Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

Aah lovely looking - must be that your worry is gone now, you must have been shattered.

Good idea to call the midwife la - am sure itching nothing to worry about other than being bloody annoying but best to check!

I am stuck in exam hell, I'm so miserable! I have 2 to do and one of them is soooo hard and now I'm in panic mode and just think I'm screwed so now I am just staring at my books wanting to cry and nothing is going in Sad Sad Sad

mountaingirl01 · 29/05/2015 09:32

Yanbu la! Your landlord needs to pull his finger out. Not ideal, but could you suggest you guys arrange for someone to come and he says them? At least it will get done quicker? For what it's worth, we had our windows replaced recently and there was no mess at all. Couldn't even tell that the guy had been there (apart from the double glazing)

LaLaLaaaa · 29/05/2015 09:32

Can you get bouncing on ball before? That might get things moving?

I'm excited to see my best friends tonight. Driving to friends place in London and we will then go pick up our friend who's flying down from Glasgow for the weekend. Weeeeee!

I can't do an awful lot but I can definitely drink tea and natter!

Thanks for landlord back up - it's hard because he's so lovely! He just spent a fortune on a new shed for us.

Dh says he's messaged him to stress how important it is this gets done ASAP. He's going to do the painting this weekend

Any believe you are still waiting on the window la! It is hard if he's nice though. Hopefully it won't make too much mess. When we had all our windows down a couple months ago it was pretty tidy actually.

Speaking of tidy, I'm about to get off a train in Cardiff! Off to see my friend and her new baby. Very exciting. We only have a few hours together but worth it as probably last chance before I have baby to. I will be getting welsh cakes from the indoor market for everyone, don't worry!

I guess pirate pants will have to do tee!

Exams sound shit bat, when are they? I think sometimes stepping away from the books is the best way. Brain just won't absorb anymore!

Good luck today purple! Hope for a picture later!

I'm going to go crazy here and say before will have the baby tomorrow! So yeah, get bouncing, eating and drinking!

pretzelpieces · 29/05/2015 11:16

Hello, just popping over from JSing cause I got my bfp yesterday! Might just lurk for a while as obviously I'm worried that several pg tests are wrong and I'm not really pregnant.

LaLaLaaaa · 29/05/2015 11:17

Ooh welsh cakes. And pirate pants! Two wonderful things, I wonder if you can combine the two.

Hope exams go ok bat

pretzelpieces · 29/05/2015 11:22

Thanks jc Grin

jellypi3 · 29/05/2015 11:34

hey pretzel :D

batfish · 29/05/2015 11:43

Welcome pretzel and congrats! We have all been there with not believing that we are pregnant, it should sink in after another few years Smile I am nearly 22 weeks and still not sure I get it! I have stopped doing pregnant tests now though haha

dulcet exams are 9th and 10th June so another week and a half of hating life Sad

Has anyone looked into cord blood banking? As in keeping it for yourself rather than donating? A couple of friends have done it recently for their babies but it's bloody expensive - I have only done the teeniest bit of reading on it but it seems like it is something that would be very very unlikely to ever be needed and if you did need a stem cell transplant then in some cases you can't actually use your own. Suspect it is one of things like insurance where you probably won't need it but if you do then you'll be glad you have it. Feel like a bad mum to be thinking oh I'm sure it will be fine and I don't want to spend all the money! Is it just the latest thing to prey on worried parents to be over or is it actually something worth thinking about?!

Purpleball · 29/05/2015 11:59

Hi pretzel and welcome.

