Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

:( sorry it's so tough pixie I imagine it's a more physical exhaustion at that stage. I'm just so tired, I went to bed about 8;30 last night and didn't wake up until 5:30 today but I'm still shattered.

I hope your getting lots of rest pixie :)

Jcandy · 01/06/2015 17:57

Thanks everyone it was amazing! Especially when it moved Grin just so strange to think there's something inside me moving that much and I don't really know about it! Could see quite a lot in the scan though at an awkward backwards angle with lying down. DP got to see a lot more. He thinks baby Candy takes after me as it moved so much, I have no idea what he is talking about Grin

Back to work tomorrow...... first 13 hour shift in 20 months....... let's see how that goes!

PixieChops · 01/06/2015 18:33

Lol Candy, I was always amazes at how much they move at that age, just swimming around with loads of room! Trust me in a good few weeks you'll be praying back to the days when you can sleep without a foot being wedged in your ribs or constant hiccuping! I was having a lie down today and I saw a foot.. Yes his actual foot outline moving across from my ribs down to my hip! It was the weirdest thing and there's not much room for him to go so I always feel a bit like I'm being stretched sideways when he's moving like that.
Just talked to my mum for half an hour (more like whinged at her about how much pain I'm in) she makes me feel better, she doesn't half drive me nuts but I do love her. She's agreed to take DD for a night this week or take her to Wales if her and my step dad go so I can have a break. I'd miss the pest like mad but I really need to chill out a bit. DP is working quite far away again so I'm racking up 90 miles in a day as well as looking after DD and trying to look after myself and do the housework. Confused No wonder my back is buggered! Hope you're all having a nice relaxing evening Smile

Pisghetti · 01/06/2015 18:48

MrPis was astonished at all the waving and body popping BabyPis was doing at the 12 week scan Smile

Jelly I was a big fan of the nap. I would sleep for a couple of hours on the sofa as soon as I got home from work. Once you tell work that you're pregnant they're meant to provide an area where you can rest if you need to - it's all a bit backwards though as the time you need it the most is the time you don't necessarily want them to know!

Niffertiti · 01/06/2015 18:51

Looking over the course of my scan last week the various measurements came out anywhere between 7+1 and 7+4, depending on the angle I think. Microniff is not much of an exhibitionist it would seem and is hidden away in there. So I think it's a fairly inexact science. Also, it's nature innit, the baby doesn't know that there is a timetable it's supposed to be working to.

Candy how exciting about seeing all that movement! I have images of baby candy doing a little dance routine in there!Grin

PixieChops · 01/06/2015 19:21

I didn't know that Pis! When I told them I was pregnant I got left with loads more shite and had to manoeuvre massive amounts of files! God so glad I left and never looked back after I went on maternity!

teejayem · 01/06/2015 19:27

Napping jelly and just loads of boring early nights. I'd be out the door for work at 7am and back home about 7.30pm and asleep by 7.45. I would write off weekend afternoons and sleep, or lay in like a teenager. I actually found the tiredness worse than the sickness - come 3pm I'd literally be nodding off at my desk. It does pass though!!

Still have arse rain. Nothing else Hmm before, cym any luck?!

Toast85 · 01/06/2015 19:48

Scan was wonderful, loved seeing all the details. And baby toast is a girl! Well, sonographer was as sure as she could be, but couldn't guarantee obviously. But her bits looked pretty girly to me (baby's not sonographer's).

Really pleased to hear the rest of the good scan news today too! Sorry for those of you having bad days and those who are still not having their babies yet.

Fleurchamp · 01/06/2015 19:55

Sleep, sleep and more sleep for those in the early stages.

I clearly remember being asleep more than awake. I was also fortunate that I could come home at lunchtime to nap for half an hour or so.

Hopefully it will pass. I am starting to get tired again now (around 32 weeks it started again) but nothing like the exhaustion in the first trimester.

Now it's physical tiredness, probably due to my size and additional weight.

Not sure how those with other little people to attend to do it.

