Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

Well the walk did something. I am in epic amounts of discomfort and back to crawling about the place. Baby does feel lower tho, there's pressure behind my pubic bone, of all places. There really isn't anywhere else for baby to go but out. If this is "it" I'm happy. If this is the start of x days of baby being wedged in that position (including Monday when I've potentially got to look after DS solo) then I'm slightly less thrilled.

Impression of me, moving about: "OOOOOoohh (stands up)... ah-ah...owwwwwwww. (Shuffle). Gah! Oh shit...(stumbles) Ooooooffffh (sits down again). DH has zoned it all out and now only responds to anything high pitched. I am a pathetic specimen. I may even duck out of lunch with my new (very lovely but not very well-known yet) NCT group because I'm in no mood to be sociable. Excusable?

Looking personally I would do whatever you need to feel good. Only one person at work told me I looked "tired", the rest stuck to variations on the theme of bump size (massive/tiny/massive). Suppose I should think myself lucky!!

teejayem · 31/05/2015 00:04

Def excusable before - you absolutely are not pathetic at all! Glad it's done something at least and gets you on the road to delivery. Come on baby before!
I also shuffle-grunt with occasional 'fucking hell' thrown in for good measure, or the Tarzan yowl rolling over in bed. Mr tee also zones out, he's been dealing with my sciatic episodes for years so recognises the grumbling noises as oppose to the 'holy shit it's bad' noises.

PixieChops · 31/05/2015 04:35

God I so much as fart these days and OH thinks baby is coming! Hmm He knows about my sciatica, wonky pelvis, achey legs etc but still asks me what's wrong anytime I make a slight noise.
Ga I bet your norks are fantastic.
Tee shame about your car costing so much but at least it's back on the road now
La hope you're having a lovely weekend Smile

Can't believe I'm awake at this ungodly hour considering I'm still knackered from the night befores antics.
Had a cry to myself when I was in bed last night, OH heard me and asked what was wrong... I'm just so pissed off with being in pain (he did offer to massage me but I'm aching all over so he would've been at it for hours- got a cuddle instead) and not able to do anything, I seriously think I should have crutches, I can barely move and walking upstairs is like climbing Everest especially if I'm having to carry DD. I'm so out of breath and fed up. I try and clean my house once a week and even that is seriously slacking, I can't cope with dirt and untidiness it drives me mad because I can't relax. Got physio on Thursday so I may have to see what else they can maybe give me to take the weight off my legs/ pelvis. The day I get my epidural will be amazing.. I'm seriously looking forward to not being able to feel my legs for a few hours.
Anyway that's enough about my pity party!
Anyone doing anything nice today? I'm being taken out for lunch by OH and getting some bits for me and new baby. Could do with some blankets/ bottles and I need some giant knickers for after the C Section. How glam! Grin

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 31/05/2015 05:24

Pixie I would def ask your physio for some crutches. I'd be totally housebound without mine. Also, have you considered getting a cleaner just a couple of times while you feel so crap? An agency would do that for you. I'm lucky that DH does most all of the tidying in our house, it makes such a massive difference to my mood, esp now. Be kind to yourself lovely.

Lying in my labour room listening to the rain and thinking about the baby. Trying to focus on the end result a bit more so I stay positive and do less moaning

LaLaLaaaa · 31/05/2015 05:59

waves pom poms go before! Thinking of you - try to focus on your breathing and picturing lovely baby cuddles at the end. Good luck! Hope it does t take too long.

Pixie definitely ask for crutches. You poor thing it sounds like you've had enough. Being pg takes a lot out of you and you've been pg for 2 years now xx

YY to crutches pixie they def take some of the pressure off, and force you to walk carefully. I don't tend to use mine around the house too much (can grab walls etc) apart from when I get up out of a seat, but I wouldn't leave the house without them. Big, big hug for you, I really really feel your pain! It's just shit. I'm at the point now where I dread going to bed, and have started putting it off because every time I wake up in the night and need to change sides it's absolute agony, I just get stuck. Coupled with constantly needing to wee and trying to make my joints move in a walking fashion, it's just dreadful. Last couple of weeks it's really ramped up from where I suspect baby has dropped so pelvis/sij is under even more pressure. And I usually love my bed and naps Confused. Bless you, have you got a hot water bottle or anything? I don't know if it actually does much but the microwaveable heat bag I've got seems to help a little bit.

Hope you're okay before! I am also listening to the rain, had some quite promising wet CM when I got up an hour ago, but nothing else, so another night bites the dust!! . Will be back on the ball this morning (albeit gently) and see what today brings....

WilHarlot · 31/05/2015 08:14

Good luck Before, so excited for you! Hope it's a quick one.

DulcetMoans · 31/05/2015 08:24

Sounding good before. Don't worry about pulling out of the NCT lunch, if any group is going to understand how drained you are feeling it's them, plus they are waiting for one of you to have a baby so it won't be a surprise. Positive thoughts your way - it's all worth it in the end!

You do sound fed up pixie, hopefully a trip to the docs can give you something for the pain, even if it is just a crutches to aid movement. Is there any more that DP can do to help you at home?