Hope he gets it sorted La

My birthday was in April, but as we were going away he started the flowers now Smile

Can't find my maternity bras, I hope they still fit as I need to give up the underwires and embrace the sandbag look Grin

Looking hurray for long sleeps Smile

Tee I'm laughing at your fridge raiding antics too. I've got a pickled thing going on too. Might need cheese and beetroot for lunch today

Purpleball · 29/05/2015 12:29

Bat I know you can donate cord blood. The scary breastfeeding book says the baby needs the cord blood as before birth, to make itself smaller a third of its blood is transferred into the cord, so after birth, you're meant to wait til it stops pulsating so the baby gets its blood back, which turns it from purple to a normal flesh colour.
I've never heard of banking it though

LaLaLaaaa · 29/05/2015 12:34

Yo! Hi pretzel! Congrats doll, we all the surreal feeling so you're not alone! We are here for support when needed (and mad 'is this normal?' questions)

Some hospitals in London do cord blood donation and storage but where I am you have to get private company and its very expensive. I'm opting for delayed clamping which you can't do if you donate I think and it'll benefit my baby more.

Hiding in car at sainsburys. Massive torrential rainstorm!

teejayem · 29/05/2015 12:46

Hi pretzel and congrats!

We've asked to do delayed Cord Clamping but the blood banking is crazy money, it's a great idea and I am all over stem cell research but we just can't afford it.

dulce I LOVE welsh cakes. My nana used to make them for me and I'd eat them hot with butter straight off the hot plate. Delicious.

Well if the weather stays like this, Tiny Tee def isn't showing up, we have a fair weather appearance agreement! I've just eaten the last eclair so need to hobble to town, but the bloody rain!!! Argh!

Hobbit19 · 29/05/2015 12:53

Hi Pretzel! Don't worry, I am still not sure if I believe it at 10 weeks (I have weed on every thing I can find but still think I may be making it up). Weirdly, I had the (absolutely horrendous) miscarriage dream last night and feel more like the pregnancy is real today because of it, if that makes sense? Sheer relief I suppose. I kept waking up in my dream and realising it was a dream but I wasn't actually awake so it kept being real. Horrible!! Sad

Lunch was rather unsuccessful today. Made some 'delicious' cous cous, couldn't eat it. Made some crumpets, couldn't eat them. So I gave up and had a satsuma and a gingerbread man. FFS! Confused

On a more positive note I managed 25 minutes if yoga before I had to lie down, Yey! Time for a nap now me thinks....

Keep plugging away at the exams Bat, not long to go now!

Fattycow · 29/05/2015 13:26

I am really tired after getting up at silly pm. Shower and a nap is the plan for me this afternoon!

jellypi3 · 29/05/2015 13:33

bet you can;t wait to go back to work pud Wink

Fattycow · 29/05/2015 13:42

Welcome pretzel!

Hobbit19 · 29/05/2015 13:45

Ha ha Jelly, not looking forward to it! Should start to feel better soon (I hope!) and all my exam classes have finished so it shouldn't be too bad as I will only have 2 to 3 hours worth of lessons per day.

Hobbit19 · 29/05/2015 15:08

Also, when I go back to work I won't be able to MN all day and will have to talk to REAL actual people, face to face, noooooooo ha ha ha!
3rd lunch was a success!!

Pisghetti · 29/05/2015 15:37

We are real people Pud Grin and you've seen our faces now!

Purpleball · 29/05/2015 15:40

Babypurple is still uncooperative Smile we asked the sex and eventually she saw what might be a willy but she wasn't that sure.
So we might be team blue, or we might not.
Have another scan on 9th June. I'll ask again then Grin

Been to Aldi baby event and bought fuckloads - changing mat, bottles, 3 packs of nappies, a box of 12x 64 wipes, also got calpol, sudocreme, hooded towels, sippy cups, pvc table cloth to put under the high chair, UV sunshade tent thingy. DH spent £88 Grin

Hobbit19 · 29/05/2015 16:08

Nooo Pis, you are 'pretend people' from the Internet hee hee Wink

Good work on the shopping Purple, babypurple is going to be a mischievous one me thinks!

LaLaLaaaa · 29/05/2015 16:31

Nice work purple! Perhaps babypurple should be team purple for now - somewhere between pink and blue??