Lovely to hear all the good scan news Grin

jellypi3 · 01/06/2015 20:28

Thanks all, wish I could nap at work! Good to know it's not just me getting tired though :) I don't think I'll manage game of thrones tonight.

FeatheredTail · 01/06/2015 20:36

Great news on all the scans! Wine (non-alcoholic naturally)

Fleur your director sounds like a knob - a lot like mine in fact. Just not on to leave all that work unchecked - totally unacceptable. I feel your pain. In my organisation un just left to swallow down the anger if someone senior steps out of line. Grrr. If I were as far along as you, I'd be thinking about taking some fake sick leave....

Thanks for your kind words this morning re: tingling left side. GP friend thinks I've probably just been sitting with my legs crossed too much that has irritated a nerve, but has given me the go ahead to keep badgering her of the tingling gets more pronounced/doesn't go away. She assures me I don't have MS and I haven't had a stroke (I swear I'm not usually such a hypochondriac....)

Also took another - hopefully my last this pregnancy - pregnancy test which was positive and has alleviated my fear that I'm not actually pregnant. I just realised how mental that sounds, but oh well! When you're only symptom is bigger boobs and sleepier than normal, it's hard to believe!

jellypi3 · 01/06/2015 20:48

I second that festher I keep wanting to test but stop myself at the last moment. Im glad for the boobs and tiredness because without it I wouldn't believe the tests. Also very achy today, not sure if that's a symptom. Hips, knees and thighs are aching like I've run 5k!

gaggiagirl · 01/06/2015 20:50

Eek toast a girl! Yaaaaay! Where's the picture at?

Hobbit19 · 01/06/2015 20:57

Ah Yey for a lovely scan day Viroids! Looking, I really wouldn't worry, my measurements today were between 10 + 5 and 11 + 2. Sonographer (who was lovely and complimented me three times on my wonderfully full bladder Hmm) said 11 + 2 was the best measurement as Christmas Pud was all curled up the other times. SO CUTE! So in summary, try not to worry.

Been to tell SIL and BIL tonight, SIL v excited and kept giving us random stuff, we left with three books and a breast pump Shock it was lovely that she was so excited though.

JCandy and Toast, I'm so pleased your scans went well and that you are having a girl Toast! JC our babbers are going to be born at the same time (ish) YEY!

Alright, I have been awake now for 36 hours straight and I am far too giddy so I am going to post a pic on FB and then go to bed. Goodnight!!

Toast85 · 01/06/2015 21:39

Photo of 'Melba toast' (thanks dulcet!) is on fb Smile

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 01/06/2015 21:52

Just a quick message to pass on my congratulations to all who had a scan today, it's amazing, isn't it.

Am still waiting. BH have ramped up and at 6pm I was violently sick (oh joy) with only a few seconds warning. Felt like morning sickness. Told my midwife who said "hmmmm" and advised me to get an early night. Who knows!

Night night all :)

gaggiagirl · 01/06/2015 22:00

before ooh! Puuuuuuuuuuuush!

DulcetMoans · 01/06/2015 22:01

Oh that is something before! Have you done a big poo? I'm told that's part of it too - a big clean out!

Great to see all the photos viroids, congrats to you all!

Think you've got a plan there fleur, fuck her! (You can spend the week doing handover notes with me!) glad you feel more positive about the birth, still annoying for you.

There is no recommendation other than sleeping jelly. Sounds like we all did it. It's hard when it hits at work but just whenever you can at home.

la, where are you?! I need you! DH shut the cats tail in the door! I know it's not your speciality area but let's pretend she is a lizard with fur - what can I do?!

Lookingforadvice123 · 01/06/2015 22:02

Thanks pud, yeah the sonographer said at this stage it's so small it's hard to measure, she said if she took another measurement there and then it would be different again. It's just so frustrating that time is literally going backwards. Ah well I'm still saying I'm 9 weeks today as that was my LMP date, when I have my 12 week scan I'll use that date then as I imagine it'll be more accurate.

