I had to go to Basildon for those, as they have Mat wear and Lakeside don't. Otherwise ASOS. Tights I got from Marks and Sparks. New look were doing a pack with two leggings, a dress, a mat t shirt and a bump band for £40 which I picked up early on, I'll see if I can find the link, it was good value and I'm wearing it all still now..

Hobbit19 · 02/06/2015 21:01

I pretty much live in dresses normally Before stupid IBS makes trousers uncomfortable that's what I like to say anyway. I think in reality I have needed a size bigger trousers for about 3 years, but I WILL NOT GIVE IN!!! Smile However, in an attempt to hide the burgeoning bump from the school kids I have reverted to trousers (undone) and baggy tops. I have just ordered some maternity trousers though, I don't really need them yet but I can't wait to wear them and be able to breathe out!!

Purpleball · 02/06/2015 21:05

Evening viroids. There's tons to catch up on.

Rhi I'm sorry to hear about your Nan, hope, you got to talk to her today.

Before, Cym and Tee, hope you see some baby action soon.

M&S have elasticated waist wide leg trousers. The waist band is comfortable too and can be pulled higher if uncomfortable

I've been in leggings all along with occasional maxi dresses. I bought bigger size mega stretchy leggings. Amazon and eBay were good for maternity leggings for about £5

Cheap maternity bras are crap. I've bitten the bullet, measured myself and ordered one for £30 from amplebosom. M&S don't do a big enough back size and my last Debenhams bra was shite!

My Aussie Aunt sent a fluffy dingo for the baby, it's a bit scary looking though!

Watching springwatch where they are doing a feature on beavers and talking about sleepy beavers and healthy beavers. My mind is in the gutter!

jellypi3 · 02/06/2015 21:27

Oo great tips thanks!! tee I'll check out debenhams at lakeside for sure (not ventured to Basildon for quite some time lol). I always wear dresses and tights to work so will just upgrade to nigger dresses and tights when the time comes.

Ditched the bath tonight for a hot shower. Was bliss. I miss hot water.

Hobbit19 · 02/06/2015 21:37

....bigger dresses Jel?! Blush

NFMArse: I have done all of the poos today Viroids, and each one of them a different and surprising colour. I am oddly proud of my rainbow bum. Confused

jellypi3 · 02/06/2015 21:45

Haha oops that's a total typo!!! Sorry Yes BIGGER dresses.........

Oh fuck I feel bad writing that word!

jellypi3 · 02/06/2015 21:46

pud I had a few funny coloured poops today!

Purpleball · 02/06/2015 21:49

Haha ooops

Think someone has had my poo today. Nothing happening here

Lookingforadvice123 · 02/06/2015 21:51

I feeling utter shite but your typing faux pas has made me giggle jelly. Red face or what!

I've had arse rain tonight, first time in a while. It also smellt distinctively like a vodka post-night out poo but I haven't touched a drop in over 5 weeks! Random.

RhiannonElward · 02/06/2015 21:52

Looking her name's Elizabeth, and our baby girl will most likely be called Eira Elizabeth. This is our third and all our others have middle names from mine and dp's grandparents. Eira will be lucky, my DD has to put up with Doreen for a middle name and my boy has Royston after dp's Grandad. I didn't really foresee myself naming our kids after family members, but I am very glad we have. Sorry to hear about your aunty, but 95 is a fine age and a full life is a job well done. My grandmother has four people named after her across 3 generations, so I'm by no means the first, in fact she's probably bored of it by now.

I'm going to see my Nan again on Thursday but she's now unable to take her medication and is only expected to live a few days. I suppose she won't be awake for this visit but I'll tell her about Eira anyway, who knows what she's taking in.

Pixie I will probably be needing nipple wheels in the future but for now my norks are more pert than I ever remember them being. They've come up lovely, even if I do say so myself. Once they deflate when I finish breastfeeding, I will need wheels, or maybe I'll just tuck them in my socks and save the trouble.

As for maternity clothes, I definitely bloated, but then shrank back a little before the bump emerged. I've recently bought some maternity leggings and they are lovely and comfy, and they'd stay up ona much smaller bump than mine, maybe that's the best next step gouda? I posted a link a few pages back for some I got for 4.49 on Ebay with free delivery, so if you're tight like me then that might be the way forward :)

Tee I love the way your mind works, a sleepy beaver is much better than the fangy fanjo I conjured earlier. A nice friendly set of genitals is better than the alternative, no? Depends on the situation I suppose...

RhiannonElward · 02/06/2015 21:54

Oh to be less thick, sorry folks. Purple is the sleepy beaver lady, Tee's is nothing of the sort I'm sure :)

pretzelpieces · 02/06/2015 22:05

Thanks pud

pretzelpieces · 02/06/2015 22:06

Oops posted to early. I think I was going to say and glad you are feeling less sick now pud

Sorry to hear that rhi Thanks

Purpleball · 02/06/2015 22:17

Yep mine is definitely a sleepy beaver!
Tee's sounds the exact opposite Wink
