Yes that's pretty good, night. I would have thought at 7+5 you would be in the mid-90% based on those stats. I have a 6 week and a 7+2 and it's definitely the 7+2 that will make me feel more confident.

Im feeling more positive just having written down how I feel. Going to have a Brew and wish on a Star and what will happen will happen! Cake anyone?

MemphisBella · 05/06/2015 15:02

My early scan is at 8+5 - those stats make me a lot happier about waiting that long.

Tis a loooong time to go until 12 weeks.

Raffertys · 05/06/2015 15:09

Ooh yes I'll have a slice of cake please cheesy Grin

I have eaten nothing but beige food today. It appears to be the only thing preventing me puking. Nearly flaked out in Tesco earlier.

jellypi3 · 05/06/2015 15:22

my early scan is 6+6 but i'm sort of of the opinion that what will be will be, so i'll just try and take care of myself in the meantime!

Rufus200 · 05/06/2015 15:23

Still waiting for my HCG results, just called and asked them to hurry up!

pretzelpieces · 05/06/2015 15:25

Yes I'm finding it impossible to not get excited. I am so attached to this little bean already (as I'm sure everyone is to theirs) and I don't think anything can really cushion the disappointment for any of us if it goes wrong, really. So am trying to enjoy it, with moments of fear and dread.

tossedsalads · 05/06/2015 15:34

Hi everyone!

jelly your nausea experience on the train sounds absolutely horrible. Maybe bring a sick bag in your handbag in future just in case?!

cheesy I am also convinced that things are going to go wrong as I have no symptoms whatsoever and have also been drinking slightly too much caffeine (silly I know). I have just ordered yet another clearblue digital test as I really need to see it change to 3+.

roobanya I have been doing my usual aerobics class but keeping the level down a bit. I also plan on weekly swimming and walking. I am aware that all of this might go out the window when the nausea hits. I read that squats are perfect for doing at any time in pregnancy and may also help you in labour.

Whoever told me about the M&S decaff teabags, they are delicious. Having a nice cuppa right now!

Happy Friday everyone. Heres to a wine-free weekend (sob!)Wink

Raffertys · 05/06/2015 15:39

I can also recommend Yorkshire Tea Decaf Brew

IslaMann · 05/06/2015 16:40

Hi All, may I join you? Had a BFP on Monday, and today am 5 weeks. Im 43, and my DS is 18, so theres going to be a hell of an age gap! Basically I was told 13 years ago that I'm infertile, so this is a miracle and a HUGE shock! But a very welcome one. I was feeling extremely nauseous on Tues and Wed, but its much less now, so am reassured that fluctuating symptoms are normal. I'm just taking one day at a time however as I've previously has a mmc, at 8 weeks. Due date is Feb 5th Smile

Tiredoftiredness · 05/06/2015 16:46

Welcome Isla! That is an impressive age gap, but big gaps can be good - my little bro is 13 yrs younger than me and it's been great watching him grow up and he's now brilliant with my DS who worships him!

Amazing how much Drs apps seem to vary, mine did no blood test and wouldn't even do a urine test rose!

IslaMann · 05/06/2015 16:47

Have added myself to stats too!

Raffertys · 05/06/2015 16:47

Welcome and congrats Isla

jellypi3 · 05/06/2015 16:50

Congrats isla :) lucky bean for you then!!

Anyone else ridiculously bloated? I feel so fat my belly is hard as a rock. What can I take for bloating?

purdiepie · 05/06/2015 16:55

Another oldie! Welcome Isla, I'm 44 in August and thrilled to be pregnant after giving birth last year to a baby conceived via donor egg ivf.

Gp has requested an early scan from the epu so I shall wait for the letter of confirmation. A 78% stat is superb in my book as we are given 50% chance of mc at 43.

Almost fell over with fatigue and nausea whilst pushing the pram just now. Very, very grateful for symptoms Smile

purdiepie · 05/06/2015 16:57

Jelly, it's the high levels of progesterone that cause the bloating. Nowt you can do.

Rufus200 · 05/06/2015 17:02

Just got my HCG, today is 945 and 2 days ago is apparently 500 and something, very professional of the receptionist to not have the actual value! I'm 4+5 today.

Anyway apparently that is good, bean is still in there and growing, so I just need to wait and see.

Marsaday · 05/06/2015 17:05

Anyone else feelin the preggo exhaustion? I'd forgotten how i felt when i had ds. I've just got home from work, so tired i could cry but can't stop as need to give ds his tea then take him to park to wear him out a bit, then bath time. Oh is sitting on sofa feeling sorry for himself as he has an ear infection. I know i should be sympathetic but im struggling because i desperately just want 20 mins to lie down and rest.

Marsaday · 05/06/2015 17:07

Ooh, that sounds good rufus,it has doubled which is what they look for isn't it?

pretzelpieces · 05/06/2015 17:11

jelly peppermint tea! Although it tastes like wet grass Hmm

pretzelpieces · 05/06/2015 17:12

Oh and welcome isla and congrats rufus what a reassuring result! X

Brummiegirl15 · 05/06/2015 17:26

Congrats Isla and welcome!! I'm 5 weeks today as well with due date of 5th Feb.

Great result Rufus

I'm absolutely bloody exhausted. I could've cried at work today I'm so tired. Supposed to be going out tonight and that's the last sodding thing I feel like doing. And I've got friends over for dinner tomorrow night then flying to Milan for work on Sunday.

Which I need like a hole in the head

nightandthelight · 05/06/2015 17:27

I am in bed mars and not sure I have the energy levels to get out to make dinner!

Welcome isla :)

Sounds like good results Rufus, really happy for you :)

rallytog1 · 05/06/2015 17:28

That sounds really promising Rufus. Are they going to scan you as well?

Welcome Isla Thanks

Rufus200 · 05/06/2015 17:32

rally I had a scan on Wednesday and they couldn't see anything as too early, scan booked for 6+3

Marsaday · 05/06/2015 17:39

Haha night i wish i could do that, but toddler would not have been impressed with no dinner! --He is currently painting the kitchen with-- eating yoghurt.