Well done on the bladder though pud! Mine was too full even after my half a wee. Will have to drink a bit less before my 12 week one!

Lovely news again about your scan, I hope your first trim symptoms start disappearing soon as all I keep hearing is how great the second trim is! I want to hear that you're GLOWING Wink

Purpleball · 01/06/2015 22:08

Lovely scan pics ladies.

Before hope it means something

Tee, anything doing? Say if you'd rather we didn't ask

Cym, how you doing? Anything happening?

I need to calm the fk down over the in laws. I've wound myself up good and proper. They'll either buy something or they won't. Simples Smile

Been very tearful tonight. No idea why. Poor DH doesn't know what to do with me Confused

gaggiagirl · 01/06/2015 22:52

looking yeah I'm glowing, resplendent and vibrant I'm fucking not! yes the second trimester is a lot better though.

purple I've felt like that for a fortnight. I cry most days. Everything seems so hopeless and I've totally given up. Is it just today you feel like this?

PixieChops · 01/06/2015 23:00

I've dropped a hint to my parents about a cot and a car seat, they haven't bit yet purple. We need about £200 to get what we need ?? don't know how we're going to get it but I'm sure it'll sort itself out it always does. My parents refused to buy anything before baby was here as they didn't want to jinx it... Is this what your in laws are doing do you think? Try not
To get too worked up I'm sure they will get you something or surprise you Smile

Congrats on a girl toast, I saw the pic on Facebook she's lovely x

I don't know how I'm managing being nearly 37 weeks pregnant and running after a 1 year old... Not very well is the answer lol

Omg have you seen the weather outside? It's ridiculous!! I'm in bed with a jumper on over my pyjamas. Seriously it's June ffs!!

teejayem · 02/06/2015 01:24

Between my arse rain and befores projectile vom we should collectively deliver something tonight, no?!
I don't mind you asking at all purple I just wish I had something more interesting to report!! Went to bed at 11, woke up about 20 minutes ago for wee, generalised crampyness and backache, so nothing new. And we dtd before game of thrones earlier which I think might rank up there with least sensual experience ever, ending with me saying to mr tee 'pull it out SLOWLY!! I don't want to lose what you've deposited!!' All the ttc tricks are out the window, I couldn't raise my knees if I tried! Anyway it seems to not have done much Confused

Seriously windy out there tonight! I can take some painkillers in about 40 minutes which should make me dopey enough to go from 2.30-4.30 I hope. Fingers crossed.. Xx

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 02/06/2015 04:59

Nothing doing here. Just a touch of pregnancy insomnia!

Purple and Gaggia sorry you're feeling teary. Hormones are weird things sometimes. Over the last couple of days I've felt so angry and fired up and irrational. Of course, it's part of what's going on in readiness for the birth, but it makes me feel like a crazy person. It's feeling out of control that's so odd.

Be kind to yourselves - and remember that all things will pass. If I get stuck in the moment, I like to think of how life might be in a year. There are no guarantees, but none of us will be where we are now.

Bit deep for 5am, sorry! Time for a snack.

Question: should I spend another £7.99 on the "Baby we are ready for you" hypnobirthing download, or should I just leave it?

teejayem · 02/06/2015 08:23

Nothing here either. I am having a snivelling morning, just had a text from my friend due same time as me - she is having a Cs this morning as baby is transverse. I am so jealous it's made me cry. Even the cat looks disgusted. Added to which my salary correction hasn't been paid by work as promised so now I'm woefully overdrawn and can't self console with reckless eBay spending :( fuck you hormones, and fuck you work!

before I've got the Maggie howell preparing for birth and the labour companion. I've not listened to the latter, but think I might give it a whirl in the bath in a bit. I don't think you can have too many relaxation recordings! I think the breathing techniques will be really handy even post birth so I don't think it's a waste...

bollocks to this, I'm eating Rice Krispie square snacks in bed. And then I am going to drag myself up and down the stairs and make this baby bloody well do something.