Shame about the car tee. £450 is a lot in one hit. Is Mr Tee working so far that he would struggle to get back next week? It's dreary weather here today, maybe today meets the criteria?

Lookingforadvice123 · 31/05/2015 08:30

Good luck before! Looking forward to seeing a newborn snap (no pressure mind, take as long as you need Wink)

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 31/05/2015 08:55

Thanks for the good wishes folks. I should have been clearer that my "labour room" is in my house. We've made it into a sort of "nest" for me with blankets and bean bags and stuff - I went in there to chill out after waking at 4:45.

So far, the only signs of possible imminent labour I've had today are a stinking headache and an upset stomach. But they aren't necessarily connected either.

Sorry folks, didn't mean to misrepresent. As you were! Blush Smile

batfish · 31/05/2015 09:03

Hope you either feel better or have a baby soon before!

looking some places have ammonia free dye as an option if you are worried - I nearly got mine done before 12 weeks and called a couple of places and said I was pregnant and that's what they suggested. But then I have read stuff that says hair dye is fine so who knows! Whatever you are comfortable with I guess - prob check with midwife and hairdresser so you feel you've covered all bases.

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 09:17

Good luck before gx you have a baby soon!

LaLaLaaaa · 31/05/2015 09:24

Awwwww before you got me excited!! Grin Ha! Really hope things start moving soon for you.

Tee, before and pixie take whatever help they offer and ask for more if needed. No one is pathetic for not wanting to be in pain.

I really feel for you guys.

Before I wonder if anyone I know is in your nct group! Some friends from fit mummy are in the one that started before mine.

I've had a lovely weekend. I lasted until midnight last night at dinner and cocktails with my friends. Bump started to hurt towards the end. It's lovely seeing my friends, I feel so much more like 'me' for it.

Going for brunch then home to mr la and the cats.

After this I've one more big trip then it's home stretch to baby. Going to see take that on Friday.

Looking I think dye is fine but wear gloves and open window to minimise fumes

Not great about car tee but at least it's sorted now

Even if I have a day when. Feel great I get 'you look tired' at work which instantly makes me feel shit!

Ah, thanks la, I'll do that when I get on a proper puter.

Now which one of youse lot sent the arse rain here instead of to jelly HmmGrin typing on the loo

Fleurchamp · 31/05/2015 10:13

Morning viroids

An awesome night's sleep here, even the rail works at the end of the garden (complete with flood lights) didn't wake me. Poor DH decamped to the sofa.

Dreading going back to work tomorrow, we have had such a lovely couple of weeks off together. I have so much to do and only 3 weeks left. It's also a test to see how much of my work has been done by my boss in my absence (she has decided to save money and do my job herself with the help of a junior) - I am guessing she has left a lot for me to do and is going in for a nose job on Wednesday! She will only be back a couple of days before my mat. Leave starts Confused (she deliberately booked it for this time).

Must. Not. Think. About. Work. On. My. Weekend.

Happy Sunday everyone Smile

Pisghetti · 31/05/2015 11:03

I dyed my hair throughout - as La said wear gloves, open the window and try not to drink it...

3 weeks Fleur! That's really exciting! And if you're busy the time should fly by Grin

Before, Tee and Pixie you have my sympathies - pelvic pain is just horrid. I remember that feeling of dread when you woke up in the night, needing to turn over. I'm now in that phase where I'm starting to look back at pregnancy with rose tinted specs - I'm going to have to go back through the threads and re-read my moans over the months to see that actually it wasn't all bump rubbing and walking through corn fields in floaty kaftans!

Purpleball · 31/05/2015 11:35

Hope something happens soon Before

Hope the pain eases Tee and Pixie

More sorting here, a trip to the tip and MILs for dinner Rock and roll Smile

Hobbit19 · 31/05/2015 11:43

Hang on a second Pis, pregnancy is not all bump rubbing and walking through corn fields in floaty kaftan?! Bugger!! Grin

Hope you ladies in pain feel better soon. My pal had a lot of pelvic pain right before birth but had easyish labours as everything was already so stretched in her pelvis. She felt better after birth and was totally back to normal after two weeks. Gx for all of you!

ChatEnOeuf · 31/05/2015 13:44

Thank you Gouda, glad to see you back and feeling a bit more confident. First trimester anxiety is tough.

gaggiagirl · 31/05/2015 13:44

Were going to see poltergeist in 3D now! Woop!

teejayem · 31/05/2015 16:46

Righty, so had persistent shitty shitty backache all day. Now getting the feeling like I have upset stomach, so have been camped in the bathroom but no arse rain to be seen. Probably two-three times an hour. But then I only started checking regularity from 4pm. Now I've posted it I bet it bloody goes off....
I'm bouncing with trusty wheat pack stuck down back of leggings. I look like the Kenny Everett / rod Stewart impression.

Indigoblue2 · 31/05/2015 17:08

Ooh tee, sounds promising! Even if not the real thing sounds like it's moving in the right direction!

Indigoblue2 · 31/05/2015 17:09

But hope it is the real thing!
